The present work analyzed how teachers from the municipal teaching network of Juiz
de Fora work in their classes with the theme of enslavement that occurred in the region.
Starting from the present time, official curriculum documents were observed, curricula for the
curricular component of History, documents that define Education for Ethnic-racial Relations
in basic education as mandatory. It also investigates how these teachers who work or worked
in Basic Education in the city of Juiz de Fora observe the presence or absence of elements that
evoke the memory of enslavement that occurred in this region, as well as incite observations
about the present in terms of ethnic-racial inequalities inside and outside school
environments. The methodology chosen for data collection was semi-structured interviews,
seeking to correlate the official curriculum documentation on Education for ethnic-racial
relations, such as law 10.639/03 and the curriculum proposal of the Juiz de Fora Department
of Education to the curricular component of History with the observations of teachers from
the municipal teaching network. The bibliographic choice was based on Brazilian and black
authors, in addition to a preference for decolonial theories. Therefore, the research aims to
contribute to the reflection on memories, cultures, imaginaries and everyday life, in addition
to thinking about how these are organized and influence the local History Teaching,
discussing issues such as silencing, curriculum and participation of blacks in the sociocultural
construction, in the development economy of the city and opening the possibility of thinking
about Brazilian education in its entirety. In addition, it also addresses possible remnants left
by the institution of slavery in the present time, through the voice and experience of subjects
inserted in the daily life of the city.O presente trabalho analisou como docentes da rede municipal de ensino de Juiz de
Partindo do
BIODIESEL PRODUCTION BY ETHYLIC AND METHYLIC ROUTE BASED ON FACTORIAL DESIGN
The analysis carried out in this research had as objective the development
of a process for the bench-scale production of biodiesel. The reaction was
produced by the alkaline transesterification method, in which the reagents
were subjected to a temperature of 60 ± 2°C, maintaining constant mechanical
agitation. From a factorial experimental design, we evaluated the maximum
and minimum levels of three variables: catalyst, molar ratio, and reaction
time, combining their effects without altering the response quality, verifying
the yields, and interpreting the possible variations based on statistical
treatments to justify which one has the best performance. As the main
point, two alcohols were used, one imported (methanol) that underwent a
high-quality process, and another with a large national production capacity
(ethanol). The research emerges as a way to reinforce the statement that
biodiesel is one of the solutions to mitigate environmental impacts and
socioeconomically contribute to the country. However, the production cost
is higher than that of diesel derived from petroleum; thus, ensuring the best process conditions will decrease the operational costs and the costs for the end consumer. The variable with the most influence was the amount of catalyst for the synthesis of ethyl and methyl biodiesel. However, the yields for the B2 and B8 tests did not show a significant difference at the 5% level according to the Tukey test, and the highest yield was achieved by the B7 test (97.44%), using methanol at a 1:9 molar ratio and 0.5% catalyst in 90 minutes of reaction. After the research to determine the best process conditions to promote the production and use of biofuel, we concluded that the methyl route led to more satisfactory results and higher yields.
Reinfecção da Covid-19 em neonatos e crianças: revisão de literatura : Reinfection of Covid-19 in neonates and children: literature review
Multidifferential study of identified charged hadron distributions in -tagged jets in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV
Jet fragmentation functions are measured for the first time in proton-proton
collisions for charged pions, kaons, and protons within jets recoiling against
a boson. The charged-hadron distributions are studied longitudinally and
transversely to the jet direction for jets with transverse momentum 20 GeV and in the pseudorapidity range . The
data sample was collected with the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy
of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.64 fb. Triple
differential distributions as a function of the hadron longitudinal momentum
fraction, hadron transverse momentum, and jet transverse momentum are also
measured for the first time. This helps constrain transverse-momentum-dependent
fragmentation functions. Differences in the shapes and magnitudes of the
measured distributions for the different hadron species provide insights into
the hadronization process for jets predominantly initiated by light quarks.Comment: All figures and tables, along with machine-readable versions and any

Study of the decay
The decay is studied
in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of TeV
using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5

Search for the doubly charmed baryon Ω cc +
Abstract: A search for the doubly charmed baryon Ωcc+ with the decay mode Ωcc+ → Ξc+K−π+ is performed using proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the LHCb experiment from 2016 to 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb−1. No significant signal is observed within the invariant mass range of 3.6 to 4.0GeV/c2. Upper limits are set on the ratio R of the production cross-section times the total branching fraction of the Ωcc+ → Ξc+K−π+ decay with respect to the Ξcc++→Λc+K−π+π+ decay. Upper limits at 95% credibility level for R in the range 0.005 to 0.11 are obtained for different hypotheses on the Ωcc+ mass and lifetime in the rapidity range from 2.0 to 4.5 and transverse momentum range from 4 to 15 GeV/c

Prevalence, associated factors and outcomes of pressure injuries in adult intensive care unit patients: the DecubICUs study
Funder: European Society of Intensive Care Medicine; doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.13039/501100013347Funder: Flemish Society for Critical Care NursesAbstract: Purpose: Intensive care unit (ICU) patients are particularly susceptible to developing pressure injuries. Epidemiologic data is however unavailable. We aimed to provide an international picture of the extent of pressure injuries and factors associated with ICU-acquired pressure injuries in adult ICU patients. Methods: International 1-day point-prevalence study; follow-up for outcome assessment until hospital discharge (maximum 12 weeks). Factors associated with ICU-acquired pressure injury and hospital mortality were assessed by generalised linear mixed-effects regression analysis. Results: Data from 13,254 patients in 1117 ICUs (90 countries) revealed 6747 pressure injuries; 3997 (59.2%) were ICU-acquired. Overall prevalence was 26.6% (95% confidence interval [CI] 25.9–27.3). ICU-acquired prevalence was 16.2% (95% CI 15.6–16.8). Sacrum (37%) and heels (19.5%) were most affected. Factors independently associated with ICU-acquired pressure injuries were older age, male sex, being underweight, emergency surgery, higher Simplified Acute Physiology Score II, Braden score 3 days, comorbidities (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, immunodeficiency), organ support (renal replacement, mechanical ventilation on ICU admission), and being in a low or lower-middle income-economy. Gradually increasing associations with mortality were identified for increasing severity of pressure injury: stage I (odds ratio [OR] 1.5; 95% CI 1.2–1.8), stage II (OR 1.6; 95% CI 1.4–1.9), and stage III or worse (OR 2.8; 95% CI 2.3–3.3). Conclusion: Pressure injuries are common in adult ICU patients. ICU-acquired pressure injuries are associated with mainly intrinsic factors and mortality. Optimal care standards, increased awareness, appropriate resource allocation, and further research into optimal prevention are pivotal to tackle this important patient safety threat
