VEM PRA RUA: AS MANIFESTAÇÕES DURANTE A COPA DAS CONFEDERAÇÕES 2013

As manifestações durante a Copa das Confederações dominaram as manchetes dos jornais brasileiros e de muitos outros países em junho 2013. O presente artigo se propõe a juntar informações sobre estes acontecimentos históricos com a ajuda de ferramentas etnográficas. Estes dados estão sendo analisados com a ajuda de teóricos importantes das ciências sociais brasileiras como DaMatta e Guedes. A tese é que o futebol é o grande ritual brasileiro em qual os brasileiros contam histórias sobre si mesmo e dramatizam temas sociais. Estes temas devem ser analisados.

Violência como categoria de acusação nos discursos de torcedores de futebol no Rio de Janeiro

Torcedores de futebol se tornaram um objeto de interesse das CiênciasSociais, sobretudo, por causa de fenômenos de violência ocorridos durante alguns jogos de futebol. O presente artigo resume os resultados de uma etnografia feita no estádio Engenhão, junto à torcida do Botafogo, no Rio de Janeiro. A partir de observações foi possível perceber que os torcedores fazem uso das categorias “emoçãog e “conforto” para definir seu lugar no estádio e na torcida. Além disso, foi possível observar a categoria de acusação “violência” usada para se distanciar discursivamente de certos grupos pertencentes à própria torcida. O trabalho propõe uma análisedos discursos dos torcedores e as disputas pelos espaços nos estádios

A disputa pelo legado em megaeventos esportivos no Brasil

Desde que o Brasil foi escolhido sede da Copa do Mundo de Futebol de 2014 e dos Jogos Olímpicos de 2016 o tema megaeventos esportivos é um dos principais temas em pauta no Brasil. Por causa dessas competições há um investimento pesado em várias áreas como transporte, infraestrutura e principalmente a construção de vários novos estádios no país inteiro. Essas obras são parte de um projeto maior que obedece a normas internacionais e interfere gravemente na vida dos cidadãos brasileiros. Por isso, há uma grande discussão sobre usos e abusos, significado internacional e tendências globais de megaeventos esportivos. Em geral, a discussão gira em torno daquilo que é chamado de “legado”. O presente artigo propõe analisar com a ajuda dos conceitos “torneio de valor” e os “panoramas dos fluxos globalizados” de Appadurai a disputa por esse legado.The issue sports mega-events is one of the most important in in Brazil since the country was elected to host the football world cup 2014 and the Summer Olimpics 2016. There is a heavy investment in several areas like transport, infrastructure and especially a number of new stadiums because of these tournaments. These constructions are part of a nationwide project which obeys international norms and interferes seriously in the daily life of the Brazilian citizens. That’s the reason why there is happening a strong discussion about the utility, abuses, international meaning and global tendencies of sports mega-events. Normally this discussion is about that what is called “legacy”. Da rua para a rede: a Copa das Confederações 2013 no Brasil

O objeto do presente artigo é o megaevento esportivo FIFA Copa das Confederações 2013. Estes eventos são entendidos como torneios de valores com sua estrutura ritualística em qual acontecem disputas pelos capitais disponíveis, incluindo a definição da situação. Para descrever estas disputas foram entrevistados os editores de dois sites brasileiros que se dedicaram aos megaeventos esportivos que aconteceram no Brasil entre 2013 e 2014, e, analisados os mesmos, incluindo os comentários dos leitores. Dessa forma foi possível observar e descrever as manifestações no Brasil durante a Copa das Confederações e suas reflexões na internet. Interpretamos os acontecimentos como uma disputa pelo legado dos megaeventos esportivos. A internet é uma das ferramentas nesta disputa em qual é importante produzir autenticidade.The object of this article is the sports mega-event FIFA Confederations Cup 2013. These events are understood as value tournaments ​​with their ritualistic structure in which disputes occur about available capital, including the definition of the situation. Editors of two Brazilian webpages that are devoted to sports mega-events that take place in Brazil between 2013 and 2014 were interviewed and their websites analyzed including comments from readers, to describe these disputes. Thus it was possible to observe and describe the demonstrations in Brazil during the Confederations Cup and their reflections in the internet. The events are understood as a dispute about the legacy of sports mega-events. The internet is one of the tools in this dispute in which it is important to produce authenticity

Determinantes de las exportaciones de espárragos de las Pymes exportadoras de la Región La Libertad, 2017

La presente tesis titulada “Determinantes de las exportaciones de espárragos de las pymes exportadoras de la región La Libertad, 2017” tuvo como objetivo principal describir los factores determinantes de las exportaciones de espárragos de las pymes exportadoras de la región La Libertad, 2017. Se utilizó un tipo de investigación aplicada, un nivel de investigación descriptivo con un diseño no experimental de corte transversal. La población utilizada para esta investigación fue de 12 micro y pequeñas empresas exportadoras de espárragos de la región La Libertad, teniendo como muestra censal el total de la población. Se utilizó como instrumento el cuestionario validado mediante el juicio de expertos. Los resultados fueron procesados mediante una base de datos utilizando el programa estadístico SPSS mediante el porcentaje de frecuencias. Finalmente, la investigación dará a conocer cuáles son los factores que determinan las exportaciones de las pymes exportadoras de espárragos y si es que estos factores influyen en las decisiones de exportación de las empresas

