Obfuscation-based malware update: A comparison of manual and automated methods
Indexación: Scopus; Web of Science.This research presents a proposal of malware classification and its update based on capacity and obfuscation. This article is an extension of [4]a, and describes the procedure for malware updating, that is, to take obsolete malware that is already detectable by antiviruses, update it through obfuscation techniques and thus making it undetectable again. As the updating of malware is generally performed manually, an automatic solution is presented together with a comparison from the standpoint of cost and processing time. The automated method proved to be more reliable, fast and less intensive in the use of resources, specially in terms of antivirus analysis and malware functionality checking times.http://univagora.ro/jour/index.php/ijccc/article/view/2961/112
Datasets for transcriptomics, q-proteomics and phenotype microarrays of polyphosphate metabolism mutants from Escherichia coli

By integrating different omics levels (transcriptome, proteome and phenome), we were able to study Escherichia coli polyphosphate mutant strains (Δppk1, Δppx, and Δppk1-ppx). Collapse of the ESR fine structure throughout the coherent temperature of the Gd-doped Kondo Semiconductor
Experiments on the Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) in the filled
skutterudite (), at temperatures
where the host resistivity manifests a smooth insulator-metal crossover,
provides evidence of the underlying Kondo physics associated with this system.
At low temperatures (below ), behaves
as a Kondo-insulator with a relatively large hybridization gap, and the
ESR spectra displays a fine structure with lorentzian line shape,
typical of insulating media. The electronic gap is attributed to the large
hybridization present in the coherent regime of a Kondo lattice, when Ce
4f-electrons cooperate with band properties at half-filling. Mean-field
calculations suggest that the electron-phonon interaction is fundamental at
explaining the strong 4f-electron hybridization in this filled skutterudite.
The resulting electronic structure is strongly temperature dependent, and at
about the system undergoes an insulator-to-metal
transition induced by the withdrawal of 4f-electrons from the Fermi volume, the
system becoming metallic and non-magnetic. The ESR fine structure
coalesces into a single dysonian resonance, as in metals. Still, our
simulations suggest that exchange-narrowing via the usual Korringa mechanism,
alone, is not capable of describing the thermal behavior of the ESR spectra in
the entire temperature region ( - K). We propose that temperature
activated fluctuating-valence of the Ce ions is the missing ingredient that,
added to the usual exchange-narrowing mechanism, fully describes this unique
temperature dependence of the ESR fine structure observed in

A spatially-structured PCG method for content diversity in a Physics-based simulation game
This paper presents a spatially-structured evolutionary algorithm (EA) to procedurally generate game maps of di ferent levels of di ficulty to be solved, in Gravityvolve!, a physics-based simulation videogame that we have implemented and which is inspired by the n-
body problem, a classical problem in the fi eld of physics and mathematics. The proposal consists of a steady-state EA whose population is partitioned into three groups according to the di ficulty of the generated content (hard, medium or easy) which can be easily adapted to handle the automatic creation of content of diverse nature in other games. In addition, we present three fitness functions, based on multiple criteria (i.e:, intersections, gravitational acceleration and simulations), that were used experimentally to conduct the search process for creating a database of

Trion dynamics in coupled double quantum wells. Electron density effects
We have studied the coherent dynamics of injected electrons when they are
either free or bounded both in excitons and in trions (charged excitons). We
have considered a remotely doped asymmetric double quantum well where an excess
of free electrons and the direct created excitons generate trions. We have used
the matrix density formalism to analyze the electron dynamics for different
concentration of the three species. Calculations show a significant
modification of the free electron inter-sublevel oscillations cWe have studied
the coherent dynamics of injected electrons when they are aused by electrons
bound in excitons and trions. Based on the present calculations we propose a
method to detect trions through the emitted electromagnetic radiation or the
