Acoustic interaction force between two particles immersed in a viscoelastic fluid
The interaction acoustic radiation force in a standing plane wave applied to
each small solid sphere in a two-particle system immersed in a viscoelastic
fluid is studied in a framework based on perturbation theory. In this work, the
first- and second-order perturbation theories are used in the governing
equations with considering the upper-convected maxwell model to obtain
mathematical modeling. We use the finite element method to carry out
simulations and describe the behavior of the viscoelastic fluid. The
mathematical development is validated from three literature case studies: a
one-particle system in a viscous fluid, a two-particle system in a viscous
fluid, and a one-particle system in a viscoelastic fluid. The novelty of this
study is to establish the acoustic interaction force between two spherical
particles immersed in a viscoelastic fluid. The results show that the acoustic
interaction force between two spheres is greater in a viscous fluid in
comparison with the viscoelastic fluid with the same shear viscosity. This
behavior is due to the relaxation time effect. A mathematical formula is
proposed for the acoustic interaction force between particles located close to
each other in a viscoelastic fluid
Investigating The Effect Of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Courses On The Creativity Of Students
The present study aims to investigate the effect of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) courses on the creativity of students at Isfahan’s Vocational Education Center. The research method is a quasi-experimental type. The population of the research involves all the technical vocational students of Isfahan’s ICT Center. The subjects were selected using availability sampling and include 110 students comprising 57 students in the experimental group and 53 students in the control group. The means used for collecting data was Ravens Progressive Matrices Test accounting for homogeneity among the subjects and Dr Abedi’s creativity test involving sub-tests including Fluency, Elaboration, Originality and Flexibility. The latter test was used to compare the creativity of experimental and control groups pre-testing and post testing. The analysis of the findings was carried out using Analysis of covariance at the significance level of P < %05. The results of the study indicated that while there was no significant difference between Fluency and Elaboration creativity tests, there was a significant distinction between Originality and Flexibility creativity tests. In addition, the total result of students’ creativity tests proved to be significant. Thus, it can be concluded that the educational courses of information and communication technology (ICT) have had a positive effect on the creativity of students of Isfahan’s ICT Technical Vocational Center
Attitudes towards digital gap among university students, and its relationship with educational progress and socioeconomic status
Introduction: Digital gap may exist in national scale, among organizations and other groups of society, since it is an indicative of inequality in information technology ground and communication. This study aims to investigate the attitude towards digital gap among students, and its relationship with educational progress and socio-economic status (SES) of university students at Alborz University of Medical Sciences.
Methods: This was a cross sectional analytic study. students were randomly selected according to multistage cluster method. The tools for collecting data were Davis (1989) questionnaire on attitude towards internet, and a researcher made questionnaire. The formal validity of the questionnaires is confirmed by a panel of experts, Cronbach's alpha's coefficient was also calculated. Pearson coefficient were calculated andindependent T- test was used for analyzing the data.
Result: The analysis of data indicates that there is a meaningful relationship between the attitude towards digital gap and educational progress, and also SES of the students. Furthermore, there was adifferences between the attitudes of males (48.7) and felames (46.5) toward digital gap (p=0.01).
Conclusion:There is an attitude towards digital gap in university students. Interventions are needed to close the digital gaps in studnets
The Effect of Computer Games on Students’ Critical Thinking Disposition and Educational Achievement
The main aim of this research was to investigate the effect of computer games on student’ critical thinking disposition and educational achievement. The research method was descriptive, and its type was casual-comparative. The sample included 270 female high school students in Andimeshk town selected by multistage cluster method. Ricketts questionnaire was used to test critical thinking and the researcher made questionnaires were used to test computer games. T-test and one-way ANOVA were employed to analysis of the data. The findings of the study showed that playing computer games has no significant effect on critical thinking, however, there were a significant effect of playing computer games on students’ educational achievement (P0/05). Furthermore, the results showed that the type of computer game has no significant effect on students’ disposition to critical thinking and their educational achievement. Keywords: Computer games, disposition to critical thinking, educational achievement, secondary student

The prevalence of pityriasis versicolor in the dormitories of the Lorestan University of Medical Sciences by the three methods: skin scraping, use of scotch tape and wood’s lamp
Background : Pityriasis versicolor is a chronic, recurrent and often asymptomatic infection of stratum corneum, Which is caused by lipophilic yeasts of Malassezia. Human to human transmission through direct contact is possible.
The present study aimed to assess the prevalence of pityriasis versicolor in the dormitories of the Lorestan University of Medical Sciences by the three methods: skin scraping, use of scotch tape and wood’s lamp was perfumed.
Materials and Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study,115 students in the dormitories of the university of medical sciences were studied with the three methods:skin scraping, using scotch tape and wood’s lamp.
Results: Among 115 patients, 66.94% were female and 33.05% were male. The mean age was 21.38 years.25% of boys and 11.1% of girls were affected. The prevalence of Pityriasis versicolor by the three methods was determined 15.7%.
In this study, the most common site of infection was shoulder and neck.
Conclusion: The recent study showed a high prevalence of Pityriasis versicolor in Lorestan University of Medical Sciences students .
The prevalence of pityriasis versicolor had a statistically significant difference between males and females, and was more common in females . The pairwise comparison results obtained from the three methods using the Kappa coefficient, scotch tape method was the most consistent results than the other two methods
