CC BY-NC-ND 4.0The development of the labour market of the Republic of Kazakhstan is described by instability among certain age groups, an increasing imbalance between the demand for labour and its supply. The current processes in the Republic of Kazakhstan prioritise the provision of youth employment both at the national and regional levels. Attracting young people to the sphere of productive labour is complicated by the imperfection of state regulation mechanisms. The scientific originality was determined by the fact that the growth of the labour force competitiveness and its adaptive potential necessitates advanced methodologies and techniques for assessing structural and dynamic shifts in the labour market, the integration of its individual segments into the existing socio-economic space, as well as the development of methodological foundations for forecasting these processes. The labour market is a system of social relations, including legal provisions and institutions that ensure the proper reproduction and effective use of labour, the quantity and quality of which are appropriately rewarded. The methodological framework of the study included general scientific and special methods of cognition. The use of systematic and integrated research approaches allowed determining the specific features of the youth labour market as an object of state regulation and justifying the need for the development of a comprehensive mechanism for its state regulation. The increased need for the state to implement measures aimed at preventing the growth of youth unemployment leads to revising and changing the methods of the youth labour market state regulation

The article is dedicated to Professor L.L. Fofanof’s scientific activity. He headed the faculty therapeutic clinic of Kazan Imperial University in 1915-1920. Being a student L.L. Fofanov was interested in pathological anatomy and physiology. His dissertation «To physiology of n. depressoris» was dedicated to studying the vasomotor center. During his visit in Germany he worked a lot. In Charite together with Professor His he studied gout and its treatment with Radium emanation. In Halle clinic under Professor Schmidt’s supervision he studied assimilation of starch in normal and pathological digestion. L.L. Fofanov also made a contribution to tuberculosis treatment: with professor V.F. Orlovskiy he studied treatment of tuberculosis with simulated pneumothorax. In his research professor L.L. Fofanov paid great attention to the issues of pathogenesis and pathogenetic substantiation of the clinical manifestation and treatment. During the World War I and Civil War he fought against typhus epidemies: he saw patients, gave lectures, studied the features of myocardial involvement. He died in 1920 from typhus

Strength characteristics of restoration materials, namely their resistance to abrasive wear, are of great importance in choosing a treatment method for increased dental abrasion. The purpose of this study was to research the abrasive wear of materials for direct and indirect dental restorations in patients with increased dental abrasion by measuring areas of the teeth occlusion using computer occlusiograms. Patients who underwent direct restorations with nanocomposite and indirect restorations with lithium disilicate ceramic restorations as a treatment for increased dental abrasion were underwent occlusiography by using TScan III (Tekscan, USA) 1 month and 24 months after the treatment was completed, to measure the area of teeth occlusion in the IP position (a multi-point occlusal contact position). The degree of dental abrasion of restoration materials provided judging on changing the area of occlusal contacts in the same patient over time and in compared with the area of occlusal contacts in the control group. The results of the study shown that the resistance to abrasive wear of ceramic restorations is in consistent with a tooth enamel, and nanocomposite materials, despite their durability, are prone to abrasion as well. Therefore, indirect ceramic restorations should be in preference in treatment of increased dental abrasion, in which an increased occlusive load is one of the clinical manifestations

SRH, PC, MTGH, JP and SDB were supported by Wellcome Trust grant 098051.Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a major cause of hospital-associated infection, but there is growing awareness of the emergence of multidrug-resistant lineages in community settings around the world. One such lineage is ST772-MRSA-V, which has disseminated globally and is increasingly prevalent in India. Here, we present the complete genome sequence of DAR4145, a strain of the ST772-MRSA-V lineage from India, and investigate its genomic characteristics in regards to antibiotic resistance and virulence factors.Publisher PDFPeer reviewe
