An approach to standardize, automate omni-channel and AI transactional digital service creation

Our work is at the crossroads of two categories of technologies. On the one hand, omnichannel digit services, to address the needs of users in the most seamless way. On the other hand, low code approaches, to build simply even complex software applications. In this twofold context, we propose DSUL (Digital Service Universal Language). It allows to build omnichannel services with minimal work from their designers. We describe precisely how DSUL operates, and its innovation in regard to the state of the art. We also consider the various methods to evaluate this framework

    Enantioselective Total Synthesis of FD-891

    Get PDF
The enantioselective synthesis of FD-891 has been achieved with a longest linear sequence of 21 steps. The synthetic strategy involves the use of aldol additions of a chlorotitanium enolate of N-acylthiazolidinethiones as the key reaction to establish 6 of the 10 stereogenic centers. A key cross-metathesis and a late-stage Julia olefination serve to assemble three key subunits

Presentation and Preliminary Results of DROÏD Project: Development of a Distributed Optical Fibre Dosimeter

    Get PDF
International audienceABSTRACT DROÏD project is intended to develop a distributed optical fibre dosimeter based on Radiation-Induced Attenua-tion (RIA). The RIA will be measured by a high resolution Optical Time Domain Reflectometry (OTDR) technique that allows to locate the irradiated fibre section. The first part of the project focuses on designing a high radiation sensitive fibre. As a preliminary work, the attenu-ation of several fibres with various compositions has been recorded in situ during and after irradiation. The experimental setup and RIA values are presented and discussed. Several dopants and their combinations have been identified as a good starting point to design a highly radiation sensitive fibre

In the face of different natural hazards combined with rising water levels, how should we rethink our modes of existence? The municipality of Le Prêcheur, located in Northern Caribbean region of Martinique, is subject to a wide variety of recurring natural events and living in such an environment entails potential risks. Environmental questions linked to these risks and land tenure issues relating to informal housing will have to be taken into consideration in future urban planning and land use projects. At the crossroads of ecology and economics, the dynamics of the natural environment provide data which need to be used in urban planning. In a fragile context, an urban planning project cannot be represented in a single set form. Climatic events and societies evolve over time making it necessary to accept the initiation of a process that may only be continued by future generations if it is implemented as from today. The project is intended to achieve its goals by 2100 and to be implemented by means of tools fostering joint actions by residents and elected representatives to build a vision of the future for Le Prêcheur

To determine whether molecular parameters could be partly responsible for resistance or sensitivity to oxaliplatin (OX)-based chemotherapy used as first-line treatment in advanced colorectal cancer (CRC). We studied the usefulness of the excision repair cross-complementing 1 (ERCC1), xeroderma pigmentosum group D (XPD), XRCC1 and GSTP1 polymorphisms as predictors of clinical outcome in these patients. We treated 126 CRC patients with a first-line OX/5-fluorouracil chemotherapeutic regimen. Genetic polymorphisms were determined by real-time PCR on an ABI PRISM 7000, using DNA from peripheral blood. Clinical response (CR), progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were evaluated according to each genotype. In the univariate analysis for CR, ERCC1-118 and XPD 751 polymorphisms were significant (P=0.02 and P=0.05, respectively). After adjustment for the most relevant clinical variables, only ERCC1-118 retained significance (P=0.008). In the univariate analysis for PFS, ERCC1-118 and XPD 751 were significant (P=0.003 and P=0.009, respectively). In the multivariant analysis, only the XPD 751 was significant for PFS (P=0.02). Finally, ERCC1-118 and XPD 751 polymorphisms were significant in the univariate analysis for OS (P=0.006 and P=0.015, respectively). Both genetic variables remained significant in the multivariate Cox survival analysis (P=0.022 and P=0.03). Our data support the hypothesis that enhanced DNA repair diminishes the benefit of platinum-based treatments
