Following the prospect of French analysis of speech, reflect on how the constitution of the senses, from different interpretations of the law on adoption by homosexual couples and their relationships to the social events. The analysis illustrates the conflicts between the application of legal standards in the social sphere and heterogeneity of constitutive interpretation, which works on top not only the discourse of normalization, but in any event discursive.Seguindo a perspectiva da Análise de Discurso de linha francesa, refletimos sobre o modo de constituição dos sentidos, a partir das diferentes interpretações da lei sobre a adoção por casais de homossexuais e suas relações com os acontecimentos sociais. As análises ilustram os embates entre a aplicação das normas jurídicas na esfera social e a heterogeneidade constitutiva da interpretação, que trabalha em cima não apenas do discurso da normatização, mas de qualquer manifestação discursiva

A DIVERSIDADE TERMINOLÓGICA DOS PARTÍCIPES NOS PROCEDIMENTOS DA POLÍCIA CIVIL DO RS

As linguagens jurídicas se desdobram em linguagem jurídico-policial e linguagem jurídico-judiciária Esta, por ocupar o topo de uma representação icônica, é contemplada nos estudos terminológicos, ao passo que aquela, por estar na base, é desprestigiada. A representação da terminologia empregada ao criminoso, no inquérito policial, através de mapas conceituais, permitiu evidenciar relações hierárquicas legadas pela tarefa investigativa. Se a investigação evolui, a terminologia modifica no decorrer do processo. Se a investigação não evolui, a terminologia permanece estagnada. Analisamos o modo como esses termos são definidos em dois dicionários: jurídico e dicionário da língua geral. Concluímos que as definições de ambos os dicionários não permitem a compreensão de alguns termos e a inserção desses na hierarquia da qual fazem parte

A TEXTUALIDADE NO TERMO DE DECLARAÇÃO DE INQUÉRITOS POLICIAIS DE HOMICÍDIO SEM AUTORIA CONHECIDA

O Termo de Declaração é o registro, pelo policial, do depoimento dos participantes nos procedimentos policiais. É texto especializado porque gira em torno de uma temática específica, sendo produzido por especialistas da Polícia Judiciária. Embora inexista normativa que estabeleça o modo de elaboração desse texto, a análise de um corpus representativo, formado por seis TDs de inquéritos policiais de homicídios sem autoria conhecida, mostra que todos os exemplares analisados apresentam elementos microestruturais recorrentes. Os policiais que os elaboram seguem uma espécie de tradição na transposição da fala para a escrita. Mostramos, nos textos especializados jurídico-policiais que formam o corpus, os fatores mais relevantes que são responsáveis pela textualidade e, também, os aspectos macro e microestruturais recorrentes em todos os textos

Terminologia jurídico-policial: seleção e validação de termos em textos-base e mapa-domínio

A terminologia jurídico-policial é inexplorada até então. As diligências dessa polícia são registradas em documentos. O estudo de corpus pode subsidiar a seleção dos termos. Neste artigo, propomos um método de seleção e validação dos termos jurídico-policiais, através do estudo de dez textos-base extraídos de um corpus formado por 70.880 boletins de ocorrências registradas de 2008 a 2010. Os termos são selecionados dos textos-base, e validados pela inserção no mapa-domínio jurídicopolicial, uma variedade de mapa conceitual que agrega três termos indispensáveis ao registro da ocorrência: Polícia Civil do RS, Delegacia de Polícia e boletim de ocorrência.The juridical-police terminology is unexplored so far. The steps taken by the police are recorded in police documents. The studied corpus may support the selection of terms. In this paper, we propose a method for selection and validation of the termsin this area, through the study of ten basic texts extracted from a corpus consisting of 70.880 occurrences newsletters recorded from 2008 to 2010. The terms are selected from the basic texts and validated with the inclusion in a ”domain map”, a variety of conceptual maps that add three indispensable terms to the record of the occurrence: the RS Civil Police, Police Station and occurrences newsletters

A terminologia empregada aos criminosos e/ou infratores pela polícia civil do Rio Grande do Sul

