Tikus putih KI, diberi ransum CP 521; KII, diberi ransum CP 521 + minyak kelapa 10% (ransum lemak tinggi) + vitamin E 50 lU; KIII , diberi ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 100 lU; KIV, diberi ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 200 lU; dan KV, diberi ransum lemak tinggi + vitamin E 400 lU. Perlakuan dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan.

This paper presents the proposed vision-based alignment control system for a Mini Heavy Loaded Forklift Autonomous Guided Vehicle (MHeLFAGV) in heavy copper spool picking process. This task has been divided into two parts; image processing for spool inspection and switching control input for MHeLFAGV alignment. In image processing part, a vision camera is used and programmed to do marking processing using Haarcascade method for spool center capturing. Vision will capture images in real-time then automatically analyzing for marking the targeted spool in 1000milisecond and continuously sending the coordination of between camera and the targeted spool. On the other hand, proposed alignment control system module is developed to translate the information from the camera to the mecanum wheel driven sequences in order move both Cartesian motions of MHeLFAGV, x, and y-axis to align this vehicle and its forklifter to be at the center of the copper spool. The indoor experiment was done on the MHeLFAGV system on detecting the targeted copper spool in front. The test validated the proposed vision-based control when vehicle able to appearing the target spool as input from the vision camera

Vision-based Object’s Shape Determination for Robot Alignment

This study provides vision-based system solutions for a peg-in-hole problem faced by a fork lift like robot used to transport copper wire spools from a rack, in which the spools are arranged side by side to a specified place. The copper wire spool (a cylindrical object on which the copper wire is wound and have a rim at each end) is held by 3 cylindrical shafts; one of the shafts is inserted through the center hole of the spool and another two shafts is held at the bottom of the spool. The aim of the development of vision-based system is to enable the robot to pick up the spool autonomously. To enable the center cylindrical shaft to be inserted nicely through the center hole of the spool, the center point of the spool must be on the center line of the camera Field of View (FOV). The problem to be solved in this study is how to determine that the center point is overlapped with the center line of the camera FOV. Firstly, a circle with the same radius of the spool’s rim was created at the center of the camera frame on screen, and then the spool’s front rim was tracked until it is overlapped with the circle on the screen image to ensure it is on the line of the camera FOV. However, the scope of this paper is limited to copper wire spool detection, and the confirmation of the front rim overlapping conditions is based on real time video processing. The proposed system uses Circular Hough Transform (CHT), binarization, morphology and edge detection of the sampled images from real-time video recording. A Logitech Webcam C270, which has an autofocus camera and HD view with lower price is used. By integrating the Logitech webcam for windows with MATLAB R2016a, all computations, programming and processing of this project are done using the MATLAB. Several experiments had been carried out and from the result obtained, the system is able to track the spool and determine the correct position of the robot to pick up the spool

A whole genome analyses of genetic variants in two Kelantan Malay individuals

The sequencing of two members of the Royal Kelantan Malay family genomes will provide insights on the Kelantan Malay whole genome sequences. The two Kelantan Malay genomes were analyzed for the SNP markers associated with thalassemia and Helicobacter pylori infection. Helicobacter pylori infection was reported to be low prevalence in the north-east as compared to the west coast of the Peninsular Malaysia and beta-thalassemia was known to be one of the most common inherited and genetic disorder in Malaysia.By combining SNP information from literatures, GWAS study and NCBI ClinVar, 18 unique SNPs were selected for further analysis. From these 18 SNPs, 10 SNPs came from previous study of Helicobacter pylori infection among Malay patients, 6 SNPs were from NCBI ClinVar and 2 SNPs from GWAS studies. The analysis reveals that both Royal Kelantan Malay genomes shared all the 10 SNPs identified by Maran (Single Nucleotide Polymorphims (SNPs) genotypic profiling of Malay patients with and without Helicobacter pylori infection in Kelantan, 2011) and one SNP from GWAS study. In addition, the analysis also reveals that both Royal Kelantan Malay genomes shared 3 SNP markers; HBG1 (rs1061234), HBB (rs1609812) and BCL11A (rs766432) where all three markers were associated with beta-thalassemia.Our findings suggest that the Royal Kelantan Malays carry the SNPs which are associated with protection to Helicobacter pylori infection. In addition they also carry SNPs which are associated with beta-thalassemia. These findings are in line with the findings by other researchers who conducted studies on thalassemia and Helicobacter pylori infection in the non-royal Malay population.Wan Khairunnisa Wan Juhari, Nur Aida Md Tamrin, Mohd Hanif Ridzuan Mat Daud, Hatin Wan Isa, Nurfazreen Mohd Nasir, Sathiya Maran, Nur Shafawati Abdul Rajab, Khairul Bariah Ahmad Amin Noordin, Nik Norliza Nik Hassan, Rick Tearle, Rozaimi Razali, Amir Feisal Merican and Bin Alwi Zilfali

This study was aimed to obtain information on pet owners understanding towards animal health control in the City of Banda Aceh. The survey was conducted by interview pet owners those visited Veterinary clinics in the City of Banda Aceh. A number of 51 pet owners were included as respondent in this study. The interview was conducted using a structure questionnaire, which contained both open and closed questions. The pet owners were interviewed for the knowledge, attitude, and practice toward animal health control. Data obtained in this study were analysed descriptively, continued with chi-square test. The results showed that most of the owners interviewed in three animal clinics in the City of Banda Aceh were keeping cats as their pet animals (98.04%), and a few proportion of them were the owner of dogs. At proportion of 60.78% of the pet owners were women, and men only 39.22%. Statistical analysis showed that there were significant association (p<0.05) between knowledge, attitude, and practice towards animal health control of the owners those visited the three clinics in the City of Banda Aceh. Based on the results of this study it is concluded that most of the pet owners those visited veterinary clinics in Banda Aceh have good knowledge, attitude, and practice towards animal health control
