    Signal waveform estimation in the presence of uncertainties about the steering vector

    We consider the problem of signal waveform estimation using an array of sensors where there exist uncertainties about the steering vector of interest. This problem occurs in many situations, including arrays undergoing deformations, uncalibrated arrays, scattering around the source, etc. In this paper, we assume that some statistical knowledge about the variations of the steering vector is available. Within this framework, two approaches are proposed, depending on whether the signal is assumed to be deterministic or random. In the former case, the maximum likelihood (ML) estimator is derived. It is shown that it amounts to a beamforming-like processing of the observations, and an iterative algorithm is presented to obtain the ML weight vector. For random signals, a Bayesian approach is advocated, and we successively derive an (approximate) minimum mean-square error estimator and maximum a posteriori estimators. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the performances of the estimators

    Cession-transmission d'établissements hôteliers : dualité des relations et attitudes managériales combinées des cédants et des repreneurs

    L'objectif de notre étude est de comprendre le processus de transmission et de reprise d'établissements hôteliers de type « familial ». Les contingences financières et fiscales ne sont pas toujours les plus discriminantes en matière de transmission. La difficulté à préparer et céder son entreprise afin de mettre en place une nouvelle direction, apte à en assurer la pérennité, est réelle. Plusieurs particularités émergent telles que l'écart entre l'âge des cédants et celui des repreneurs qui implique souvent des méthodes de travail différentes, le fait « qu'un nouveau dirigeant entre physiquement dans les murs d'une entreprise qu'il ne peut pas connaître, et qu'il a affaire à des salariés habitués à la façon de travailler du cédant » (Deschamps, 2002), ou encore la relation parfois étroite qu'entretiennent certains clients, accoutumés et parfois fidélisés par les services proposés, avec le responsable de l'hôtel. Ainsi, la capacité du dirigeant à préparer la cession de son entreprise puis à en assurer le transfert proprement dit, de même que l'aptitude du repreneur à analyser la situation et le contexte humain et financier de la structure semblent être des facteurs déterminants de réussite. Ainsi, nous nous interrogeons sur les facteurs clés de succès ou d'échec de la cession-transmission d'hôtels de dimension « familiale » souvent fortement sensibles à la dimension humaine (affectif du cédant, habitudes des salariés, besoins des clients, attitude du repreneur, ...). Pour cela, une étude qualimétrique a été conduite sur une population d'hôteliers de 39 établissements. Ainsi, après avoir positionné les bases théoriques de notre problématique concernant la transmission et la reprise de petites entreprises et notamment les aspects de la socialisation organisationnelle, nous présenterons le contexte du secteur et de l'échantillon choisi, puis, nous développerons notre méthode de recherche et les résultats de l'étude qui permettront ensuite, de mettre en évidence certains facteurs de réussite ou d'échec dans la gestion des ressources humaines de la transmission et la reprise d'établissement hôtelier de type « familial ».transmission ; reprise d'établissement ; hôtellerie ; céder entreprise

    La veille sur les ressources humaines : un outil de la mise en œuvre du développement durable ?

    L'hypothèse selon laquelle la veille sur les ressources humaines* (noté par la suite VRH) serait susceptible d'avoir un impact sur la mise en place du développement durable (noté par la suite DD) dans l'entreprise peut légitimement se poser. Nous avons retenu une recherche d'informations réalisée au moyen d'entretiens semi directifs avec guide menée dans 11 organisations différentes afin de vérifier si la VRH a une influence sur la mobilisation, la sensibilisation et l'organisation des acteurs de l'entreprise sources d'améliorations permanentes des pratiques de DD. Les entreprises doivent s'inscrire dans un DD économiquement viable et en ce sens, la mobilisation de leurs ressources humaines peut être un vecteur d'innovation et de changement, évitant parfois de faire appel à des consultants coûteux.veille sur les ressources humaines ; développement durable