The Civilian Police, or the Judicial Police, has as its core activity to criminal prosecution, anchoring the action which, in theory, culminating in the process that generates the sentence. For the criminal prosecution, the police record  your steps through specialized texts, composed of technical terms specific to this specialized area, the documents making up the procedures that are instituted to ascertain the fact that was recorded by people. In the legal sphere, the terms employed by the Judicial Police are legal-police terms. However, due to the stigmatization of the target activity, these terms are not included in the legal dictionaries. The experts who use the the range of terminology legal-police pick given terminology based on empiricism, and these cognitive choices assure the applicability of criminal law. The  present study describes the work of the Judicial Police, the procedures that are instituted for the applicability of criminal law and terminological units (UTs) to employed participants in these procedures. Through the representation of these UTs on conceptual maps of the type hierarchy, has been established that the UTs to designate the person who commits the crime or the offense, have a hierarchical relationship between them.A Polícia Civil, ou Polícia Judiciária, tem como atividade precípua a persecução penal, ancorando a ação que, em tese, culmina no processo que gera a sentença. Para a instrução penal, essa polícia registra as suas diligências através de textos especializados, compostos por termos técnicos específicos dessa área especializada, cujos documentos compõem os procedimentos que são instaurados para apurar o fato que foi registrado pelo cidadão. Em virtude de insurgir da esfera jurídica, os termos empregados pela Polícia Judiciária são termos jurídico-policiais. Entretanto, em virtude da estigmatização da atividade-fimesses termos não são contemplados nos dicionários jurídicos. Os especialistas que utilizam a gama terminológica jurídico-policial escolhem dada unidade terminológica com base no empirismo, sendo que essas escolhas cognitivas asseguram a aplicabilidade da lei penal.O presente estudo descreve o trabalho da Polícia Judiciária, os procedimentos que são instaurados para a aplicabilidade da lei penal e as unidades terminológicas (UTs) empregadas aos partícipes nesses procedimentos. através da representação dessas UTs em mapas conceituais do tipo hierárquico, foi possível constatar que as UTs que designam a pessoa que comete o crime, ou a infração, mantêm uma relação hierárquica entre si

A CONSTITUIÇÃO DA SUBJETIVIDADE ATRAVÉS DA INSCRIÇÃO NA ESCRITA DIGITAL

We have started from the observation and analysis of two teaching practices developed in the course of Portuguese language to reflect, with a focus on aspects of French Discourse Analysis on the constitution of subjectivity from the description of the subject-student in digital writing. The observation of practice, from the theoretical-methodological device that mobilizes the notion of subject, meaning, discourse and ideology, leads to an investigation on the ways in which different approaches to language establish distinct forms of subjectivity. In this sense, we choose to think here about instances of emerging subjects from the relation of the subject-student with reading and writing.Partimos da observação e da análise de duas práticas de ensino desenvolvidas na disciplina de Língua Portuguesa para refletir, sob o enfoque da vertente francesa da Análise do Discurso, sobre a constituição da subjetividade a partir da inscrição do sujeito-aluno na escrita digital. A observação da prática, com base no dispositivo teórico-metodológico que mobiliza a noção de sujeito, sentido, discurso e ideologia, conduz à investigação sobre os modos como as diferentes abordagens da linguagem instauram formas distintas de subjetivação. Proposta parcial de organização e análise da terminologia da polícia civil: os modus operandi furto chuca, furto descuido, furto mão grande e furto punga

