Frontal Facial Symmetry Detection Using Eigenvalue Method

Facial symmetry is correspondence of face components on the both sides of face, left and right of a dividing line or about a center or an axis. Most of the research use face component like eyes, nose and ears component to identify facial symmetry. In this paper we suggest to add mouth as another face component to increase accuracy in facial symmetry detection. The results of facial symmetry detection are used for authentication process, analysis in medical, psychology and anthropology scope. By using MATLAB 7.1 we develop a program that can analyze face,asymmetry or not with utilizing eigenvalue. The contribution of this analysis is to know whether eigenvalue is suitable or not in analyzing facial symmetry

Analisis Kontribusi Pendapatan USAhatani Manggis terhadap Pendapatan Rumah Tangga Petani Manggis di Desa Cikalong, Kecamatan Sodonghilir, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat

Manggis merupakan salah satu buah unggulan Indonesia yang memiliki peluang ekspor yang cukup menjanjikan. Dari tahun ke tahun permintaan manggis meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan produksi. Di Indonesia, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya merupakan salah satu sentra produksi manggis terbesar. Desa Cikalong merupakan salah satu desa di Kecamatan Sodonghilir dengan tingkat produksi manggis tertinggi. Seiring dengan peningkatan produksi manggis, hal ini juga didukung dengan peningkatan harga manggis sebesar 13% dari tahun sebelumnya. Namun, dibalik itu semua terdapat data yang bertolak belakang dimana angka kemiskinan tertinggi di Provinsi Jawa Barat yaitu di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya sebesar 15,60%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis pendapatan USAhatani, struktur pendapatan dan kontribusi pendapatan manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga petani. Desain penelitian adalah kuantitatif explanatory dengan menggunakan analisis chi-square, analisis pendapatan USAhatani dan analisis kontribusi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Propotional Random Sampling dan diperoleh 36 petani manggis responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontribusi manggis terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga yaitu sebesar 18% dari pendapatan total rumah tangga petani, sebagai penyumbang kedua terbesar setelah pendapatan non-farm, dan nilai RC ratio manggis mencapai 5,4,dengan asumsi umur pohon berkisar antara 15-25 tahun. Hasil analisis menggunakan chi-square menjelaskan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara jumlah pohon dengan besarnya kontribusi manggis. Penerapan Undang-undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2006 Tentang Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban dengan Undang-undang Nomor 31 Tahun 2014 Tentang Perubahan Atas Undang- Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2006 dalam Perlindungan Whistleblower oleh Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban

Amid the lack of legal protection in Indonesia, a whistleblower may be threatened because of reports or testimony of the alleged violations and crimes. The parties who feel aggrieved will most likely provide resistance to prevent whistleblower report or testimony. Not even rule out those who feel aggrieved can threaten and carry out reprisals. Until now there has been no legislation that specifically regulates the whistleblower in Indonesia. Based on this fact, then there are two formulation of the problem in writing this essay, namely: First, What are the weaknesses of Act No. 13 of 2006 on Protection of Witnesses and Victims of the protection afforded Institute Witness and Victim Protection Against Whistleblower so amended by Act No. 31 of 2014? Second, How Application of Law No. 31 of 2014 on the Amendment of Act No. 13 of 2006 in the Whistleblower Protection By Witness and Victim Protection Agency?This research is a normative research, because this research author directly discusses the principles of law and its comparison. Source data used are secondary data sources comprising: primary legal materials, secondary law and tertiary legal materials. Data collection techniques in this study was conducted in accordance with methods of assessment literature or documentary studies.From the analysis of the problems that can be concluded first, Weaknesses Act No. 13 of 2006 on the Protection of Witnesses and Victims of the protection afforded by the Witness and Victim Protection Agency Against Whistleblower whistleblower is a limitation defisini understanding includes the notion of the reporting and the reporting offenders. Second, the adoption of Act No. 31 of 2014 on the Amendment of Act No. 13 of 2006 on the Protection of Whistleblower By Institute for the Protection of Witnesses and Victims are applying on the definition of the reporting (whistleblower) in the explanation of the Law Institute of witness protection, strengthening of authority Lermbaga Witness and Victim Protection; the expansion of the subject of protection; expansion of services to victims and witness protection, increased cooperation and coordination between the protection of witnesses and victims, rewards and special treatment given to the perpetrator Witness, witness Reporting (Whistleblower). From the above analysis the authors suggest, first, the whistleblower should receive adequate protection from the competent institutions. Second, it requires the existence of a law that specifically regulates the Whistleblower

Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching terhadap Hasil Belajar Kompetensi Perawatan Kulit Wajah

Generally, facial skin care materials are considered difficult because students are required to be able to remember the steps of facial skin care treatment, therefore, it is important to using instructional models that can help to improve the ability of students in receiving instructional materials. This study aims to determine the effect of instructional model Quantum Teaching on the Basic Skin Care subject as a basic competence of X class Tata Kecantikan SMK Negeri 1 Beringin. This research was conducted by pre experiment methods. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin in February 2015. The descriptive result of 31 students' tendency of facial skin care study before being given the application of a quantum teaching (X) model included sufficient category and facial skin care learning after applying Quantum Teaching (Y) including high category. The results obtained showed that there is a significant effect between the results of facial skin care study after being given the application of Quantum Teaching models in students of SMK Negeri 1 Beringin

Kondisi Pekerja Senior Pasca Pensiun Setelah Dikaryakan Kembali Dalam Perusahaan Manufaktur Jepang

This study discusses about the condition of the re-employed senior workers after retirement in Japan\u27s manufacturing companies. Since experiencing demographics problems, Japan faces many obstacles, one of them in the employment sector. Meanwhile, the government more incentive to make efforts to make Japan\u27s rise from the stagnant economic situation after the economic recession since the 1990s. One of them by employing returning senior workers who have retired. The age of workers in Japan\u27s pensions set by the government at the age of 60 years and the government is trying to raise the limit. Policies readmission of senior workers in the manufacturing companies of Japan after retirement is the type of work contract system. With a logical consequence of the creation of a number of different conditions with the conditions of the workers before retirement. The most prominent difference is the condition of the status of work and reduced the salary given up to 50% as a result of the worker\u27s status has changed. However, there are still some conditions such as the number of hours worked, the same job. And on the part of senior workers have a good respon to their readmission policies in the company to support the employment sector in Japan. To obtain primary data, the authors distributed questionnaires to employees of manufacturing companies who are above the age of 60. Anteseden Perceived Risk Pada Purchase Intention

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of perceived risk to purchase intention private label products in Indonesia modern market. This study used primary data sources obtained directly by distributing questionnaires using purposive sampling techniques, gathered 200 respondents with minimum criteria of period at least 18 years while maximum of period is > 61 years and have bought private label products. The dependent variable in this study is purchase intention, while independent variables are considered functional risk, perceived financial risk, physical risk, and perception of psychological risk. Data analysis use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results indicate that there was a negative effect on financial risk, the perceived physical risk to buy an interest in functional perception, the psychological risk has no effect on purchase intention on private label product. The implications for the manager is to increase consumer buying intentions by taking into account factors such as perceptions of financial risk and perceptions of physical risk

The Use of Static Audio Visual Media in Teaching Listening Comprehension

The aim of this research was to investigate the effectiveness of using Static Audio Visual Media in teaching listening comprehension to Year-7 students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak in Academic Year 2012/2013.