Defesa : Curitiba, 23/06/2023Inclui referências: p. 129-157Resumo: A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar as principais características teóricoepistemológicas de teses e dissertações sobre políticas de avaliação em larga escala da alfabetização, defendidas em programas acadêmicos de Pós-Graduação em Educação no Brasil. O referencial teórico baseia-se em uma perspectiva pluralista e tem aportes nas contribuições de autores que discutem sobre a metapesquisa e o enfoque das epistemologias da política educacional (MAINARDES, 2021; MAINARDES; TELLO, 2016; TELLO; MAINARDES, 2015a), as diferentes epistemologias na produção do conhecimento (SÁNCHEZ GAMBOA, 2006; LOSADA; CASAS CASAS, 2008), as políticas de avaliação em larga escala (FREITAS et al., 2019; GATTI, 2013; SCHNEIDER, 2013), e acerca da alfabetização (SOARES, 2019; MORTATTI, 2010). Os procedimentos metodológicos que envolveram a metapesquisa foram: a) levantamento de teses e dissertações sobre políticas de avaliação em larga escala da alfabetização em plataformas da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), no período de 1987 a 2021; b) organização dos trabalhos localizados em categorias; c) análise das características teóricoepistemológicas das teses e dissertações que abordaram a avaliação em larga escala da alfabetização enquanto política educacional, a partir da leitura dos textos na íntegra. As características teórico-epistemológicas analisadas foram as seguintes: nível de abrangência, tipo de pesquisa, perspectiva epistemológica, posicionamento epistemológico, enfoque epistemetodológico, níveis de abstração, referenciais teórico-conceituais sobre política educacional, avaliação em larga escala e alfabetização, elementos da ético-ontoepistemologia. A pesquisa teve como resultado a localização de 87 teses e dissertações que se dedicaram ao estudo da avaliação em larga escala da alfabetização. Esses trabalhos foram organizados em dez categorias. A análise das características teórico-epistemológicas se concentrou nas pesquisas incluídas na Categoria 1 - Avaliação em larga escala da alfabetização enquanto política educacional (24 trabalhos na íntegra). Na análise das características teórico-epistemológicas foi possível concluir que: a) os níveis de abrangência nacional e local foram os mais estudados; b) em relação à abordagem metodológica quanto à natureza dos dados, predominam as pesquisas qualitativas. Quanto às técnicas de coleta e análise de dados, há predominância da combinação de duas ou mais técnicas (teórica, documental e empírica); c) poucos trabalhos fazem a explicitação das suas perspectivas epistemológicas. A perspectiva mais utilizada nos trabalhos é o pluralismo (teorização combinada); d) o posicionamento analítico é o mais presente nas teses e dissertações; e) poucos trabalhos atingem o nível de abstração correspondente ao de compreensão; f) em relação aos aspectos teórico-conceituais sobre política educacional, avaliação em larga escala e alfabetização, foi possível identificar que nem todos os trabalhos elaboraram uma discussão específica sobre política educacional e sobre alfabetização; g) no que diz respeito aos elementos da ético-ontoepistemologia, constatamos que são poucas as pesquisas que trazem uma discussão ou preocupação com a explicitação das questões éticas na pesquisa, bem como dos pressupostos ontológicos. As conclusões desta pesquisa levam a enfatizar a necessidade do aprofundamento das questões teórico-epistemológicas da pesquisa na formação de pesquisadores.Abstract: This research to analyze the main theoretical-epistemological characteristics of theses and dissertations on large-scale literacy assessment policies, defended in academic programs of Graduate Studies in Education in Brazil. The theoretical framework is based on a pluralistic perspective and contributions of authors who discuss metaresearch and the approach of epistemologies of educational policy (MAINARDES, 2021; MAINARDES; TELLO, 2016; TELLO; MAINARDES, 2015a), on the different epistemologies in the production of knowledge (SÁNCHEZ GAMBOA, 2006; LOSADA; CASAS CASAS, 2008), on large-scale assessment policies (FREITAS et al., 2019; GATTI, 2013; SCHNEIDER, 2013), and about literacy (SOARES, 2019; MORTATTI, 2010). The methodological procedures that involved the meta-research were: a) survey of theses and dissertations on large-scale literacy assessment policies in platforms of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), in the period from 1987 to 2021; b) organization of work located in categories; c) analysis of the theoretical-epistemological characteristics of the theses and dissertations that addressed the large-scale evaluation of literacy as an educational policy, from the reading of the texts in full. The theoretical-epistemological characteristics analyzed were the following: level of coverage, type of research, epistemological perspective, epistemological positioning, epistememethodological approach, levels of abstraction, theoretical-conceptual references on educational policy, large-scale evaluation and literacy, elements of ethical-ontoepistemology. The research resulted in the location of 87 theses and dissertations that were dedicated to the study of large-scale assessment of literacy. These works were organized into ten categories. The analysis of the theoretical-epistemological characteristics focused on the researches included in Category 1 - Large-scale evaluation of literacy as an educational policy (24 works in full). In the analysis of the theoretical-epistemological characteristics it was possible to conclude that: a) the levels of national and local coverage were the most studied; b) in relation to the methodological approach regarding the nature of the data, qualitative research predominates. Regarding data collection and analysis techniques, there is a predominance of the combination of two or more techniques (theoretical, documental and empirical); c) few studies make explicit their epistemological perspectives. The most used perspective in the works is pluralism (combined theorizing); d) the analytical positioning is the most present in theses and dissertations; e) few works reach the level of abstraction corresponding to that of comprehension; f) in relation to the theoretical-conceptual aspects of educational policy, large-scale assessment and literacy, it was possible to identify that not all studies elaborated a specific discussion on educational policy and literacy; g) with regard to the elements of ethical-ontoepistemology, we found that there are few studies that bring a discussion or concern with the explicitness of ethical issues in research, as well as ontological assumptions. The conclusions of this research lead to emphasize the need of deepening the theoretical-epistemological issues of research in the training of researchers
