modulators. The salient features of this methodology ar
e: (a) flexible behavioral modeling for optimum accuracy-
efficiency trade-offs at different stages of the top-down
synthesis process; (b) direct synthesis in the continuous-time
domain for minimum circuit complexity and sensitivity; a
nd (c) mixed knowledge-based and optimization-based architec-
tural exploration and specification transmission for enhanced
circuit performance. The applicability of this methodology
will be illustrated via the design of a 12 bit 20 MHz CT

Profiling Dating Apps Users: Sociodemographic and Personality Characteristics
The development of new technologies, the expansion of the Internet, and the emergence of dating apps (e.g., Tinder, Grindr) in recent years have changed the way to meet and approach potential romantic and/or sexual partners. The recent phenomenon has led to some gaps in the literature on individual differences (sociodemographic variables and personality traits) between users (previous and current users) and non-users of dating apps. Thus, the aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between using dating apps, sociodemographics (gender, age, sexual orientation, and relationship status), and bright and dark personality traits. Participants were 1705 university students (70% women, 30% men), aged between 18 and 26 (M = 20.60, SD = 2.09), who completed several online questionnaires. Through multinomial logistic regression analyses, it was found that men, older youth, and members of sexual minorities were more likely to be current and previous dating apps users. Being single and higher scores in open-mindedness were associated with higher probability to be current dating apps user. The dark personality showed no predictive ability. The discussion highlights the usefulness of knowing and considering the sociodemographic background and the characteristics of personality patterns in the design and implementation of preventive and promotion programs of healthy romantic and sexual relationships to improve people’s better health and well-being
Sociosexuality and bright and dark personality: the prediction of behavior, attitude, and desire to engage in casual sex
Research about sociosexuality, understood as differences in people’s willingness to have sex without commitment in terms of its predictors, such as demographics, relationship status, or individual traits, such as personality, is still scarce. Although sociosexuality was initially considered unidimensional, a tridimensional structure—with behavior, attitudes, and desire as its components—is gaining momentum in the literature nowadays. The present study proposes to develop different predictive models for each dimension, examining the role of personality (i.e., the “Big Five” and the “Dark Tetrad”) and sociodemographic variables. Participants were 991 university students from a Spanish university (75.5% women, 72.0% heterosexual, Mage = 20.66). Our results provide evidence that predictors of sociosexuality vary depending on the dimension under analysis. Being female, older, not having a heterosexual orientation, and not being involved in a current relationship predicted higher scores in sociosexual behavior and attitudes. Regarding personality, psychopathy and extraversion were the only traits involved in all three components of sociosexuality. Neuroticism, agreeableness, and conscientiousness also play a role in the prediction of some of the sociosexuality dimensions. These results help to disentangle the relationship between personality and sociosexuality and to design more effective programs and policies to promote sexual health
Babel
Babel, finalist Project in the third edition of the International Competition of Urban Gardens,
BilbaoJardín 2011, is presented as a space for social interaction, belonging to a network of
specific actions with an ephemeral character, which are located in different squares in the city of
Bilbao.
The purpose of this action is to activate and stimulate the consolidated urban space, through
the disposition of an habitable installation, which generates a new identity to the public space,
promoting citizens implication in the creative process, awareness of the need of recycling
materials, as well as respect and care of the new public space which is offered.
Babel is also a process of investigation with a methodology which is developed basically in four
areas: multidisciplinary teams formation, creation of a virtual informative platform, development
of prototypes and the citizen participation. These areas feed one another, which benefits people
who take part in it, and consequently, the proposal.
The proposal starts from a flexible project as an essential part of its nature, which is able to
adapt itself to the environmental conditions and to the context of its future sitting. The
decontextualised reality of the regulations of the completion allows the unusual design of the
project, which implies its interpretation as a part of a cycle, an open material process in which
the citizens assume a creative and productive role, obtaining a result which is susceptible of
being transformed through its useful life.
We understand that developing the creative process previous a physical and spatial
construction implies the enrichment of the people who take part in it and a substantial
improvement of the proposal. Therefore, it has been reached a better understanding,
acceptance and valuation of the public space by active and participative citizens
Production of Docosahexaenoic Acid and Odd-Chain Fatty Acids by Microalgae Schizochytrium limacinum Grown on Waste-Derived Volatile Fatty Acids
Heterotrophic microalgae are recognized as a source of bioactive compounds. However, there are still some drawbacks for their use at an industrial scale associated with the high cost of glucose, the main carbon source in heterotrophic cultures. In recent years, significant efforts have been made to investigate more sustainable carbon sources to produce biomass. In this study, the capacity of Schizochytrium limacinum to grow on waste-derived volatile fatty acids and the effect that their use produces on biomass and fatty acids profiles were investigated. Acetic, propionic, butyric, valeric and caproic acid were evaluated independently, as well as in a synthetic mixture (VFA). The use of acetic and butyric resulted in a good biomass productivity, while the use of valeric and propionic acid resulted in higher content of odd-chain fatty acids (OCFA), increasingly investigated due to their potential benefits for human health. The use of industrial waste-derived VFA as a potential carbon source was validated through the utilization of biowaste derived effluents from a volatile fatty acid platform. The biomass produced was of 18.5 g/L, 54.0% lipids, 46.3% docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and 25.0% OCFA, concluding that waste derived VFA can produce DHA and OCFA in a suitable ratio of DHA/OCFA with potential industrial applications. The authors would like to thank the European project VOLATILE. The Federated Practice of Soccer Influences Hamstring Flexibility in Healthy Adolescents: Role of Age and Weight Status
The aim of this study was to compare the hamstring flexibility between federated soccer and non-federated adolescents, and also to evaluate the effect of age and weight status on hamstring flexibility. The participants were 234 students (11-18 years old) divided into: (i) G1: non-federated (n = 127), and (ii) G2: federated in soccer (n = 107). The deep flexion of the trunk (DF) test and the sit and reach test (SRT) were performed. G2 showed higher values for the DF and SRT compared to G1 (p < 0.05). Both flexibility tests correlated positively (r = 0.4, p < 0.001). Body mass index (BMI) was negatively correlated with the DF test (r = -0.3, p < 0.001), but not with the SRT. Divided by BMI, the underweight and normal weight groups had higher scores in the DF test compared with the overweight and obese groups (p < 0.001). BMI was negatively correlated with hamstring flexibility. Federated soccer students present higher scores of hamstring flexibility

Cybersecurity Alert Prioritization in a Critical High Power Grid With Latent Spaces
High-Power electric grid networks require extreme security in their associated telecommunication
network to ensure protection and control throughout power transmission. Accordingly, supervisory
control and data acquisition systems form a vital part of any critical infrastructure, and the safety of
the associated telecommunication network from intrusion is crucial. Whereas events related to operation
and maintenance are often available and carefully documented, only some tools have been proposed to
discriminate the information dealing with the heterogeneous data from intrusion detection systems and
to support the network engineers. In this work, we present the use of deep learning techniques, such as
Autoencoders or conventional Multiple Correspondence Analysis, to analyze and prune the events on power
communication networks in terms of categorical data types often used in anomaly and intrusion detection
(such as addresses or anomaly description). This analysis allows us to quantify and statistically describe highseverity
events. Overall, portions of alerts around 5-10% have been prioritized in the analysis as first to handle
by managers. Moreover, probability clouds of alerts have been shown to configure explicit manifolds in latent
spaces. These results offer a homogeneous framework for implementing anomaly detection prioritization in
power communication networks
