Roteirização e programação de veículos com carga completa em viagens de longa distância

Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro Tecnológico, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção, Florianópolis, 2015.O objetivo desta tese consiste em resolver o problema de roteamento e programação de caminhões, com restrições de horário de trabalho do motorista profissional impostas pela legislação (HOS), considerando carga completa e viagens de longa distância, de modo a minimizar os custos totais de operação. Diferentemente de outros trabalhos encontrados na literatura, nesta tese a rota e os locais de parada são determinados concomitantemente com a programação da operação. Este problema foi modelado através de um grafo, para o qual três algoritmos de busca foram aplicados. Testes realizados mostram que o método de solução proposto reage adequadamente às mudanças realizadas nos custos dos serviços oferecidos nos diversos locais de parada existentes, tanto no que se refere a escolha da rota, como dos locais em que as paradas deverão ser realizadas. Os resultados obtidos indicam, ainda, que soluções de mínimo custo podem ser encontradas com baixo tempo computacional.Abstract : The main goal of this thesis is to solve the problem of routing and scheduling of trucks, with professional driver working time restrictions imposed by legislation (HOS), considering fully loaded trucks and long-distance work journeys, in order to minimize the total costs of operation. Differently from other studies found in the literature, in this thesis the route and stopping points locations are determined concomitantly with the scheduling. This problem was modeled by a graph, for which three search algorithms were applied. Tests show that the proposed method reacts appropriately to changes made in the costs of services provided under the various stopping places, both as regards the choice of route, such as the locations where the stops will be performed. The results also indicate that low-cost solutions can be found with low computational time

Feasibility analysis of uav in dengue control

There are intensifying actions to combat the mosquito Aedes which is admittedly responsible for the transmission of diseases: chikungunya, dengue and zika. Among these dengue is a recurring problem that affects the entire world, especially the tropical areas. It is considered one of the world’s greatest public health problems by the World Health Organization, which estimates that approximately 390 million people get infected by this disease each year worldwide. In Brazil, since the first report of the disease in 80’s, dengue has continually occurred, alternating epidemic periods with peaks of increasing disease. Therefore, this study aims to assess the feasibility of using unmanned aerial vehicle, popularly known as drone, in aid of the dengue control program executed in Maringá - PR. In conclusion the use of this aircraft is feasible, since it is an economically attractive investment due to its low cost against the annual investment with manpower

Quality of technical assistance: economic evaluation of the quality in technical assistance processes

This study aims to analyze the economic feasibility of hiring new technicians in order to meet the existing demand for technical assistance. For this, a sensitivity analysis was performed and the data was collected in a qualitative and quantitative way. After that interviews were carried out and quality tools were applied, such as: brainstorms, cause and effect diagram and also financial and cost data was collected during the process. Thus, it was possible to identify that the main causes of the problem is the unavailability of technicians. Thus, an initial solution was developed to create financial configurations to assess which decision would be most plausible. Finally, the best performance scenario was to hire only one new technician, as it maximizes the company's net profit and the representative percentage of that profit from the generated revenue; it was also considered to what extent the solution could be applied. This research is important not only for the studied company, but also for others that have similar problems and need instructions to create a direction for a solution

LOGÍSTICA VERDE: CONCEITUAÇÃO E DIRECIONAMENTOS PARA APLICAÇÃO

Environmental sustainability of operations is an increasing concern and there are many paths for addressing this matter. On Logistics, Green Logistic or Ecologistic is still recent and lacks ripening to handle with its environmental impacts. Its conceptual body and ways of application are not clear yet. In addition, there is often a misconception with other terms, like Reverse Logistic. This paper aims make Green Logistics concepts clear, and driving to its practice. As research method, Systematic Review of literature and Bibliometrics were conducted. Beyond conceptualization, this paper brings a brief historic of the theme, identifies technologies and strategies for application and report case studies.A sustentabilidade ambiental das operações é uma preocupação que ganha proporção a cada dia e há muitas vertentes que procuram respostas a esta questão. Na Logística, uma vertente ainda bastante recente e que necessita de amadurecimento para lidar com seus impactos ambientais é a Logística Verde ou Eco-logística. Seu o corpo conceitual e as formas de aplicação ainda não estão muito claros, e é frequente a confusão com outros conceitos, como Logística Reversa. Neste contexto, este trabalho visa conceituar a Logística Verde, diferenciando-a de outros conceitos e buscando direcionamentos para sua aplicação. Para construir este referencial, foi utilizados os métodos da revisão bibliográfica sistemática, acompanhada de estudo bibliométrico dos resultados encontrados. Além da conceituação, a partir dos estudos identificados, foi possível traçar um breve histórico do tema, identificar tecnologias e estratégias para sua implantação, além de estudos de caso. Desta forma, este trabalho pode ser considerado uma “porta de entrada” ao assunto em língua portuguesa

