    Evaluationsbericht - Auswertung der Befragung zum Kinästhetikprojekt

    Untersucht wurde die Wirkung des Schulungsprojektes zur strukturierten Einführung von Kinästhetik im Pflegedienst am Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg (1998 - 2003). Die Evaluation bezieht sich auf die 1998 im PDL-Gremium verabschiedete Projektbeschreibung (vgl. BUGE, LEBERT, 1998). Mit einer schriftlichen Befragung von 329 Schulungsteilnehmern der letzten drei Jahre wurde folgenden Fragen nachgegangen: 1. Welche Wirkung hat das Kinästhetikprojekt auf das Entlastungsempfinden der Schulungsteilnehmer? 2. Welche Wirkungen nehmen die geschulten Mitarbeiter bei der Anwendung von Kinästhetik bezüglich Aktivierung und Schmerzempfinden beim Patienten wahr? 3. Hat das Kinästhetikprojekt nach Einschätzung der Mitarbeiter Einfluss auf Organisation und Berufsgruppen übergreifende Teamarbeit im Pflegealltag? Dazu können folgende Ergebnisse formuliert werden: 1. Die Kinästhetikschulung ermöglicht eine deutliche körperliche Entlastung in den relevanten Belastungssituationen. 2. Gleichzeitig erleben die Anwender in genau diesen relevanten Belastungssituationen eine deutliche Übernahme von Eigenaktivität durch die Patienten. 3. Die Einführung von Kinästhetik als Bewegungskonzept im Pflegealltag hat Einfluss auf den "Pflegezeitbedarf". Das Erleben eines erhöhten Zeitbedarfs wird gleichzeitig mit der Aussage verbunden, dass der erhöhte Zeitaufwand durch pflegetherapeutische Wirkungen entsteht, die zur Steigerung der Pflegequalität und zur unter Punkt 1. und 2. genannten Personalentlastung und Patientenaktivierung führen

    ANALISIS STRES KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. PIKIRAN RAKYAT

    Sumber daya manusia mempunyai peran yang sangat penting sebagai pelaksana dari fungsi-fungsi manajemen. Keberhasilan atau kegagalan pelaksanaan fungsi-fungsi manajemen tersebut sangat bergantung pada kualitas manusia yang menjalankannya. Fenomena dalam penelitian ini adalah turunnya jumlah pembaca surat kabar yang berbanding terbalik dengan jumlah perusahaan surat kabar yang terus bermunculan. Fenomena ini diduga dapat menimbulkan stres kerja bagi karyawan perusahaan surat kabar, untuk itu peneliti melakukan survey yang dilakukan di awal penelitian tentang fenomena tersebut untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi stres karyawan perusahaan surat kabar seiring dengan fenomena yang terjadi saat ini. Dari hasil survey di awal penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa tingkat stres kerja karyawan berada pada kategori sedang. Untuk itu perlu diadakan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mengetahui tingkat stres kerja pada keseluruhan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Pikiran Rakyat yang berlokasi di Jln. Asia-Afrika No 77 dengan sampel sebanyak 63 responden. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi tingkat stres kerja pada karyawan pada PT. Pikiran Rakyat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat stres kerja karyawan PT. Pikiran Rakyat berada di kategori sedang, stres kerja pada kategori sedang artinya adalah karyawan memiliki stres kerja yang cukup, tidak terlalu tinggi dan tidak pula terlalu rendah.     KAJIAN PENINGKATAN KUALITAS LINGKUNGAN PERMUKIMAN KUMUH DALAM MEWUJUDKAN KOTA BERKELANJUTAN (Studi Kasus : Kelurahan Cibeureum, Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan, Kota Cimahi)

