Pengaruh Terpaan Pemberitaan Tentang Cadar dan Interaksi Peer Group Terhadap Sikap Kepada Wanita Bercadar (di Kota Semarang)

Dewasa ini, topik mengenai cadar mengalami pasangnya. Media sebagai saluran penyebar informasi membuat berbagai pemberitaan mengenai cadar dari pemberitaan bernuansa positif hingga pemberitaan yang memuat tentang nuansa negatif turut mewarnai pemberitaan. Diikuti dengan itu, munculnya beragam responn dari masyarakat mulai mewarnai dinamika kehidupan sehari-hari. Dari sikap positif hingga adanya sikap negatif yang cenderung mendiskriminasikan cadar, Selain dilakukan sendiri, sikap ini juga dilakukan secara berkelompok dengan peer group nya. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan pemberitaan tentang cadar dan interaksi sosial peer group terhadap sikap masyarakat kepada wanita bercadar. Penelitian ini dijelaskan dapat dijelaskan dengan teori pembelajaran sosial dari Albert Bandura. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan teknik probability sampling dan multistage random sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Semarang yang diterpa pemberitaan bercadar usia 17- 40 tahun. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukan hipotesis bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara terpaan berita tentang cadar dan interaksi peer group secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap sikap masyarakat kepada wanita bercadar. Dengan tingkat kerekatan yang kuat dengan signifikansi sebesar 7,375 dan besar pengaruh terpaan berita tentang cadar dan interaksi peer group sebesar 68% terhadap sikap masyarakat

Sectoral heterogeneity in patterns of educational mismatch in tourism: a gender comparison

The study of the effects of educational mismatch has shown this phenomenon to generate inefficiencies due to a misallocation of resources. These inefficiencies are more detrimental for countries such as Spain, where education is financed to a large extent with public funds, and low-skill demanding sectors, such as tourism, have a high weight in the economy. This paper aims to study the determinants of educational mismatch from a gender perspective, analysing the sectoral heterogeneity that may arise among these determinants in four key productive branches within the Spanish tourism sub-sector, i.e., hotels, transport, intermediary services and other complementary services. For this purpose, a multinomial logit model is employed, which will be estimated separately for each sector and gender of interest, using data from the 2018 Wage Structure Survey of the Spanish National Statistics Institute. Among the results obtained, it is highlighted, firstly, that educational mismatch is not a transitory phenomenon given that it occurs both at the beginning of the individual's working career and at very different levels of permanence. Secondly, it is interesting to note the greater probability of male overeducation observed in the hotel and catering industry and female overeducation in the rest of the services analysed, the latter result possibly reflecting the occupational gender segregation experienced by women in these branches of the economy.Universidad de Málaga. This paper aims to study the determinants of educational mismatch from a gender perspective, analysing the sectoral heterogeneity that may arise among these determinants in four key productive branches within the Spanish tourism sub-sector, i.e., hospitality, transport, intermediary services (travel agencies) and other complementary services. In order to achieve this objective, we used a multinomial logit model using data from the 2018 Wage Structure Survey of the Spanish National Statistics Institute. Among the results obtained, we highlight that educational mismatch is not a transitory phenomenon. Furthermore, it is interesting to note the greater probability of male overeducation observed in the hospitality industry and female overeducation in the rest of the services analysed, this latter result is possibly a reflection of the occupational gender segregation experienced by women in these branches of the economy. Due to these results, we proposed various measures to combat occupational gender segregation in a way that favours the fight for gender equality.Universidad de Málaga. CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOUR: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

The circular economy is a top priority issue on the European green agenda. However, despite this topic having been studied for decades, there seem to be no clear ideas about how to carry out the strategies and actions that allow achieving the presupposed objectives. For this reason, this paper aims to offer a systematic literature review that might provide researchers with a synthesis paper on what has been studied so far. To achieve that, descriptive and bibliometric analyses were performed on the bibliographic data obtained from the Web of Science. That, together with the study of the most prominent extant pieces of work in the field, both historical and present, allow offering a comprehensive picture of the state of arts. Thus, the main conclusions are that there is no clear study trend and, consequently, efforts are dissipating. In addition, the problem of the budget limitation is acknowledged since it might prevent researchers from carrying out solid experiments that may allow finding general solutions to the problems derived from the implementation of circular economy strategies or actions

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DALAM AKTIVITAS FISIK DAN KELUARGA SADAR GIZI GUNA MEWUJUDKAN GERAKAN MAYARAKAT HIDUP SEHAT (GERMAS)

