Genotoxic effects of sevoflurane and isoflurane on kidney cells in Swiss albino mice
U radu je istraživano oÅ”teÄenje DNA stanica bubrega miÅ”a Swiss albino nakon viÅ”estrukog izlaganja inhalacijskim anesteticima sevofluranu i izofluranu. Za procjenu oÅ”teÄenja DNA upotrijebljen je alkalni komet test, a praÄena su 3 parametra: duljina repa (TL), repni moment (TM) i intenzitet repa (TI). Stupanj oÅ”teÄenja DNA odreÄivan je neposredno nakon izlaganja sevofluranu, odnosno izofluranu, te nakon 2 h, 6 h i 24 h. Srednje vrijednosti sva 3 parametra bile su statistiÄki znaÄajno viÅ”e u eksperimentalnim skupinama u odnosu na kontrolne skupine, s tim da je kod miÅ”eva izloženih sevofluranu utvrÄen kontinuiran porast oÅ”teÄenja DNA unutar 24 h nakon izlaganja, dok je kod izoflurana najveÄe oÅ”teÄenje opaženo 2 sata nakon izlaganja, nakon Äega je doÅ”lo do popravka.DNA damage of kidney cells in Swiss Albino mice after repeated exposure to inhalation anesthetics sevoflurane and isoflurane has been investigated. For evaluation of DNA damage alkaline comet assay has been used. Mean values of all three parameters have been significantly higher in experimental groups compared to the control groups. DNA damage in mice exposed to sevoflurane increased continuously within 24 h after exposure, while isoflurane induced highest DNA damage 2 h after exposure and afterwards DNA repair was observed

Nastupom suvremenih promjena na svjetskom tržiÅ”tu morskoga linijskog brodarstva, zamjenom segmentiranih s integriranim prijevoznim sustavima (kontejnerizacija - temeljena na Å”irokoj logistiÄkoj potpori), morskom se brodaru javljaju nove vrste troÅ”kova. Putovanje kontejnerskog broda, ti obraÄunska razdoblje uspjeÅ”nosti poslovanja kontejnerskog brodara kao snažnoga logistiÄkog subjekta tvore, pored troÅ”kova uobiÄajenih za klasiÄni linijski brod, i troÅ”kovi u svezi s kontejnerima. Brodaru se ti troÅ”kovi javljaju od ishodiÅ”ta do odrediÅ”ta prijevoza (integriranje kopnene i morske prijevozne komponente), Å”to dodatno poveÄava troÅ”kove putovanja kontejnerskog broda. U ovoj se raspravi iznosi detaljna raÅ”Älamba troÅ”kova klasiÄnoga linijskog i kontejnerskog broda te predlažu smjernice za njihovu optimizaciju

Najnovija varijanta Incotermsa 2000 prilagoÄena je suvremenoj trgovinskoj praksi, a njihovom se primjenom ukljanjaju nejasnoÄe i nesporazumi u meÄunarodnoj praksi. U radu se analiziraju pojam, svrha i ciljevi Incotermsa, struktura Incotermsa, obrazložu se svi termini i ukazuje na temeljne znaÄajke na koje izvoznici i uvoznici trebaju obratiti pažnju.Incoterms ā ICC offical rules for the interpretation of trade terms has enabled and provided the exchange of the goods between the sellers and the buyers and economic and legal relationship between all the partis of the foreign trade system. Short telomeres are also connected with aging related diseases like cancer, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes which are the leading causes of death in the world today. Recently, it has been demonstrated, for the first time, that comprehensive lifestyle changes can slow aging process at molecular level. Such changes include food rich in fiber, fruits and vegetables as well as low fat and low refined carbohydrates diet. If this diet is combined with moderate exercise and stress management techniques, it can result in increased telomerase activity in peripheral mononuclear blood cells during three months period only, which subsequently

Incidentalomi nadbubrežne žlijezde jesu tumori otkriveni tijekom dijagnostiÄke evaluacije nekoga drugog kliniÄkog stanja. TehnoloÅ”ki napredak radioloÅ”kih ureÄaja i njihova sve veÄa upotreba u svakodnevnoj kliniÄkoj praksi doveli su do ÄeÅ”Äeg otkrivanja ovih tumora ÄineÄi njihovu dijagnostiku i lijeÄenje jednim od najvažnijih izazova moderne endokrinologije. Radi racionalnog pristupa ovim bolesnicima radna skupina koju su Äinili vodeÄi hrvatski struÄnjaci iz podruÄja bolesti nadbubrežne žlijezde, na temelju relevantne znanstvene literature i postojeÄih smjernica europskih i svjetskih druÅ”tava, donijela je preporuke za dijagnostiku i lijeÄenje incidentaloma nadbubrežne žlijezde.Adrenal incidentalomas are tumours of adrenal glands discovered during diagnostic workup for other clinical condition unrelated to adrenal glands. Razbremenilna logistika na bencinskih servisih v Sloveniji
The environmental disburdening by means of outsourcing logistics (sorting, bundling, transport) is today significantly more present, since this has been regulated by the law provisions on environmental protection and the economic reasons. Outsourcing logistics in this field with its activities such as: improvement in assembling separate fraction, introduction of new, i. e. additional boxes, usage of specific vehicles for collection and dispatch, reestablishment of information systems and organization of a centre for disburdening of the environment(sorting, bundling and waste disposal) is contributing largely to a better accomplishment of the mission of logistics rationalization and adaptation to new law claims on environmental protection.Razbremenjevanje okolja s pomoÄjo razbremenilne logistike (sortiranje, zbiranje, transport) je v podjetjih danaÅ”njega Äasa vedno bolj aktualno, saj nas k temu zavezujejo zakonski predpisi o varstvu okolja in ekonomski razlogi. Razbremenilna logistika na tern podroÄju s svojimi aktivnostmi kot so: racionaliziranje zbiranja loÄenih frakcij, uvedba novih oz. dodatnih zabojnikov, uporaba specifiÄnih vozil za zbiranje in odvoz, vzpostavitev celovitega informacijskega sistema in ureditev centra za razbremenjevanje (sortiranje, zbiranje in ravnanje z odpadki) odloÄilno vpliva k uresniÄevanju nalog v zvezi z racionalizacijo logistike, prilagajanjem zakonskim zahtevam glede varstva okolja
