    Modeling of mass transfer and chemical reactions in a bubble column reactor using a discrete bubble model

    A 3D discrete bubble model is adopted to investigate complex behavior involving hydrodynamics, mass transfer and chemical reactions in a gas-liquid bubble column reactor. In this model a continuum description is adopted for the liquid phase and additionally each individual bubble is tracked in a Lagrangian framework, while accounting for bubble-bubble and bubble-wall interactions via an encounter model. The mass transfer rate is calculated for each individual bubble using a surface renewal model accounting for the instantaneous and local properties of the liquid phase in its vicinity. The distributions in space of chemical species residing in the liquid phase are computed from the coupled species balances considering the mass transfer from bubbles and reactions between the species. The model has been applied to simulate chemisorption of CO2\ud bubbles in NaOH solutions. Our results show that apart from hydrodynamics behavior, the model is able to predict the bubble size distribution as well as temporal and spatial variations of each chemical species involved

    Perkembangan Gerak Dasar Anak di Masa Pandemi

     This study aims to determine the development of children's basic movements during the covid-19 pandemic at TK Negeri Pembina Lengayang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects are B1 class children's. Data collection technique followed the steps of Miles Huberman , namaely; 1) data collection, 2) data reduction, 3) data presentation and 4) verification. While the data validation technique used is a triangulation technique. The results of the  study show that, first the basic movements during the covid-19 pandemic in the coach is focused on lokomotor, movements and manipulative movements. Second, the teacher stimulates children's basic movements with gymnastics, games during the pandemic in learning activities. It can be concluded that children's basic movements continue to develop during the pandemic, but not all are stimulated properly. Keywords: Child's basic movement, Covid-19 pandemi

    Determining the Quality of English Teacher-Made Test: How Excellent is Excellent?

    Many studies have been conducted on evaluating the quality of a teacher-made test. Item analysis is crucial for making a good test, and improving test items. In response to the advantages of item analysis, this study looks at the theoretical and practical benefits of item analysis. The objectives were to know and to describe the extent of the quality of the English test items concerning difficulty level and discriminating power. This research used descriptive quantitative analysis. A total of 171 respondents of second-year students at MAN 1 Kota Tangerang Selatan 2017/2018 academic year were included in this study. The findings indicate that the English mid-term test has 24 acceptable items (80%) from the quality excellent, good, and satisfactory. Then, three items (10%) have poor quality, and three items (10%) have very poor quality, or in the negative value on discrimination index to the extent that the items are eliminated. It is proven by statistical data that they fail to distinguish between students who are knowledgeable and those students who are not on the base of how well they know the materials that have been tested

    Dadan Nurdiansyah Tujuan yang diangkat pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas two finger grip dengan three finger grip terhadap akurasi overhand throw pada posisi infield dalam olahraga Softball. Kegunaan dari hasil penelitian ini secara teoritis dapat digunakan sebagai sarana untuk memperkaya dan mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan, khususnya untuk latihan guna meningkatan akurasi lemparan Softball. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah klub Softball Putra Bumi Asri Kabupaten Bandung sebanyak 20 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan uji signifikansi kesamaan dua rata-rata (satu pihak) diperoleh yaitu three finger grip lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan two finger grip terhadap akurasi overhand throw pada posisi infield dalam olahraga Softball. *Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Kepelatihan Angkatan Olahraga 2010 FPOK UPI Bandung. The purpose of this research was appointed to determine the effectiveness of two finger grip with three finger grip against the overhand throw accuracy on the infield position in the Sport of Softball. The usefulness of the results of this research can theoretically be used as a means of enriching and developing science, especially for the exercise in order to improve the accuracy of the Softball throw. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. Sampling techniques in the study using a purposive sampling technique.     Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji masalah peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa sebelum dan sesudah belajar melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan TIK. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain kelompok kontrol non ekivalen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V pada dua kecamatan di kabupaten Subang, Sample penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V salah satu sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Subang Kabupaten Subang dan salah satu sekolah dasar yang terletak di Kecamatan Jalancagak Kabupaten Subang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa instrumen tes, analisis kuantitatif dilakukan terhadap rata-rata pretes dan postes dengan menggunakan Uji-t. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian, menunjukan bahwa data pretes tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematis antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan TIK dan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model direct teaching. Diketahui pula bahwa pada hasil analisis data posttes, kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan TIK lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model direct teaching. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem based learning berbantuan TIK memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. Pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan TIK dapat menjadi alternatif model pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan di Sekolah Dasar. ---------- This study aims to assess the problem of improving the ability of students' mathematical connections before and after learning through learning model Problem Based Learning ICT-supported. This research is a quasi experimental with non equivalent control group design. The study population is a fifth grade elementary school students in two district of Subang. The sample consisted of a class V one of the main elementary school in the District Subang and one elementary school in the District Jalancagak. The instrument used in the form of test instruments. Quantitative analysis was performed on the average pretest and posttest by using t-test. Based on the results of the study, showed that the data pretest there is no difference between the mathematical connection ability to obtain teaching students with learning model of problem-based learning and ICT-supported learning students who received direct teaching model. Note also that the results of the data analisis posttest, mathematical connection ability to obtain teaching students with learning model of ICT-based learning problems better than students who received direct model of learning by teaching. Thus concluded that the problem based learning model of ICT-supported learning have a positive influence on the ability of students' mathematical connections.     Complex formation and enantioselectivity studies of triazole fungicide and organophosphorus pesticide enantiomers using capillary electrophoresis