    Tujuan ke 11 dalam Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) yang telah diinisiasi oleh Sekretariat SDGs/Bappenas Indonesia adalah kota dan permukiman inklusif, aman, tangguh dan berkelanjutan, dimana target 2030 adalah memastikan akses terhadap perumahan dan pelayanan dasar yang layak, aman dan terjangkau bagi semua, meningkatkan mutu permukiman kumuh. Kawasan permukiman kumuh Rancabentang Kelurahan Cibeureum Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan seluas 27,08 Ha. Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan termasuk kawasan industri dan pergudangan yang sudah terbangun, dan sebagian besar Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan kawasan permukiman yang bercampur dengan kegiatan industri, sehingga harus dilakukan penanganan agar tidak memperluas atau memperburuk kondisi permukiman kumuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskannya arahan penangan permukiman kumuh Kawasan Rancabentang Kelurahan Cibeureum Kecamatan Cimahi Selatan dalam mewujudkan permukiman inklusif dan berkelanjutan, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pendekatan kualitatif. Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi analisis tingkat kekumuhan, skoring, analisis spasial, serta analisis potensi dan masalah permukiman kumuh di Kelurahan Cibeureum. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa tingkat kekumuhan pada Kelurahan Cibeureum sedang, dan hasil kajian status keberlanjutan pada aspek sosial-ekonomi masih relatif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan aspek fisik-lingkungan. Arahan penanganan penelitian ini adalah dilakukan perbaikan dan pemeliharaan terhadap kondisi fisik-lingkungan pada permukiman kumuh di Kelurahan Cibeureum berupa fisik bangunan, penyediaan air minum, jaringan jalan, jaringan drainase,pengelolaan air limbah, pengelolaan persampahan, dan proteksi kebakaran.     Estudo do uso de trigo sarraceno cultivado na Região Centro-Oeste para produção de cerveja artesanal

    Trabalho de conclusão de curso (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Instituto de Química, 2016.A composição do trigo sarraceno garante grande valor nutritivo, podendo ter 74% de seu grão aproveitado no consumo humano. As suas características diferenciais garantem a ele aminoácidos livres, incluindo a lisina, boa variedade de proteínas e amidos, além de ser rico em rutina. Para tanto, o trigo sarraceno cultivado na região centro-oeste brasileira foi considerado um bom adjunto devido à composição rica em aminoácidos para nutrição de leveduras cervejeiras durante o processo de fermentação, apresentando comportamento contrário ao observado quando se utiliza outros adjuntos cervejeiros. O melhor uso do trigo sarraceno na produção cervejeira foi a adição direta, sem malteação prévia, pois apresentou valores de 40% de poder germinativo e 36,7% de energia germinativa. A melhor proporção e o permitido pela legislação brasileira (Decreto n°6871, de 4 de julho de 2009) foi o uso de 55% de malte de cevada com substituição de cerca de 45% (m/m) da receita por trigo sarraceno. Foi realizada uma comparação com outros adjuntos e foi constatada uma quantidade de proteínas superior aos demais. Sendo este valor de 23,7 mg/mL de proteínas solubilizadas no mosto, o que se deve principalmente aos aminoácidos livres e cadeias de globulina e albumina. Os teores de extratos se comparado com os demais adjuntos foi inferior representando 52,6% de extrato ao final da mostura, enquanto os demais alcançaram valores de aproximadamente 68%. Em função de alguns aspectos tecnológicos, o escalonamento foi realizado com sucesso utilizando o trigo sarraceno com casca, sem pré-tratamento. Seu balanço de massa foi de 48% para a produção, mesmo valor encontrado para os ensaios laboratoriais. O uso deste cereal como adjunto pela indústria cervejeira proporciona um aumento a demanda deste produto na região do centro-oeste, incentivando o plantio de uma cultura curta, de poucos custos de colheita e produção, além de uma cultura de forte adição de material orgânico e fosforo ao solo, durante seu desenvolvimento na região proposta.The composition of buckwheat ensures great nutritional value, 74% of its having tapped grain for human consumption. Differential characteristics guarantee him free amino acids, including lysine, good variety of proteins and starches, in addition to containing large amount of rutin. The buckwheat grown in the brazilian Midwest was considered a good input due to composition rich in amino acids for nutrition of Brewers Yeast during the fermentation process, showing the behavior observed when using other options brewers. The best use of buckwheat in beer production was the direct addition, without prior malting, as presented 40% power values and 36.7% energy germination. The best proportion was the same permitted by brazilian legislation (Decree No. 6871, of 4 July 2009) was the use of 55% barley malt with replacement of about 45% (m/m) of the recipe for buckwheat. The comparison with others adjunct showed a number of superior to other proteins. Being this number of 23.7 mg/mL of dissolved proteins in the wort, which is mainly due to free amino acids and chains of globulin and albumin. The extract compared with the other adjuncts representing 52.6% was lower than the others, while the other reached values of approximately 68%. Due to some technological aspects, the escalation was performed successfully using the buckwheat with shell, without pre-treatment. Your mass balance was 48% for production, same value found for laboratory tests. The use of this cereal as Deputy for the brewery provides an increase in the demand for this product in the Midwest region, encouraging the planting of a culture, being this culture of few costs harvest and production, as well as a culture of strong addition of organic material and phosphorus to the soil, during its development in the region offer