Using multi-criteria analysis for smart city assessment

Urban centers have been under a new concept of city. Smart Cities are, in a nutshell, organized communities that feature high communication technology and conscious investments in sustainability, providing dynamic and safe environments. This paper presents a methodology to assess and rank Smart Cities based on a multi-criteria decision-making process. Methodologies that do not consider a pondered approach and filter for specific goals are commonly found in the literature, once there is a great number of criteria involved in these analyses. This work proposes filtering the criteria, considering each specific evaluation and its objectives. Our methodology is based on a multi-criteria analysis and uses AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to support the process of weights definition and MACBAC (Multi-Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison) in an application with compensatory characteristics. Through this study, it is possible to conduct the assessment of Smart Cities according to its multiple contexts, viz. its location, decision-makers and the objectives of the analysis. All in all, this research presents novelty related to the organization of the evaluation in accord to the expected resolution and a pondered approach with reduced number of criteria, making the analysis very straightforward.publicad

CIDADES RESILIENTES: UM MODELO DE AÇÕES INOVADORAS VOLTADO À EVENTOS HIDROLÓGICOS

Hydrological disasters driven by climatic events have become more frequent, being complex obstacles to the development of more effective tools and action plans in the cities of Paraná. Thus, to promote improvements to the management system, this work has as main objective to strengthen resilience policies by proposing innovative actions to overcome risks and vulnerabilities in coping with future hydrological events. For this, a systematic review of the literature was performed through Methodi Ordinatio and by a model constructed from the DMAIC methodology. In the systematic review, knowledge gaps focused on the theme in question were found, and the use of the DMAIC methodology proved satisfactory to compile the information raised and also to build the model, seeking to collaborate for a clear and strategic long-term vision in the context of resilience in the cities of Paraná.Os desastres hidrológicos movidos por eventos climáticos têm se tornado mais frequentes, sendo obstáculos complexos para o desenvolvimento de ferramentas e planos de ações mais efetivos nas cidades paranaenses. Assim, para promover melhorias ao sistema de gestão, esse trabalho tem por objetivo principal fortalecer as políticas de resiliência propondo ações inovadoras para superar os riscos e vulnerabilidades no enfrentamento à eventos hidrológicos futuros. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão sistemática da literatura por meio do Methodi Ordinatio e por um modelo construído a partir da metodologia DMAIC. Na revisão sistemática, encontrou-se lacunas de conhecimento voltados ao tema em questão, e o uso da metodologia DMAIC se mostrou satisfatório para compilar as informações levantadas e também, para a construção do modelo, buscando colaborar para uma visão clara e estratégica a longo prazo no contexto de resiliência nas cidades paranaenses

A indústria 4.0: uma revisão sobre os impactos e as modificações na dinâmica de trabalho do modelo atual

Pretende-se com este artigo discutir e apresentar definições, benefícios e modificações de cargos provenientes da era da quarta revolução industrial, denominada como indústria 4.0. O conceito da indústria 4.0 está baseado na integração de diversas tecnologias inovadoras revolucionando a forma com que os processos são realizados nas organizações. Como em revoluções industriais ocorridas no decorrer da história, a indústria 4.0 tem provocado impactos e modificações no modelo atual de produção e na dinâmica do trabalho, assim como provocará adaptações nos sistemas trabalhistas. Com o desenvolvimento da quarta revolução industrial, temos uma nova realidade produtiva, onde tudo dentro de uma indústria estará conectado para realizar a melhor tomada de decisão com relação à produção, ao custo e à segurança. Todavia, esta transição do modelo atual de trabalho, em decorrência da era da indústria 4.0, exigirá um grande aprendizado e uma rápida capacitação por parte do trabalhador. Diferentes tipos de empregos serão impactados de maneira específica a sua natureza, sendo que estes impactos dependem de categorias e do setor industrial em si. É imprescindível a realização de uma avaliação sobre os impactos que a indústria 4.0 proporcionará na dinâmica de trabalho