El trabajo de la Policía Civil de Río Grande do Sul (PC/RS) resulta en textos que instruyen el proceso penal iniciado con el Boletim de Ocurrência (BO). Los términos empleados en la comunicación policial aún no han sido estudiados, tampoco organizados. La inninteligibilidad de esta terminología influye negativamente en el proceso penal, pues los textos son enviados al Ministerio Público y al Poder Judiciario para ofrecer la denuncia. El único registro del que la PC/RS dispone, relativo a la terminología que emplea, es un anexo del manual del Sistema de Informaciones Policiales (SIP) que contiene los 16 modus operandi (MOP) más utilizados a mediados de los años 70.A partir de estas constataciones, consideramos importante estudiar esta terminología. A través de un corpus formado por 12.000 históricos de BO de furto, furto chuca, furto descuido, furto mão grande y furto punga, analizamos cómo los policías que registran las ocurrencias entienden estos términos, y los contrastamos con la definición que está en el anexo del SIP. Organizamos los términos estudiados en mapas conceptuales y percibimos que la comprensión de los mismos por parte de los policías es distinta de la definición que consta en el anexo del SIP, hecho que puede intervenir negativamente en el resultado de la acción penal y en el análisis criminal. Este estudio se basa en los fundamentos teóricos sobre texto especializado y sobre la Teoría Comunicativa de la Terminología

Terminologia jurídico-policial: seleção de termos de uma terminologia inexplorada através de corpus

Este estudo descreve a seleção da terminologia jurídico-policial em um corpus formado por 75.000 históricos de boletins de ocorrência policial, lematizados no glossário eletrônico jurídico-policial da Polícia Civil do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. A teoria comunicativa da terminologia (Cabré 1999) e a socioterminologia (Gaudin 1993) sustentam a obra. Os termos são selecionados no programa AntConc, pela funcionalidade palavras-chave, que são três termos para designar quem comete o ato delituoso (suspeito, acusado e indiciado/conduzido). As palavras-chave mostraram os co-textos do corpus e neles algumas variantes daquelas (indivíduo, bandido, etc.); além também de outros termos (fato, abaixo mencionado, etc.). O glossário será usado nos sistemas de informações policiais, e representa uma pequena contribuição para a eficácia da interpretação da lei, através da função social da linguística.This study describes the selection of the law enforcement terminology in a corpus formed of 75,000 historic Police Occurrence Bulletins, lemmatized in the electronic glossary law enforcement of the Civil Police of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. The Communicative Terminology Theory (Cabré 1999) and the Socioterminology (Gaudin 1993) support the work. The terms are selected in the program AntConc, by the keyword functionality, which are three terms that describe who commits a penal offense (suspect, accused and indicted/conducted). The key words showed the co-texts of the corpus and then some variants of keywords (individual, bandit, etc.); and also some other terms (fact, mentioned below, etc.). The glossary will be used in police information systems, and it represents a small contribution to the effectiveness of law interpretation through the social function of linguistics

Does personality affect premating isolation between locally-adapted populations?

Background: One aspect of premating isolation between diverging, locally-adapted population pairs is female mate choice for resident over alien male phenotypes. Mating preferences often show considerable individual variation, and whether or not certain individuals are more likely to contribute to population interbreeding remains to be studied. In the Poecilia mexicana-species complex different ecotypes have adapted to hydrogen sulfide (H2S)-toxic springs, and females from adjacent non-sulfidic habitats prefer resident over sulfide-adapted males. We asked if consistent individual differences in behavioral tendencies (animal personality) predict the strength and direction of the mate choice component of premating isolation in this system. Results: We characterized focal females for their personality and found behavioral measures of ‘novel object exploration’, ‘boldness’ and ‘activity in an unknown area’ to be highly repeatable. Furthermore, the interaction term between our measures of exploration and boldness affected focal females’ strength of preference (SOP) for the resident male phenotype in dichotomous association preference tests. High exploration tendencies were coupled with stronger SOPs for resident over alien mating partners in bold, but not shy, females. Shy and/or little explorative females had an increased likelihood of preferring the non-resident phenotype and thus, are more likely to contribute to rare population hybridization. When we offered large vs. small conspecific stimulus males instead, less explorative females showed stronger preferences for large male body size. However, this effect disappeared when the size difference between the stimulus males was small. Conclusions: Our results suggest that personality affects female mate choice in a very nuanced fashion. Hence, population differences in the distribution of personality types could be facilitating or impeding reproductive isolation between diverging populations depending on the study system and the male trait(s) upon which females base their mating decisions, respectively
