Systematic Review of International Student Mobility in Higher Education
In this study, it is aimed to examine systematically the articles published in the Web Of Science database between 1997-2023 in the field of educational sciences and social sciences related to student mobility. Articles on international student mobility increased significantly after Covid-19. Articles on equal opportunities and Erasmus student mobility received the most citations. The most used keywords in the articles are higher education, education mobility and international students, while the least used keyword is distinction. Journal of Higher Education was the journal that publishes the most articles on the subject. Most articles were published in the field of educational research. International student mobility has been evaluated to a limited extent in terms of sociology, psychology and educational administration. In the published articles, the issue was generally evaluated within the framework of quality in education. The number of articles published on equality of opportunity in education was quite low

SPSS sofware programme was used to analyse the data. The results of the study show that students had positive opinion during their study and they retured back with different experience even they had to encounter some academic problems.
Security and Privacy in Three States of Information
In regard to computational context, information can be in either of three states at a time: in transit, in process, or in storage. When the security and privacy of information is of concern, each of these states should be addressed exclusively, i.e., network security, computer security, and database/cloud security, respectively. This chapter first introduces the three states of information and then addresses the security as well as privacy issues that relate to each state. It provides practical examples for each state discussed, introduces corresponding security and privacy algorithms for explaining the concepts, and facilitates their implementation whenever needed. Moreover, the security and privacy techniques pertaining to the three states of information are combined together to offer a more comprehensive and realistic consideration of everyday security practices
The impact of ESG performance over financial performance: A study on global energy and power generation companies
This study aims to analyze the impact of ESG performance over the financial performance of global energy and power generation companies which are considered as one of the most sensitive industries. The study explores the effect of ESG performance over the financial performance of the corporations operating business in sensitive industries such as energy and power generation firms regarding the profitability and market value of the companies using panel data regression. ESG performance data and financial data of 192 energy and power generation firms from 2008 to 2019 were taken from Thomson Reuters Eikon database for the statistical analyses. The findings suggest that ESG performance has both positive and significant impacts over the profitability of the firms but negative impact over the market value of the firms. Besides, ESG performance is correlated in a significant way with the financial performance of energy and power generation corporations. This study adds value and importance to the sustainable business practice and sustainability reporting for the energy and power generation companies worldwide. Moreover, the findings of the study would assist the relevant investors, business analysts, industry regulators, policymakers, and decision-makers all other stakeholders who are interested in ESG and sustainability to take noteworthy decisions
The Relationship between Argumentation Skills and Cognitive Flexibility of Pre-Service Science Teachers
The present study aims to investigate the relationship between pre-service science teachers' argumentation skills and cognitive flexibility levels. Within the scope of the study, an argumentation-based science laboratory application was applied to first year science teaching students for 4 weeks. The arguments were assessed by eight faculty members and doctoral students. The Argumentation Assessment Rubric (Choi, 2008) was used to assess the quality of the written arguments. The quality of the arguments and descriptions used by the students in the reports were evaluated as total writing scores. The “Cognitive Flexibility Inventory” developed by Dennis and Vander Wal (2010) was employed to assess the cognitive flexibility levels of pre-service teachers. Simple Correlation analysis and Simple Linear Regression analysis methods were used to determine the relationship between the sub-dimensions of cognitive flexibility inventory and argumentation skills of pre-service science teachers and the effect of cognitive flexibility levels on argumentation skills. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between pre-service teachers’ cognitive flexibility levels and argumentation skills
Determinants of the Switching of Initial Majors Among Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students make an important decision when they select a major to enter a field at the start of their academic education, and eventually a career (Porter & Umbach, 2006). After declaring their major, however, switching away from the initially declared major is quite common among students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Given that STEM fields play an essential role in a nation’s economy by promoting innovation and advancing technological developments, detecting factors that motivate students to switch in or out of STEM fields calls for attention. The present study aims to investigate factors that may affect ERAU undergraduate students’ initial major selection and major switching with the use of educational data mining (EDM) techniques. The study is a work-in-progress and we hypothesized that national admission test scores, high school GPA and several socio-demographics including gender and ethnicity/race are related to the initial major choice. Preliminary findings of the study will be presented and discussed in the light of existing research studies as the early detection of factors that lead to major switching could help with student retention, especially in STEM fields, promote timely graduation, and support the efforts of institutions to develop evidence-based preventative strategies
