Scenarios in Multi-objective Optimisation of Process Parameters for Sustainable Machining

Sustainable machining needs to consider multiple objectives for fulfilling environmental and economic requirements. Pareto front usually employed to present multi-objective optimisation results. However, the Pareto fronts are difficult to understand and inefficient when there are more than 2 objectives. This problem is addressed in this paper, by enumerating and characterising all the 128 scenarios in sustainable machining operation involving 7 objectives including energy, cost, time, power, cutting force, tool life and surface finish. Results show that all the scenarios can be converted to single-objective situation which has a unique solution or a set of conflicting bi -objective cases which can be represented as a single Pareto front

PENERAPAN METODE ARIAS (ASSURANCE, RELEVANCE, INTEREST, ASSESSMENT, DAN SATISFACTION) DENGAN MENGOPTIMALKAN ALAT PERAGA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SEBAGAI UPAYA PENING KATAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIKA SISWA (PTK Kelas VII SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta Tahun Ajaran 2010/2011)

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah meningkatkan komunikasi matematika siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan metode ARIAS (assurance, relevance, interest, assessment, dan satisfaction) dengan mengoptimalkan alat peraga. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIG SMP Al-Islam 1 Surakarta yang berjumlah 38 siswa, sedangkan obyek penelitian ini adalah peningkatan komunikasi matematika siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Untuk menjamin validitas data digunakan teknik triangulasi. Teknik analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan komunikasi matematika siswa yang dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya indikator komunikasi matematika: (a) menghubungkan konsep matematika dengan situasi nyata sebelum tindakan 7,89% dan setelah tindakan 50,00%, (b) menyatakan peristiwa sehari-hari dalam bahasa matematika sebelum tindakan 5,26% dan setelah tindakan 55,26%, (c) berdiskusi tentang matematika sebelum tindakan sebesar 21,05% dan setelah tindakan 68,42%, (d) mengemukakan ide matematika sebelum tindakan 5,26% dan setelah tindakan 36,84%, (e) mendengarkan penjelasan guru atau pendapat teman sebelum tindakan 28,95% dan setelah tindakan 78,95%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran matematika melalui metode ARIAS (assurance, relevance, interest, assessment, dan satisfaction) dengan mengoptimalkan alat peraga mampu meningkatkan komunikasi matematika siswa

Comparison of different optimization and process control procedures

This paper includes a comparison of different optimization methods, used for optimizing the cutting conditions during milling. It includes also a part of using soft computer techniques in process control procedures. Milling is a cutting procedure dependent of a number of variables. These variables are dependent from each other in consequence, if we change one variable, the others change too. PSO and GA algorithm are applied to the CNC milling program to improve cutting conditions, improve end finishing, reduce tool wear and reduce the stress on the tool, the machine and the machined part. Platform for Monitoring and Comparing Machining Processes in Terms of Energy Efficiency

This paper presents a smart energy consumption monitoring platform for machining processes with a unique electrical energy consumption indicator (EECI) for the evaluation and comparison of machining processes in terms of energy efficiency. The purpose of the developed smart monitoring platform with the integrated EECI and the Industry 4.0 digital technologies is to raise the level of efficiency of the machining process and thus to stimulate more sustainable and environmentally friendly machining. The energy consumption monitoring of a milling process is performed by connecting a machine tool with integrated sensors for measuring electrical power and cutting force to a cloud platform by using resources for signal acquiring and data acquisition. The platform includes applications for energy consumption monitoring and/or analysis. Results of four machining experiments are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed energy consumption monitoring in machining and the applicability of the newly introduced EECI at the engineering and the operational level

PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN CANGKANG KERANG DARAH (Anadara granosa) YANG MENGANDUNG CaCO3 TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN KELULUSHIDUPAN IKAN MAS KOI KI BEKKO (Cyprinus caprio L)

