Staphylococcus Efflux msr(A) Gene Characterized in Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Corynebacterium, and Pseudomonas Isolates

The staphylococcal msr(A) gene, coding for a macrolide efflux protein, was identified in three new gram-positive genera and one gram-negative genus.
