QCD sum rules study of X(4350)
The QCD sum rule approach is used to analyze the nature of the rencently
observed new resonance , which is assumed to be a diquark-antidiquark
state with . The interpolating current
representing this state is proposed. In the calculation, contributions of
operators up to dimension six are included in the operator product expansion
(OPE), as well as terms which are linear in the strange quark mass . We
find m_{1^{-+}}=(4.82\pm 0.19)\,\mbox{GeV}, which is not compatible with the
structure as a tetraquark state. Finally, we also discuss
the difference of a four-quark state's mass whether the state's interpolating

Pengaruh Penerapan Strategi Concept Mapping terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa di Sekolah Dasar
This study aimed to analyze the influence of concept mapping strategy towards the learning result students in social science study on the V B grade of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota. This study used an experimental method with Pre-Experimental design form using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this research were 68 students. The samples in this research was V B as a research class. Based on the t-test, the calculation result obtained t test (7,29) > t table (1,699) with significance level α = 5% means a significant influence using concept mapping strategy. The value of effect size (ES) is 0.39 with moderate category. It means that concept mapping strategy give a moderate effect to the learning result students in social science study on the V B grade of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota
The CDEX-1 1 kg Point-Contact Germanium Detector for Low Mass Dark Matter Searches
The CDEX Collaboration has been established for direct detection of light
dark matter particles, using ultra-low energy threshold p-type point-contact
germanium detectors, in China JinPing underground Laboratory (CJPL). The first
1 kg point-contact germanium detector with a sub-keV energy threshold has been
tested in a passive shielding system located in CJPL. The outputs from both the
point-contact p+ electrode and the outside n+ electrode make it possible to
scan the lower energy range of less than 1 keV and at the same time to detect
the higher energy range up to 3 MeV. The outputs from both p+ and n+ electrode
may also provide a more powerful method for signal discrimination for dark
matter experiment. Some key parameters, including energy resolution, dead time,
decay times of internal X-rays, and system stability, have been tested and
measured. The results show that the 1 kg point-contact germanium detector,
together with its shielding system and electronics, can run smoothly with good
performances. This detector system will be deployed for dark matter search

