    Cybersecurity In The Age Of Artificial Intelligence – Who Should Be Culpable?

      The age of the AI has come in hurtling and it has become difficult for law makers to keep pace. At the same time, unbridled by legislations, criminals in the cyber space are using these Artificial Intelligence tools. The instances of ChatGPT’s use in writing academic articles to morphing pictures of people, the degree of seriousness is high. Another incident was the use of morphed pictures of a celebrity couple’s child for disseminating fake news. The lines of reality and morphed is blurring to an extent that the line is very unclear and hence it is essential that proper laws are put in place to identify and assign culpability to the use of AI for criminal activities. Although the AI applications are guided by moral codes, the said moral codes would be guided by the developer’s morals and hence the question of standardized laws, ethics and morals would arise here. While the debate around AI and intellectual property rights have been on the round for some time and Courts in certain jurisdictions have already deliberated on it, the question has shifted to criminal culpability in case of hacking, creation of photos that falsify evidence, publication of pictures of individuals that have been digitally altered via AI, etc. The question that arises is who is in control of the actions of the AI, since the creator of the AI is not always the person who is involved in criminal activities that are affected through the AI. Also, would a standard code of ethics be able to govern the AI’s functioning successfully

    Advance Approach for Detection of DNS Tunneling Attack from Network Packets Using Deep Learning Algorithms

    Domain Name System (DNS) is a protocol for converting numeric IP addresses of websites into a human-readable form. With the development of technology, to transfer information, a method like DNS tunneling is used which includes data encryption into DNS queries. The ability of the DNS tunneling method of transferring data attracts attackers to establish bidirectional communication with machines infected with malwares. This can lead to sending instructions in an obfuscated way or can lead to data exfiltration. Since firewalls and intrusion detection systems detect only specific types of tunneling, were as the Machine Learning Algorithms can analyze and predict based on previous data provided to it, it is being adopted by researchers to detect and predict the occurrence of DNS Tunneling. The identification of anomalies in Network packets can be done by using Natural Language Processing (NLP) technique. The experimental test accuracy showed that the feature extraction method in NLP for detecting DNS tunneling in network packets was found to be 98.42% on the generated Dataset. This paper makes a comparative study of 1 Dimensional Convolution Neural Network (1-D CNN), Simple Recurrent Neural Network (Simple RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm, Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) algorithm for detecting DNS Tunneling over the generated dataset. To detect this threat of DNS tunneling attack, good quality of the dataset is required.     Traditional practices of using various medicinal plants during postnatal care in Chitrakoot district

    605-613Chitrakoot district, a remote area located in the Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh has very strong local health traditions in which plants play a key role. The region has well developed indigenous practices for taking care of mother and child right after the delivery. There are traditional delicacies with medicinal value and herbal formulations meant for oral and external applications that are exclusively used for postnatal care of mother and child. These health practices are on decline. The present study highlights the potential of traditional methods of postnatal care and the need for their documentation. These practices if integrated with modern healthcare system could elevate the health status of thousands of ladies and their newborns

    Gingival recession in anterior teeth is a common concern due to esthetic reasons or root sensitivity. Gingival recession, especially in multiple anterior teeth, is of huge concern due to esthetic reasons. Various mucogingival surgeries are available for root coverage. This case report presents a new bridge flap technique, which allows the dentist not only to cover the previously denuded root surfaces but also to increase the zone of attached gingiva at a single step. In this case, a coronally advanced flap along with vestibular deepening technique was used as root coverage procedure for the treatment of multiple recession-type defect. Here, vestibular deepening technique is used to increase the width of the attached gingiva. The predictability of this procedure results in an esthetically healthy periodontium, along with gain in keratinized tissue and good patient′s acceptance

    Context: The state of Gujarat had introduced Extruded Fortified Blended Food, Balbhog, as take-home ration for children 6–35 months of age. The study aimed to understand awareness, availability, and consumption pattern of Balbhog and gain insights on factors influencing its regular use. Aims: This study aims to understand coverage and feeding practices of micronutrient fortified blended food (Balbhog) and determine factors for its regular use. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional survey of 1623 households with children of 6–35 months of age registered in Anganwadi centers was conducted in the four districts of Gujarat. Household and dietary survey were conducted to understand child care and feeding practices at household level. Results: The results showed high awareness about Balbhog (88.6%) among caregivers, with majority reporting using it (81.7%) before. Regular Balbhog consumption (42.2%), however, declined considerably across all population characteristics. Monthly distribution of adequate Balbhog packets, taste of Balbhog preparations, meal frequency of children, and caregivers' participation in the monthly Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) event emerged as strong predictors of regular Balbhog consumption. No disparity in consumption was observed across socioeconomic characteristics of the population. Conclusion: Household feeding practices and ICDS program factors mediated regular use of Balbhog among children. Improving availability of entitled Balbhog packets, raising awareness about Balbhog preparations, and improving child feeding practices could help in increasing Balbhog consumption in the community

    Treatment strategy for guided tissue regeneration in various class II furcation defect: Case series

    Periodontal regeneration is a main aspect in the treatment of teeth affected by periodontitis. Periodontal regeneration in furcation areas is quite challenging, especially when it is in interproximal region. There are several techniques used alone or in combination considered to achieve periodontal regeneration, including the bone grafts or substitutes, guided tissue regeneration (GTR), root surface modification, and biological mediators. Many factors may account for variability in response to regenerative therapy in class II furcation. This case series describes the management of class II furcation defect in a mesial interproximal region of a maxillary tooth and other with a buccal class II furcation of mandibular tooth, with the help of surgical intervention including the GTR membrane and bone graft materials. This combined treatment resulted in healthy periodontium with a radiographic evidence of alveolar bone gain in both cases. This case series demonstrates that proper diagnosis, followed by removal of etiological factors and utilizing the combined treatment modalities will restore health and function of the tooth with the severe attachment loss
