PENGARUH VARIASI WATERGLASS TERHADAP KADAR AIR DAN KADAR LEMPUNG PADA PASIR CETAK
This paper presents an effect of variation waterglass on moisture degree and clay degree in sand casting. The held as the word in sand casting used is waterglass with a variation of 0%, 15%, 25%, and 40%. Sand casting mixture on the sand river weighing 500 grams, the addition of 10 ml of water, and the addition of waterglass based on the variations that have been determined. Research carried out is descriptive research with experimental methods. The result show that the moisture degree and increasing clay degree. The higher addition of waterglass on molding sands increasing moisture degree. The resulting moisture degree is 1.50%, 5.18%, 6.48%, 7.14%. The higher addition of waterglass on molding sands increasing moisture degree. The resulting clay degree was 5.44%, 12.80%, 17.68%, 26.64%