Management of venous thrombosis in fibular free osseomusculocutaneous flaps used for mandibular reconstruction: clinical techniques and treatment considerations

<p>Abstract</p> <p>Background</p> <p>Mandibular reconstruction by means of fibula transplants is the standard therapy for severe bone loss after subtotal mandibulectomy. Venous failure still represents the most common complication in free flap surgery. We present the injection of heparine into the arterial pedicle as modification of the revising both anastomoses in these cases and illustrate the application with a clinical case example.</p> <p>Methods</p> <p>Methods consist of immediate revision surgery with clot removal, heparin perfusion by direct injection in the arterial vessel of the pedicle, subsequent high dose low-molecular weight heparin therapy, and leeches. After 6 hours postoperatively, images of early flap recovery show first sings of recovery by fading livid skin color.</p> <p>Results</p> <p>The application of this technique in a patient with venous thrombosis resulted in the complete recovery of the flap 60 hours postoperatively. Other cases achieved similar success without additional lysis Therapy or revision of the arterial anastomosis.</p> <p>Conclusion</p> <p>Rescue of fibular flaps is possible even in patients with massive thrombosis if surgical revision is done quickly.</p

Guide for Current Nutrigenetic, Nutrigenomic, and Nutriepigenetic Approaches for Precision Nutrition Involving the Prevention and Management of Chronic Diseases Associated with Obesity

Chronic diseases, including obesity, are major causes of morbidity and mortality in most countries. The adverse impacts of obesity and associated comorbidities on health remain a major concern due to the lack of effective interventions for prevention and management. Precision nutrition is an emerging therapeutic approach that takes into account an individual's genetic and epigenetic information, as well as age, gender, or particular physiopathological status. Advances in genomic sciences are contributing to a better understanding of the role of genetic variants and epigenetic signatures as well as gene expression patterns in the development of diverse chronic conditions, and how they may modify therapeutic responses. This knowledge has led to the search for genetic and epigenetic biomarkers to predict the risk of developing chronic diseases and personalizing their prevention and treatment. Additionally, original nutritional interventions based on nutrients and bioactive dietary compounds that can modify epigenetic marks and gene expression have been implemented. Although caution must be exercised, these scientific insights are paving the way for the design of innovative strategies for the control of chronic diseases accompanying obesity. Dental therapy before and after radiotherapy–an evaluation on patients with head and neck malignancies

The present investigation evaluates the dental care situation of patients with head and neck cancer before and after radiotherapy. The situations of these patients in 1993 and 2005 were compared to detect similarities, differences and developments. In the years 1993 and 2005, 37 and 36 patients, respectively, with head and neck cancer treated by the local departments of otorhinolaryngology and of radiotherapy were examined consecutively according to their aftercare appointments. Time points of radiotherapy treatment of the patients evaluated in 1993 varied from 1984 to 1993. The patients evaluated in 2005 had received radiotherapy between 1998 and 2005. Therefore the applied radiotherapeutic regimen differed not only between the two groups of patients, but also within each group. The information for these investigations was provided anonymously. It was evaluated with descriptive statistics. The evaluation of the data shows distinct differences with respect to preventive and therapeutic dental care measures. In 2005, 35 out of 36 patients (97.2%) had a dental consultation before radiotherapy (1993, 65%). All 27 dentate patients (100%) obtained a splint for fluoride application (1993, none). 29% fewer edentulous patients were seen than in 1993. The number of teeth destroyed decreased from 19.2% (1993) to 7.8% in 2005. Mycoses due to Candida spp. and chronic failures in wound healing were rare (5.5%). In the course of the 12 years, prophylactic measures, such as the application of splints for fluoride treatment, were intensified. However, concepts for the dental care of patients undergoing radiotherapy, especially following the radiation, should be widened to avoid ruined teeth and long delayed wound healings

Airport Benchmarking and Spatial Competition: a Critical Review

During the last two decades the European airport industry is liberalised and turned to competitive market environment. This fact attracts an increasing scientific and practical interest to analysis of airport efficiency and its determinants, as well as different aspects of airport competition. This paper contains a critical review of existing researches in these two areas – airport efficiency and spatial competition among airports. We analysed modern approaches to airport benchmarking, their advantages and shortcomings, and systematised a wide range of related academic studies. We paid special attention to empirical researches of spatial competition as a factor affecting airport efficiency. Despite the fact of a well-developed theory of spatial competition and signs of its growing effects in the airport industry, we discovered a lack of studies devoted to the relationship between airport efficiency and spatial competition
