Regarding numerous threats connected with sending and storing confidential data, there is a problem of assuring the efficiency. As an answer to those needs, we discuss the SUN's Java Virtual Machine mechanism provided to assure security to a single object. Thanks to the mechanism of serialization in Java, it is possible to provide secure solution. In this paper, we compare the efficiency of algorithms such as DES, Blowfish, AES, RSA and ECC as means of securing serialization of an object

The need for creating content repository stores for e-learning systems grows as the number of available materials increases. Moreover, along with the number of courses, the problem of describing them in a unified form appears. While there are standards used for strict classification of elearning content, the store model still seems to be based on preservative relational databases approach. In this paper we introduce an idea to represent the e-learning content management information in the well organized object-oriented form based on a prospective object-oriented database

Multi-layer Architecture For Storing Visual Data Based on WCF and Microsoft SQL Server Database

In this paper we present a novel architecture for storing visual data. Effective storing, browsing and searching collections of images is one of the most important challenges of computer science. The design of architecture for storing such data requires a set of tools and frameworks such as SQL database management systems and service-oriented frameworks. The proposed solution is based on a multi-layer architecture, which allows to replace any component without recompilation of other components. The approach contains five components, i.e. Model, Base Engine, Concrete Engine, CBIR service and Presentation. They were based on two well-known design patterns: Dependency Injection and Inverse of Control. For experimental purposes we implemented the SURF local interest point detector as a feature extractor and KK-means clustering as indexer. The presented architecture is intended for content-based retrieval systems simulation purposes as well as for real-world CBIR tasks.Comment: Accepted for the 14th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Soft Computing, ICAISC, June 14-18, 2015, Zakopane, Polan

This diploma thesis deals with the implementation of SIL and PIL simulation for the microcontroller Aurix TriCore TC277D performed in the Matlab Simulink. The realization of the simulation represents, among other things, the implementation of the simulated model into the microcontroller, as well as the creation of an interface for the communication of the microcontroller with the Matlab Simulink. The accuracy of SIL and PIL simulations was verified by comparing the simulated waveforms from the simulation in Simulink. The simulated model used a thermal model of a car cabin created in the previous bachelor's thesis of the author of this diploma thesis. The model in TC277D, as well as the configuration for SIL / PIL is created for use with the C programming language. The work also includes instructions according to which the model and configuration can be modified so that the simulations can be performed on any device containing the necessary software. From the comparison of the simulated data is it clear that the created configuration can be used for SIL or PIL simulation.

The air temperature inside the car's cab affects the driver as well as the entire crew. In particular, the driver of the car needs maximum thermal comfort, as it is one of the factors that can affect its attention. Before starting to solve this assignment, you will need to summarize the theoretical knowledge needed to properly solve the task. The main objective of this work will be the creation of a thermal model of a car cabin realized in the form of differential equations describing temperatures, which will be assembled in Simulink. The script in Matlab will be created to enter the individual car cabin parameters. From the perspective of the car crew, it is possible to use air conditioning or window openings to influence the air temperature while driving in the car. Therefore, the model enters the time flow of the air flow and temperature from the air conditioning as well as other parameters, including the outside temperature. From the entered parameters, the model then determines the temperature of the car cabin. The resulting model will need to be created so that it can be implemented into a microcontroller and prepare the necessary interface for HIL simulation.

Tissue-engineered three dimensional skeletal muscle organ-like structures have been formed in vitro from primary myoblasts by several different techniques. This report describes a simplified method for generating large numbers of muscle organoids from either primary embryonic avian or neonatal rodent myoblasts, which avoids the requirements for stretching and other mechanical stimulation

Mechanical stimulation of skeletal muscle increases prostaglandin F2(alpha) synthesis and cyclooxygenase activity by a pertussis toxin sensitive mechanism

    Get PDF
Repetitive mechanical stimulation of differentiated skeletal muscle in tissue culture increases the production of prostaglandin F(sub 2(alpha)), an anabolic stimulator of myofiber growth. Within 4 h of initiating mechanical activity, the activity of cyclooxygenase, a regulatory enzyme in prostaglandin synthesis, was increased 82% (P is less than .005), and this increase was maintained for at least 24 h. Kinetic analysis of the stretch-activated cyclooxygenase indicated a two to three-fold decrease in the enzyme's K(sub m) with no change in V(sub max). The stretch-induced increase in enzymatic activity was not inhibited by cycloheximide, was independent of cellular electrical activity (tetrodotoxin-insensitive), but was prevented by the G protein inhibitor pertussis toxin. Pertussis toxin also inhibited the stretch-induced increases in PGF(sub 2(alpha)) production, and cell growth. It is concluded that stretch of skeletal muscle increases the synthesis of the anabolic modulator PGF(sub 2(alpha)) by a G protein-dependent process which involves activation of cyclooxygenase by a posttranslational mechanism
