IMPACT OF ACADEMIC LIBRARY SERVICES ON STUDENTS SUCCESS AND PERFORMANCE

Libraries play an important role as a reliable and beneficial information provider in the students academic success and performance. The aim of this study is to investigate the students satisfaction with library resources and services provided by the academic library. Random surveying was conducted to find out the problem and difficulties faced by the students in accessing the library resources and its impact on their academic success and performance. The finding in the study showed that there is a significant and remarkable relationship between the library usage and the students’ academic performance and success. the major finding of the study is to conduct the information literacy programme for the students to promote awareness about the resources, services and facilities available in the library so that the students can take maximum advantage of the benefits provided by the library . One way to overcome this problem is to encourage the students to embrace using the library in their academic studies and explain its benefits

A recurring complaint these days is related to the culture we are having trouble in memorization. Loss of memory or the ability to memorize is related to anxiety and all its consequences. Anxiety is crucial for our survival, but when out of homeostasis, the organism requires the action of neurotransmitters and hormones and, when disproportionate due to the inability to bring a better balance, leads to more anxiety causing dysfunctions that interfere in human life, as well as the crucial need for well-being that is of memorization. My goal in this article, based on my knowledge of intelligence that is related to memory, is to bring techniques and strategies for better memorization.Uma reclamação recorrente nos dias atuais está relacionada à cultura que vivenciamos: a dificuldade na memorização. PERSPECTIVA HISTÓRICA DE GESTÃO NAS IES: BALANCED SCORECARD (BSC) NO CENÁRIO ATUAL DAS UNIVERSIDADES PÚBLICAS

Esse trabalho faz um panorama das Instituições de Ensino Superior - IES públicas considerando as politicas de gestão administrativa; procura retrata uma visão das bases legais e histórica e descreve os aspectos políticos no processo decisório de gestão do Estado Nacional. O problema observa como se estrutura a gestão das IES sob o controle político do Estado? Objetivou identificar a organização estrutural da gestão pública no contexto histórico a fim de observar a gestão no modelo do Balanced Scorecard (BSC) das IES. O método utilizado na pesquisa é de natureza básica bibliográfica e documental. Os resultados observados na pesquisa levaram a considerar que as IES públicas que os gestores necessitam ter conhecimento dos processos decisórios da gestão da qual são objeto de controle do Estado e dos órgãos de controle e financiamento internacionais. No entanto as universidades públicas vêm seguindo o modelo da administração empresarial na elaboração do planejamento estratégico do qual o BSC se destaca pela sua natureza na perspectiva dos fenômenos sociais e se alinhando novas exigências da lei de responsabilidade fiscal no gerenciamento dos recursos para aprimoramento da gestão para a eficiente e eficácia
