Advertising in Spain as a marketing element: limits
The new Criminal Code offense advertising includes among its provisions, noting the growing risk generated by the creative audacity of some advertising, for those limits, socially accepted, hype, do not stop at what misleading, creating confusion or the good faith of consumers. Advertising self-regulation through the application of codes of ethics is a palliative to avoid judicial remedy, while denoting that conscious deception or breach of the rules governing advertising or lawful commerce is accepted by some without the least scruple. Hiding behind freedom of speech is introduced into the market much information contaminated. If not detected early, the risks to consumers are deceived many, the same as for the fair trader

Measuring the weak mixing angle with the P2 experiment at MESA
The P2 experiment in Mainz aims to measure the weak mixing angle in electron-
proton scattering to a precision of 0.13 %. In order to suppress uncertainties
due to proton structure and contributions from box graphs, both a low average
momentum transfer of GeV and a low beam energy
of 155 MeV are chosen. In order to collect the enormous statistics required for
this measurement, the new Mainz Energy Recovery Superconducting Accelerator
(MESA) is being constructed. These proceedings describe the motivation for the
measurement, the experimental and accelerator challenges and how we plan to
tackle them.Comment: Proceedings of the PhiPsi15, Sep. 23-26, 2015, Hefei, Chin
Library of high and mid-resolution spectra in the CaII H & K, Hα, Hβ, NaI D_1, D_2, and HeI D3 line regions of F, G, K and M field stars
In this work we present spectroscopic observations centered in the spectral lines most widely used as optical indicators of chromospheric activity (Hα, Hβ,
CaII H & K, and HeI D_3) in a sample of F, G, K and M chromospherically inactive stars. The spectra have been obtained with the aim of providing a library of high and mid-resolution spectra to be used in the application of the spectral subtraction technique to obtain the active-chromosphere contribution to these lines in chromospherically active single and binary stars. This library can also be used for spectral classification purposes. A digital version with all the spectra is available via ftp and the World Wide Web (WWW) in both ASCII and FITS formats
Dynamic funcitonal reorganizations and relationships with working memory performance in healthy aging
In recent years, several theories have been proposed in attempts to identify the neural mechanisms underlying successful cognitive aging. Old subjects show increased neural activity during the performance of tasks, mainly in prefrontal areas, which is interpreted as a compensatory mechanism linked to functional brain efficiency. Moreover, resting-state studies have concluded that elders show disconnection or disruption of large-scale functional networks. We used functional MRI during resting-state and a verbal n-back task with different levels of memory load in a cohort of young and old healthy adults to identify patterns of networks associated with working memory and brain default mode. We found that the disruption of resting-state networks in the elderly coexists with task-related overactivations of certain brain areas and with reorganizations within these functional networks. Moreover, elders who were able to activate additional areas and to recruit a more bilateral frontal pattern within the task-related network achieved successful performance on the task. We concluded that the balanced and plastic reorganization of brain networks underlies successful cognitive aging. This observation allows the integration of several theories that have been proposed to date regarding the aging brain
Late-type members of young stellar kinematic groups - I. Single stars
This is the first paper of a series aimed at studying the properties of late-type members of young stellar kinematic groups. We concentrate our study on classical young moving groups such as the Local Association (Pleiades moving group, 20-150 Myr), IC 2391 supercluster (35 Myr), Ursa Major group (Sirius supercluster, 300 Myr), and Hyades supercluster (600 Myr), as well as on recently identified groups such as the Castor moving group (200 Myr). In this paper we compile a preliminary list of single late-type possible members of some of these young stellar kinematic groups. Stars are selected from previously established members of stellar kinematic groups based on photometric and kinematic properties as well as from candidates based on other criteria such as their level of chromospheric activity, rotation rate and lithium abundance. Precise measurements of proper motions and parallaxes taken from the Hipparcos Catalogue, as well as from the Tycho-2 Catalogue, and published radial velocity measurements are used to calculate the Galactic space motions (U, V W) and to apply Eggen's kinematic criteria in order to determine the membership of the selected stars to the different groups. Additional criteria using age-dating methods for late-type stars will be applied in forthcoming papers of this series. A further study of the list of stars compiled here could lead to a better understanding of the chromospheric activity and their age evolution, as well as of the star formation history in the solar neighbourhood. In addition, these stars are also potential search targets for direct imaging detection of substellar companions
Synthesis of β‐ 3 H‐mitotane for use in a rapid assay for mitotane metabolism
A 3 H + ‐release method has been developed for the assay of β‐hydroxylation of the adrenolytic drug mitotane. β‐ 3 H‐mitotane was synthesized by the reduction of 1‐(2‐chlorophenyl)‐1‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐2,2,2‐trichloroethane by an aluminium‐Hg 2 Cl 2 couple in the presence of 3 H 2 O. For β‐hydroxylation of mitotane, the 3 H + ‐release assay is more efficient and sensitive than a method utilizing 14 C‐mitotane and chromatographic separation of metabolites by HPLC. The 3 H + ‐release assay has been used to evaluate the ability of adrenal tumors to metabolize mitotane via the β‐ hydroxylation route.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/90382/1/2580360204_ftp.pd