Di daerah dusun Pelemwulung banyak masyarakat yang belum melakukan aktivitas fisik dan masih banyak masyarakatnya yang belum mengonsumsi suplemen gizi karena masyarakat kurang tahu fungsi dari aktivitas fisik dan mengonsumsi suplemen gizi bagi keluarga.Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah untuk menginisiasi dan  memberdayakan  masyarakat dalam mewujudkan PHBS dan kadarzi melalui kegiatan aktivitas fisik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat ini dengan adanya MMD dan dilanjutkan dengan melakukan intervensi berupa senam pagi. Pada hasil intervensi didapatkan hasil yaitu: masyarakat yang masih belum sadar pentingnya melakukan aktifitas fisik. Hasil yang didapat dari aktivitas fisik bahwa tidak terdapat korelasi atau nilai p-value 0,52 (p > 0,05) yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dan perilaku artinya semakin tinggi pengetahuan maka perilaku dalam melakukan aktifitas fisik rendah. Sedangkan untuk KADARZI bahwa terdapat korelasi dengan nilai p-value 0,032 (p < 0,05) yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dan perilaku tentang KADARZI artinya semakin tinggi pengetahuan tentang KADARZI maka semakin tinggi pula perilaku KADARZI. Kesimpulan kegiatan yang dilakukan di Dusun Pelemwulung yaitu terkait dengan melakukan aktivitas fisik, dengan mengadakan kegiatan senam sehat bagi seluruh masyarakat di Dusun Pelemwulung guna tercapainya penerapan PHBS dan KADARZI dan sarannya yaitu menanamkan tingkat kesadaran dalam melakukan aktifitas fisik dan KADARZI

Assessing the Marketability of BEU as a Loungewear Brand Producing Ethically-Made and Gender-Inclusive Clothing in the Philippines

BEU is an ethical and gender-inclusive brand that aims to provide its customers with high-quality loungewear products promoting a more sustainable approach in terms of manufacturing and purchasing contemporary clothing pieces while striving for inclusivity through their brand’s motto “Be You” encouraging individuals to be who they are in the clothes they wear. BEU’s products within the market are manufactured by an ethical business: Candid Clothing. The material utilized for the production is French Terry fabric that is sourced through Tailored Projects. One of the most notable advantages of BEU is its established marketing strategies, particularly the launch of its website, which is functional and well-designed given its capacity to ease and improve the process of communication between the brand and its customers. As a sole proprietor business, their starting capital of Php 73,140 was acquired through the financial contribution of BEU’s shareholders. The expenses and transactions made after the launching of the business for resources, manufacturing costs, and packaging expenses are managed thoroughly; including the projected and actual sales monitored monthly for a better understanding of the business’ operation and sales performance. Mesotelioma Peritoneal Maligno - Um relato de caso

Resumo Introdução: o Mesotelioma Peritoneal Maligno (MPM) é uma doença rara e letal com variável grau de agressividade. A morbimortalidade está relacionada com a carga de doença tumoral e a sobrevida mediana sem tratamento é de cerca de 12 meses. Quimioterapia baseada em cisplatina é o tratamento padrão nos casos de doença avançada irressecável, ou nos pacientes que declinam cirurgia, associado a quimioterapia hipertérmica intraperitoneal (HIPEC). Desenvolvimento: paciente, 54 anos, com histórico de perda ponderal, desconforto e aumento progressivo de volume abdominal, com imagem evidenciando espessamento peritoneal difuso e ascite, foi submetido a laparoscopia e biópsia com achados positivos para MPM, sendo realizada quimioterapia de 3ª linha com cisplatina e gemcitabine, seguido de manutenção com gemcitabine, apresentando resposta completa, sendo, portanto, caso de resposta excepcional e atípica para doença. Considerações finais: Apesar dos fatores de prognóstico desfavoráveis e rápida progressão aos esquemas iniciais, o paciente do caso apresentou melhora clínica importante e ausência de doença mensurável com esquema de cisplatina e gemcitabine, seguido de gemcitabine de manutenção. Comparado com dados vigentes na literatura, tal resposta é excepcional e atípica, haja vista as características biológicas tumorais da doença. Palavras-chave: Neoplasias Peritoneais; Oncologia; Antineoplásicos Alquilantes; Antimitóticos Abstract Objective: Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma (MPM) is a rare and lethal disease with variable degree of aggressiveness. Morbidity and mortality are related to the burden of tumor disease and median survival without treatment is about 12 months. Cisplatin-based chemotherapy is the standard of treatment in cases of advanced unresectable disease or in patients who decline surgery associated with intraperitoneal hyperthermic chemotherapy (HIPEC). Development: a 54-year-old patient with a history of discomfort, progressive increase in abdominal volume and weight loss, with an image showing diffuse peritoneal thickening and ascites, underwent laparoscopy and biopsy with positive findings for MPM, undergoing 3rd-line chemotherapy with cisplatin and gemcitabine, followed by maintenance with gemcitabine, showing a complete response, therefore being an exceptional and atypical response to disease. Final considerations: Despite the unfavorable prognostic factors and rapid progression to the initial regimens, the patient showed significant clinical improvement and absence of measurable disease with cisplatin and gemcitabine regimen, followed by maintenance gemcitabine. Compared with data from the literature, exceptional and atypical presentation, due to the tumor's biological characteristics of the disease.
