Los pteridofitos del delta del Okavango, Botsuana (sur de Africa)

The Okavango Delta in Botswana constitutes one of the larger inland deltas in the world. Fifteen species of fern were found in this ecological system integrated into 10 genera and 9 families. Included in this report are descriptions of each family, genus and species. Also given are artificial keys to the genera, as well as keys for genera and species within the family when necessary. Prevalence of hypertension: race and educational level

La prevalencia de hipertensión (27,5 %) en la Empresa Productora de Bicicletas "Claudio Arguelles", se relacionó con el nivel de escolaridad y el color de la piel. Se halló una mayor prevalencia de hipertensión en individuos con escolaridad más alta. Lo mismo ocurrió para la raza negra, aunque las diferencias obtenidas entre los grupos no fueron estadísticamente significativas. El 58 % de los hipertensos fueron detectados en esta investigación.The prevalence of hypertension (27.5 %) at the "Claudio Argüelles" Bicycles Factory was related to the educational level and the color of the skin. A greater prevalence of hypertension was found among those with the highest educational level. The same thing was observed in the black individuals, although the differences between the 2 groups were not significant. 58 % of hypertensives were detected in this research
