    Specification of business rules for the development of hospital alarm system: application to the pharmaceutical validation.

    6 pagesInternational audienceAlthough clinical alarm systems are part of the knowledge management setting within healthcare organisations, modelling of business processes related to decision support and knowledge representation of decision rules are seldom described. We propose a customization of the Unified Process that takes into account user requirements for clinical alarm systems by introducing the Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules (SBVR). This methodology was applied to the design and implementation of a clinical alarm system for pharmaceutical validation at the European Hospital Georges Pompidou (HEGP). Rules were implemented using the IlogJRules Business Rule Management System. We produced 3 business rules patterns and 427 instances of rules. As SBVR is close to natural language, pharmacists were able to understand rules and participate to their design

    Abstract. The goal of this paper is to enumerate solid 2-trees according to the number of edges (or triangles) and also according to the edge degree distribution. We rst enumerate oriented solid 2-trees using the general methods of the theory of species. In order to obtain non oriented enumeration formulas, we use quotient species which consists in a specialization of Polya theory. Resume. Le but de cet article est d'obtenir l'enumeration des 2-arbres solides selon le nombre d'ar^etes (ou de triangles) ainsi que selon la distribution des degres des ar^etes. Nous obtenons d'abord le denombrement des 2-arbres solides orientes en utilisant les methodes de la theorie des especes. Pour obtenir le denombrement des 2-arbres solides non orientes, nous utilisons la notion d'espece quotient qui provient d'une specialisation delatheorie de Polya. 1

    International audienceInformation relevant to pharmacogenomics studies is available in several open databases, which makes it difficult to synthetize the available data. Within the PractikPharma project, several databases were integrated to PGxLOD, a resource dedicated to the generation and verification of pharmacogenomic influence on drug responses. The Comparative Toxicogenomic Database (CTD) describes the toxic effects of many chemicals on living species based on the literature. Since drugs are peculiar chemicals and side effects are peculiar toxic effects, we aimed at extracting information from CTD that matches drug side effects in the human specie

    Using the “One Shot” Concept for Immediate Loading Implant Protocol in Edentulous Patient Rehabilitation with a Fixed Prosthesis: A 6-Year Follow-Up

    Immediate-loaded implants with a fixed prosthesis are a viable option for the restoration of edentulous ridges. Several procedures now allow for the fabrication of immediate-loading provisional and definitive prostheses. However, this complex treatment is not accessible to all patients with budget restrictions. By using a unique master model with a single titanium framework prosthesis can simplify and shorten the treatment, as well as reduce costs. After surgical placement of implant fixtures, an interim prosthesis was fabricated using a laser-welded definitive titanium framework. The prosthesis was fitted intraorally following the immediate loading protocols. The master cast model used to fabricate interim prosthesis was conserved and subsequently used in modifying the final prosthesis. After the healing process and complete soft tissue stability, an impression was made to register the clearance between the gingiva and resin. The light silicone material was directly injected under the prosthesis screwed in the mouth. In the master cast model, the stone was eliminated between the implants and a new plaster was poured to modify the crest profile with the posthealing new shape. With this modified model, it is possible to rehabilitate the denture to the new gingival anatomy in 3 to 4 hours and, if necessary, the tooth rearrangement. This “one shot” concept combines the single definitive titanium welded framework and limited laboratory work with a unique master model thereby decreasing the cost and the time of treatment
