Обосновывается целесообразность использования активных образовательных технологий для достижения целей образования в современной высшей школе. Показана сущность компетентностного подхода в высшем профессиональном образовании. Обозначен компетентностный потенциал активных образовательных технологий, представлен опыт и перспективы их применения в педагогической практике ТПУ

The TPU's property complex development and maintenance

В оперативном управлении университета находится 300 объектов: учебные корпуса, общежития, инженерные сети, расположенные на территории Томской, Кемеровской областей и Республики Хакасия. Площадь земельных участков составляет 1,76 млн м2.Университет обладает развитой социальной и спортивной инфраструктурой, включающей Международный культурный центр, комбинат питания, санаторий-профилакторий, детские сады, базу отдыха, детский оздоровительный лагерь, стадион с искусственным покрытием, более десятка открытых игровых площадок, единственный в области ска-лодром, два спортивных корпуса, лыжероллерную трассу с современным оборудованием для разметки лыжни. Уникальность ТПУ - в наличии исследовательского ядерного реактора, инспекционного досмотрового комплекса, шести зданий, имеющих статус объектов культурного наследия федерального и регионального значения.There are 292 facilities under the University's operational management: educational buildings, dormitories, utilities located on the territory of Tomsk, Kemerovo regionsand the Republic of Khakassia. The University possesses a comprehensive social and sport infrastructure comprising theInternational Cultural Center, catering center, sanatorium-preventorium, child daycare centers, recreation facility, child health-improvement camp, stadium with artificial turf, adozen of outdoor playgrounds, the city's only rock-climbing wall, 2 sports buildings, and a ski-roller run with modern equipment for track laying. The TPU's unique feature is theavailability of the Research nuclear reactor, Inspection and Examination complex, and 6 buildings having the status of federal and regional objects of cultural heritage

Compression methods for graph algorithms

Two compression methods for representing graphs are presented, in conjunction with algorithms applying these methods. A decomposition technique for networks that can be generated in O(m) time is presented. The components of the decomposition and the shortest path matrix of the compressed network can be used to find the shortest path between any pair of vertices in the original network in linear time. A compression method for boolean matrices and a method for applying the compression to boolean matrix multiplication is developed. The algorithms have an expected running time of O(n²*log ₂n). From this compression method a simple heuristic that may be applied to any algorithm for boolean matrix multiplication has been developed. This heuristic will improve the average running time of boolean matrix multiplication algorithms. An order of magnitude analysis of the results published by Loukakis and Tsouris [1981], on the efficiency of algorithms for finding all maximal independent sets of a graph has been performed. This analysis showed that their conclusions, which are based on a direct comparison of the running times of the algorithms, do not take into account implementation factors. An average constant factor improvement is developed for the algorithm of Tsukiyama, Ide, Ariyoshi and Shirakawa [1977] for finding all maximal independent sets of a graph. Analysis of the running time results from the algorithm comparisons presented in this thesis show that the Bron-Kerbosch algorithm has the smallest rate of increase in running time as the size of the graphs increase

Исследование кинетики поверхностного растворения в водных дисперсиях некоторых материалов

Приведены результаты исследования кинетики поверхностного растворения в водных дисперсиях ряда материалов. Степень выщелачивания определялась по изменению рН растворов-центрифугатов и электропроводности. Время контакта материала с водой составляло от 6 до 1500 минут. У таких материалов, как магнетитовый концентрат, илы, ташлинский песок, равновесие практически устанавливается в течение 1,5-2 часов. При т:ж=1:4 поверхностное растворение бентонита в первый час значительно меньше, чем у остальных исследованных материалов (х=4-6), а затем резко возрастает до х=40 ом-1. При большем содержании воды диспергирование бентонита происходит быстрее и уже после часового контакта материала с водой; наблюдается значительный рост электропроводности (x=22 ом-1)

The principal objective of this paper is to pay our attention to such a significant problem as motivation in the process of learning a foreign language. The paper is devoted to the very important problem concerning educational process. For most purposes in today, motivation has different reasons why we act in a certain way. We may indeed be motivated by influences as basic as pain and pleasure. The key to understanding motivation is, to some, understanding why it is important to an individual or to a group or organization. In this case some definitions of motivation are given. Also the paper pinpoints attention upon the ways the teacher can use to level up the student's desire to study language