    Prospects for the Precision Measurement of the W Mass with the CMS Detector at the LHC

    The precise measurement of the mass of the W boson constitutes an important consistency check of the Standard Model and is sensitive to supersymmetric corrections. Together with the top quark mass, the W mass discriminates between the Standard Model and supersymmetric extensions. In this note, methods are presented which employ the large number of Z bosons produced at the LHC to significantly reduce theoretical and experimental uncertainties on the W mass measurement. A precision of about 40 MeV (20 MeV) with the first 1 fb^-1 (10 fb^-1) of integrated luminosity during the low luminosity run of the LHC is expected

    Effect of glycemic status on peripheral nerve conduction in lower limbs in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients

    Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is one of the most common chronic diseases globally. Diabetic neuropathy is the most common & troublesome complication. But exact pathogenesis is not yet known. Comparatively there are few studies showing relation between glycemic status & diabetic neuropathy. Hence present study was conducted, which was aimed to assess the same in lower limbs in type 2 DM.  Methods: 60 type 2 diabetes mellitus male patients were selected from diabetic OPD. 30 were having glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) 6%-9% (group B), 30 were having HbA1c > 9% (group C). They were compared with age and sex matched 30 normal healthy controls (group A). Conduction velocity and amplitude of bilateral sural sensory nerve action potential (SNAP) and peroneal compound muscle action potential (CMAP) were recorded. Glycated hemoglobin was measured using ion exchange resin method. Results: Group B and group C had significantly lesser means of conduction velocity and amplitude of sural SNAP (p<0.001) and peroneal CMAP (p<0.05) as compared to group A. Hb A1c had statistically significant negative correlation with conduction velocity and amplitude of sural SNAP (p<0.001) as well as peroneal CMAP (p<0.001). Conclusions: This study shows that diabetic patients with higher blood glucose levels are at increased risk of diabetic neuropathy. Diabetic neuropathy in lower limbs worsens with increasing blood glucose levels. Hence stringent action has to be taken at an early stage to control blood glucose levels. Also, patients should be encouraged for regular follow up and strict glycemic control.

    Neither slugs nor snails: a molecular reappraisal of the gastropod family Velutinidae

    The systematics of the marine mollusc family Velutinidae has long been neglected by taxonomists, mainly because their often internal and fragile shells offer no morphological characters. Velutinids are usually undersampled owing to their cryptic mantle coloration on the solitary, social or colonial ascidians on which they feed and lay eggs. In this study, we address the worldwide diversity and phylogeny of Velutinidae based on the largest molecular dataset (313 specimens) to date, accounting for &gt; 50% of the currently accepted genera, coupled with morphological and ecological data. Velutinids emerge as a diverse group, encompassing four independent subfamily-level lineages, two of which are newly described herein: Marseniopsinae subfam. nov. and Hainotinae subfam. nov. High diversity was found at genus and species levels, with two newly described genera (Variolipallium gen. nov. and Pacifica gen. nov.) and ≥ 86 species in the assayed dataset, 58 of which are new to science (67%). Velutinidae show a remarkable morphological plasticity in shell morphology, mantle extension and chromatic patterns. This variability is likely to be the result of different selective forces, including habitat, depth and trophic interactions
