The objectivities of the problem are to know the language style have been in the article of deutschland magazine and to know the kinds of style of language that usually the author using in written deutschland magazine. This research using qualitative descriptive are display data about the words and sentence finds in the articles of Deutschland magazine. The data analyse by the style of language. The result of the research shows the language style using in the article are of language hyperbola, allusion, zeugma, figurative, anticipate, anticlimax katabasis, paralelisme, climax.     Glass powders and reactive silicone binder: Interactions and application to additive manufacturing of bioactive glass-ceramic scaffolds

    A novel concept for the additive manufacturing of three-dimensional glass-ceramic scaffolds, to be used for tissue engineering applications, was based on fine glass powders mixed with a reactive binder, in the form of a commercial silicone. The powders consisted of ‘silica-defective glass’ specifically designed to react, upon firing in air, with the amorphous silica yielded by the binder. By silica incorporation, the glass was intended to reach the composition of an already known CaONa2OB2O3SiO2 system. Silica from the binder provided up to 15 wt% of the total silica. With the same overall formulation, silicone-glass powder mixtures led to nearly the same phase assemblage formed by the reference system, crystallizing into wollastonite (CaSiO3) and Ca-borate (CaB2O4). Samples from silicone-glass powder mixtures exhibited an excellent shape retention after firing, which was later exploited in highly porous reticulated scaffolds, obtained by means of direct ink writing (DIW)

    YAP/TAZ deficiency reprograms macrophage phenotype and improves infarct healing and cardiac function after myocardial infarction

    Adverse cardiac remodeling after myocardial infarction (MI) causes structural and functional changes in the heart leading to heart failure. The initial post-MI pro-inflammatory response followed by reparative or anti-inflammatory response is essential for minimizing the myocardial damage, healing, and scar formation. Bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) are recruited to the injured myocardium and are essential for cardiac repair as they can adopt both pro-inflammatory or reparative phenotypes to modulate inflammatory and reparative responses, respectively. Yes-associated protein (YAP) and transcriptional coactivator with PDZ-binding motif (TAZ) are the key mediators of the Hippo signaling pathway and are essential for cardiac regeneration and repair. However, their functions in macrophage polarization and post-MI inflammation, remodeling, and healing are not well established. Here, we demonstrate that expression of YAP and TAZ is increased in macrophages undergoing pro-inflammatory or reparative phenotype changes. Genetic deletion of YAP/TAZ leads to impaired pro-inflammatory and enhanced reparative response. Consistently, YAP activation enhanced pro-inflammatory and impaired reparative response. We show that YAP/TAZ promote pro-inflammatory response by increasing interleukin 6 (IL6) expression and impede reparative response by decreasing Arginase-I (Arg1) expression through interaction with the histone deacetylase 3 (HDAC3)-nuclear receptor corepressor 1 (NCoR1) repressor complex. These changes in macrophages polarization due to YAP/TAZ deletion results in reduced fibrosis, hypertrophy, and increased angiogenesis, leading to improved cardiac function after MI. Also, YAP activation augmented MI-induced cardiac fibrosis and remodeling. In summary, we identify YAP/TAZ as important regulators of macrophage-mediated pro-inflammatory or reparative responses post-MI

    How do Muslim service users, caregivers, and community members in Malappuram, Kerala, use their faith to address the challenges associated with mental ill health?

    Our aim was to explore the role religion and spiritual beliefs play in dealing with the challenges associated with mental ill health among the Muslim community in Malappuram, Kerala. Twenty-four interviews were conducted with patients of Islamic faith diagnosed with a mental health condition (n = 10) in urban (Ponnani) and rural (Vailathur) area of Malappuram, a Muslim majority district in Kerala, their family carers (n = 8) and community members (n = 6). Four key themes were derived, namely (1) Attribution to supernatural factors, (2) Relying on “God’s will”, (3) Prayer, and (4) Traditional healing. Faith was seen to be a prerequisite for any treatment, including modern medicine, to work. Even within a single faith group there can be considerable variation in belief and practice, with more pious participants disapproving of the reliance on local traditional healers and belief systems, highlighting the value of paying attention to the detail of local beliefs and practices

    Polyphosphate Accumulation by Marine Bacteria

    Phosphate (Pi) is one among the most important essential residues in maintenance and inheritance of life, with far diverse physiological role as structural, functional and energy transduction. Phosphate accumulation in wastewaters containing run off of fertilizers and industrial discharges is a global problem that results in algal blooms in bays, lakes and waterways. Currently available methods for removing phosphates from wastewater are based primarily on polyP accumulation by the activated sludge bacteria. PolyP plays a critical role in several environmental and biotechnological problems. Possible relation of interaction between polyP accumulation phenomenon, the low biomass, low Pi uptake, and varying results obtained in response to the impact of sodium chloride, pH, temperature, various inorganic salts and additional carbon sources studied, are all intriguing observations in the present investigation. The results of the present study have evidenced very clearly the scope for potential strains of bacteria from both sea water and marine sediments which could be exploited both for Pi removal in wastewater released by industries and intensive aquaculture practices in to the aquatic environment as well as to harness the potential strains for industrial production of polyP which was wide range of applications

    Crystal structure of 4,5-dibromophenanthrene

    The synthesis and crystal structure of the title compound, C14H8Br2, is described. The molecule is positioned on a twofold rotation axis and the asymmetric unit consists of half a molecule with the other half being generated by symmetry. The presence of two large bromine atoms in the bay region significantly distorts the molecule from planarity and the mean planes of the two terminal rings of the phenanthrene system are twisted away from each other by 28.51 (14)°. The torsion angle between the two C—Br bonds is 74.70 (14)° and the distance between the two Br atoms is 3.2777 (13) Å. The molecules pack in layers in the crystal, with the centroids of the central rings of the phenanthrene units in adjacent layers separated by a distance of 4.0287 (10) Å. These centroids are shifted by 2.266 (6) Å relative to each other, indicating slippage in the stacking arrangement. Furthermore, the distance between the centroids of the terminal and central rings of the phenanthrene units in adjacent layers is slightly shorter at 3.7533 (19) Å. While all of the molecules within each layer are oriented in the same direction, those in adjacent layers are oriented in the opposite direction, leading to anti-parallel stacks