The research was conducted in Aquaculture Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty of Asahan University. This research was implemented in Maret until April 2019. Design  used in this research was randomized complete design (RAL) with 6 replications. The treatment was gived is S0 = 0 g/litre, S1 = 60 g/ litre, S2 = 120 g/ litre, S3 = 180 g/ litre. Parametre was observed is  maintenance water quality and survival of koi fish (fish length and fish weight). The results showed that giving blood clam shell flour had an effect on the growth of Ki Bekko koi carp with a length of up to 6.68 cm and a weight of up to 3.87 g at a dose of 120 g / liter. The provision of blood clam shell flour affected the survival of Ki Bekko koi carp with a survival rate of 73.33% with an optimal dose of 120 g / liter. PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN CANGKANG KERANG DARAH (Anadara granosa) YANG MENGANDUNG CaCO3TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN TINGKAT KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP IKAN KOI (Cyprinus caprio L)KIBEKKO PADA MEDIA PEMELIHARAAN

Pengelolaan kualitas air sangat diperlukan dalam pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan, dengan pH dan kualitas air yang baik akan membuat ikan koi (Cyprinus caprio L) kibekko berkembang dengan baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan cangkang kerang darah yang diperoleh di daerah Kabupaten Batubara, Sumatera Utara sebagai media kultur untuk meningkatkan kualitas air dengan 4 perlakuan dan 6 kali ulangan. Konsentrasi cangkang kerang darah yang digunakan adalah 0 g/liter, 60 g/liter, 120 g/liter , dan 180 g/liter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan cangkang kerang darah ke dalam media kultur memiliki efek yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan, kelangsungan hidup , dan kualitas air ikan koi.  Panjang ikan dengan dosis 0 g/liter (S1) yaitu 7,32 cm, S2 (120 g/liter air/toples) yaitu 6,68 cm, S3 (180 g/liter air/toples) yaitu 6,13 cm dan S1 (60 g/liter air/toples) yaitu 4,80. Penambahan berat ikan koi  dosis 0 g/liter air/toples (S1) yaitu 5,36 g, sangat berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan S2 (120 g/liter air/toples) yaitu 3,87 g, S3 (180 g/liter air/toples) yaitu 3,19 g dan S1 (60 g/liter air/toples) yaitu 2,16 g. Kelangsungan hidup dengan dosis 120 g/liter (S2) yaitu sebesar 73,33%, sangat berbeda nyata dengtan perlakuan S1 (60 g/liter) yaitu sebesar 66,67%, S3 (180 g/liter) yaitu sebesar 43,33% dan S0 (0 g/liter) yaitu sebesar 36,67% yang merupakan tingkat kelangsungan hidup yang terendah. Suhu pada setiap perlakuan 29oC, pH 8, untuk Do, Nitrat dan nitrit  terdapat diperlakuan S2 (120 g), dan amonia tertinggi terdapat apada kontrol

Propuesta de diseño organizacional para la empresa cifras asesorías y proyectos Ciaspro S.A.S. de la ciudad de Pasto – Nariño

En un mercado cada vez más competitivo contar con una estructura organizacional bien definida cobra mucha importancia para lograr mantenerse y mejorar la posición en el mercado de la empresa y así cumplir con sus objetivos. Partiendo de que en Cifras Asesorías y Proyectos CIASPRO SAS la dirección de la empresa se ha desarrollado de una forma empírica, se han presentado dificultades al momento de enfrentarse a los nuevos retos que le plantea el mercado. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es realizar el diseño organizacional para el funcionamiento de la empresa Cifras Asesorías y Proyectos CIASPRO S.A.S. de la ciudad de Pasto – Nariño, definiendo el direccionamiento estratégico de la empresa, el diseño de cargos y perfiles ocupacionales, la elaboración mapa de procesos y el manual de procedimientos y, por último, la postulación de estándares de evaluación del desempeño para llevar un control efectivo de todo. Se llevaron a cabo entrevistas a profundidad, encuestas con la propietaria y los demás miembros, además con la observación directa en el trabajo diario dentro de la empresa, con lo cual se buscó diagnosticar la situación actual de la empresa y proponer las mejores soluciones que se adapten a sus necesidades específicas.In an increasingly competitive market, having a well-defined organizational structure becomes crucial to maintain and improve the company's market position and meet its objectives.