    Several cyclodextrin modified-micellar electrokinetic chromatography (CDMEKC) methods were developed for the successful triazole fungicides separation. In the first part, an efficient method was developed for the simultaneous enantioseparation of cyproconazole (4 stereoisomer), bromuconazole (4 stereoisomer) and diniconazole (2 stereisomer) enantiomers using CD-MEKC with a dual mixture of neutral cyclodextrins as chiral selector. The best simultaneous separation of cyproconazole, bromuconazole, and diniconazole enantiomers was achieved with a mixture of 27 mM HP-β-CD and 3 mM HP-γ-CD in 25 mM phosphate buffer (pH 3.0) containing 40 mM sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) and 15% iso-propanol as organic modifier. Complete separation of 10 stereoisomer of triazole fungicides were obtained in a single run with good resolution (Rs 1.74“26.31) and high peak efficiency (N > 400 000). In the second part of the study, enantioseparation of hexaconazole, penconazole, myclobutanil, and triadimefon was investigated. Simultaneous enantioseparation of penconazole, myclobutanil, and triadimefon was achieved under acidic condition (pH 3.0) using 25 mM phosphate buffer, 50 mM SDS, and 30 mM HP-γ-CD, with Rs greater than 0.9 whereas, simultaneous enantioseparation of hexaconazole, penconazole, and myclobutanil was successfully achieved under neutral condition (pH 7.0) using 25 mM phosphate buffer, 40 mM SDS, and 40 mM HP-γ-CD, with Rs greater than1.6. In order to improve detection sensitivity, on-line preconcentration technique was investigated. It was found that sweeping technique as an on-line preconcentration technique improved the detection sensitivity of the enantioseparation of cyproconazole, bromuconazole, and diniconazole by 30 to 60-fold, with good repeatabilities in the migration time, peak area and peak height were obtained with RSDs in the range of 0.08“0.32%, 0.03“ 2.44%, and 2.13“8.44% respectively. Furthermore, sweeping technique improved the detection sensitivity of the enantioseparation of hexaconazole, penconazole and myclobutanil by 62- to 67-fold. Good repeatabilities in the migration time, peak area and peak height were obtained with RSDs in the range of 2.39“3.90%, 1.96€“6.15%, and 2.80“6.64% respectively. Finally, the formation constant of diniconazole enantiomers with HP-γ-CD under neutral and acidic condition was investigated using CD-MEKC

    EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KANJI DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN WINDS PRO EMULATOR GAME NAZOTTE OBOERU

    Dalam mempelajari huruf Jepang, ada huruf yang disebut kanji. Sebagai bahasa asing, menurut orang yang belajar bahasa Jepang, huruf kanji sulit dipelajari karena banyak dan bentuknya bermacam-macam. Maka dari itu, diperlukan suatu cara agar pembelajar mudah mengingat huruf kanji. Salah satunya adalah menggunakan media game Nazotte Oboeru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pembelajaran huruf kanji dengan menggunakan media game Nazotte Oboeru dan untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan game Nazotte Oboeru pada pembelajaran kanji. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre-test Post-test Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas A tingkat tiga jurusan pendidikan bahasa Jepang tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes dan angket. Dari hasil analisis data, diketahui db = 22, t-hitung = 7,77dan t-tabel pada taraf 5% = 1,1 dan pada taraf signifikansi 1% = 0,22. Berarti, t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel. Hasil rata-rata siswa sebelum diberi perlakuan 34,25 menjadi 70,39 setelah diberi perlakuan. Dengan demikian, dapat diartikan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan mengingat huruf kanji siswa sebelum dan setelah menggunakan game Nazotte Oboeru. Dari hasil angket, sebagian besar siswa menganggap game Nazotte Oboeru menarik dan huruf kanji menjadi mudah diingat. Tetapi, Sebagian mahasiswa mengalami masalah dalam penulisan kanji didalam game ini karena jawaban berupa hiragana atau kanji ditulis dengan menggunakan pointer. ;--- In learning Japanese alphabet, there is Kanji alphabet. According to people who learn Japanese language as foreign language, Kanji alphabet is one of alphabet that is difficult to be learned because of its kinds and forms. Thus, it is needed a kind of methods in order to make learner easier in memorizing Kanji alphabet. One of methods in memorizing this alphabet is Nazotte Oboeru game. This research is conducted to figure out the result of learning Kanji alphabet by using Nazotte Oboeru game and to obtain strength and weakness of using this method. Quasi-experiment was used in this study as the research method and One Group Pre-test Post-test design acted as its design. The samples of this study were the Class A students of Japanese language department of learning periode 2013/2014. And the instruments which were used in this study were test and questionnaire. Based on analyzing the data, it was found that db= 22, t-count= 7,77 and t-table at 5%= 1,1 and also the significance level 1%= 0,2. It can be said that t-count was bigger than t-table. The average result of pre-test was 34,25 and became 70,39 after giving the treatment towards the samples. Therefore, it can be said that there was a significant difference towards students' memorizing Kanji alphabet ability before and after using Nazotte Oboeru game. Based on the result of questionnaire, most of students said that Nazotte Oboeru game was intersting and making learn Kanji alphabet easier to be memorized. But most of students also found a difficulty in writing Kanji alphabet in this game because the answer was Hiragana or Kanji which had to be written by using pointer