Quality of reporting of systematic reviews published in “evidence-based” Chinese journals
BACKGROUND: The number of systematic reviews (SRs)/meta-analyses (MAs) has increased dramatically in China over the past decades. However, evaluation of quality of reporting of systematic reviews published has not been undertaken. The objective of this study is to evaluate the quality of reporting of SRs/MAs assessing efficacy and/or harms of clinical interventions published in “evidence-based” Chinese journals. METHODS: Web-based database searches were conducted for the Chinese Journal of Evidence-based Medicine, the Journal of Evidence-Based Medicine, the Chinese Journal of Evidence Based Pediatrics, and the Chinese Journal of Evidence-Based Cardiovascular Medicine. SRs/MAs assessing efficacy and/or harms of clinical interventions were included. The cut-off was December 31st 2011. The PRISMA statement was applied to assess the quality of reporting. Each item was assessed as follows: ‘Yes’ for total compliance, scored ‘1’; ‘partial’ for partial compliance, scored ‘0.5’; and ‘No’ for non-compliance, scored ‘0’. The review was considered to have major flaws if it received a total score of ≤15.0, minor flaws if it received a total score of 15.5 to 21.0, and minimal flaws if it received a total score 21.5 to 27.0. Odds ratios were used for binary variables, and the mean difference was used for continuous variables. Analyses were performed using RevMan 5.0 software. RESULTS: Overall, 487 SRs/MAs were identified and assessed. The included reviews had medium quality with minor flaws based on PRISMA total scores (range: 8.5–26.0; mean: 19.6 ± 3.3). The stratified analysis showed that SRs/MAs with more than 3 authors, from a university, hospital + university cooperation, multiple affiliations (≥2), and funding have significantly higher quality of reporting of SRs/MAs; 58% of the included reviews were considered to have minor flaws (total score of 15.6 to 21.0). Only 9.6% of reviews were considered to have major flaws. Specific areas needing improvement in reporting include the abstract, protocol and registration, and characteristics of the search. CONCLUSIONS: The reporting of SRs published in “evidence-based” Chinese journals is poor and needs to be improved in order for reviews to be useful. SR authors should use the PRISMA checklist to ensure complete and accurate accounts of their SRs
GestureGPT: Zero-shot Interactive Gesture Understanding and Grounding with Large Language Model Agents
Current gesture recognition systems primarily focus on identifying gestures
within a predefined set, leaving a gap in connecting these gestures to
interactive GUI elements or system functions (e.g., linking a 'thumb-up'
gesture to a 'like' button). We introduce GestureGPT, a novel zero-shot gesture
understanding and grounding framework leveraging large language models (LLMs).
Gesture descriptions are formulated based on hand landmark coordinates from
gesture videos and fed into our dual-agent dialogue system. A gesture agent
deciphers these descriptions and queries about the interaction context (e.g.,
interface, history, gaze data), which a context agent organizes and provides.
Following iterative exchanges, the gesture agent discerns user intent,
grounding it to an interactive function. We validated the gesture description
module using public first-view and third-view gesture datasets and tested the
whole system in two real-world settings: video streaming and smart home IoT
control. The highest zero-shot Top-5 grounding accuracies are 80.11% for video
streaming and 90.78% for smart home tasks, showing potential of the new gesture
understanding paradigm
Control of Cotton Fibre Elongation by a Homeodomain Transcription Factor GhHOX3
Cotton fibres are unusually long, single-celled epidermal seed trichomes and a model for plant cell growth, but little is known about the regulation of fibre cell elongation. Here we report that a homeodomain-leucine zipper (HD-ZIP) transcription factor, GhHOX3, controls cotton fibre elongation. GhHOX3 genes are localized to the 12th homoeologous chromosome set of allotetraploid cotton cultivars, associated with quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for fibre length. Silencing of GhHOX3 greatly reduces (\u3e80%) fibre length, whereas its overexpression leads to longer fibre. Combined transcriptomic and biochemical analyses identify target genes of GhHOX3 that also contain the L1-box cis-element, including two cell wall loosening protein genes GhRDL1 and GhEXPA1. GhHOX3 interacts with GhHD1, another homeodomain protein, resulting in enhanced transcriptional activity, and with cotton DELLA, GhSLR1, repressor of the growth hormone gibberellin (GA). GhSLR1 interferes with the GhHOX3–GhHD1 interaction and represses target gene transcription. Our results uncover a novel mechanism whereby a homeodomain protein transduces GA signal to promote fibre cell elongation
Effects of steel slag and biochar amendments on CO₂, CH₄, and N₂O flux, and rice productivity in a subtropical Chinese paddy field
Steel slag, a by-product of the steel industry, contains high amounts of active iron oxide and silica which can act as an oxidizing agent in agricultural soils. Biochar is a rich source of carbon, and the combined application of biochar and steel slag is assumed to have positive impacts on soil properties as well as plant growth, which are yet to be validated scientifically. We conducted a field experiment for two rice paddies (early and late paddy) to determine the individual and combined effects of steel slag and biochar amendments on CO₂, CH₄, and N₂O emission, and rice productivity in a subtropical paddy field of China. The amendments did not significantly affect rice yield. It was observed that CO₂ was the main greenhouse gas emitted from all treatments of both paddies. Steel slag decreased the cumulative CO₂ flux in the late paddy. Biochar as well as steel slag + biochar treatment decreased the cumulative CO₂ flux in the late paddy and for the complete year (early and late paddy), while steel slag + biochar treatment also decreased the cumulative CH4 flux in the early paddy. The biochar, and steel slag + biochar amendments decreased the global warming potential (GWP). Interestingly, the cumulative annual GWP was lower for the biochar (55,422 kg CO₂-eq ha⁻¹), and steel slag + biochar (53,965 kg CO₂-eq ha⁻¹) treatments than the control (68,962 kg CO₂-eq ha⁻¹). Total GWP per unit yield was lower for the combined application of steel slag + biochar (8951 kg CO₂-eq Mg⁻¹ yield) compared to the control (12,805 kg CO₂-eq Mg⁻¹ yield). This study suggested that the combined application of steel slag and biochar could be an effective long-term strategy to reduce greenhouse gases emission from paddies without any detrimental effect on the yield

The ligand L links molecules to form an infinite chain parallel to the [101] direction.
