An experimental condition as social deprivation has been being part of animal models in
order to produce stress and changes in its emotional systems. The aim of this study was to
know how both aggression and anxiety levels are modificated by different periods of social
deprivation in wistar males rats. 56 animals were assigned to 7 groups, 4 control and 3
experimental groups. These last, were submitted to deprivation in periods of 15, 30 and 60
days. After each period, the anxiety was measured in the elevated plus-maze, and later the
aggression in the intruder-resident paradigm. The results showed that anxiety in experimental
groups is significantly increased in 15 days time of deprivation, maintaining an ascent
tendency up to 30 days, period in which the aggression was slight elevated. In addition,
just in 15 days after, it could be established that the anxiety level by deprivation is major
than that occurring when a new social group is integrated. In periods of 30 and 60 days,
differences were not found because of both conditions. The results enable the study of
other behavioral and electrophysiological variables along the periods of social deprivation.
social en per铆odos de 15, 30 y 60 d铆as.
Inmunoestimulaci贸n condicionada
The objective of this research was to observe if the granulocytic colony stimulating factor
(G-CSF) effect, can be transferred to 1% glucose solution using classical conditioning
paradigm. The design was oriented by the established parameters in the conditioned
inmunosuppresion with ciclofosfamide and saccharine. Previously, the neutrophil levels
were tested as an effect of: the drinking time reduction to 15 minutes per day, the 1%
glucose solution ingest during 15 minutes per day, and of one single intraperitoneal doses
of 20 mg/K of (G-CSF). Then the conditioning of G-CSF and 1% glucose solution was
tested after one and two pairing sessions. The results are according with the Ader, R. et al.
(1991) view, who refering to Solvason, B. et al. (1998) findings, state that there is not yet
enough experimental evidence that support the inmunocompetence conditioning
phenomenum.
postprueba 煤nicamente.
investigaci贸n.
experimentos orientados a fundamentar la pr谩ctica cl铆nica. The objective of this research was to establish whether the diaphragmatic breathing affects
the performance o fan fine motricity work. An experimental posttest was used. The
participants were 16 women between 18 an 25 years. The experimental group was trained
in diaphragmatic breathing and further evaluated in fine motricity on the purdue pegmoard.
During the execution of the test the breathing frequency per minute was measured and
were registered 6 kinds of mistake altogether the correct trials. The results suggest that the
diaphragmatic breathing pattern influences on the motricity executions, which supports
new investigation questions. The roll of learning on the breathing pattern modification is
discussed in this sort of experiments oriented to base the clinical practice
