hatékony súlyvektort is kapunk. Kitérünk a pcmc.online helyen elérhető, böngészőben futtatható Pairwise Comparison Matrix Calculator alkalmazásra is, amelyben az itt bemutatott módszereket is implementáltuk
On pairwise comparison matrices that can be made consistent by the modification of a few elements
Pairwise comparison matrices are often used in Multi-attribute Decision Making forweighting the attributes or for the evaluation of the alternatives with respect to a criteria. Matrices provided by the decision makers are rarely consistent and it is important to index the degree of inconsistency. In the paper, the minimal number of matrix elements by the modification of which the pairwise comparison matrix can be made consistent is examined. From practical point of view, the modification of 1, 2, or, for larger matrices, 3 elements seems to be relevant. These cases are characterized by using the graph representation of the matrices. Empirical examples illustrate that pairwise comparison matrices that can be made consistent by the modification of a few elements are present in the applications
Non–destructive Material Testing (Ndt) Techniques Applied for the Life Extension Program of the Aircraft in the Hungarian Defence Forces
Most aircraft in the Hungarian Defence Forces (HDF) were planned back in the 1960s and 70s. Accordingly, strategies of operating and maintaining these aircraft reflect the level of engineering, technology and diagnostics of that era. However, since the mid 1990s until today a new generation of modern aircraft (JAS–39 EBS HU Gripen, MiG–29 tactical fighter aircraft) have been used in the Hungarian Defence Forces. By using these third and fourth generation fighters, new, modern operating and maintenance environment and systems have also been introduced. This publication is aimed at providing a short overview of Non–Destructive Material Testing; a very special segment of the many diagnostic testing methods used during life extension programs

Nemlineáris egyensúlyi rendszerek elméleti és módszertani kérdései = Theoretical and methodological issues of nonlinear equilibrium systems
A nemlineáris egyensúlyi rendszerek területén új eredményeket értünk el egyes feladatosztályok megoldhatóságának skaláris deriváltakra alapozott jellemzésével. A nemlineáris egyensúlyi rendszerek egy új megközelítését adtuk az izotón projekciós kúpok és kiterjesztéseik segítségével, és új eredményeket mutattunk be izoton projekciós kúpokkal történő rekurziók konvergenciáját illetően. Megmutattuk a metszetgörbülek nemlineáris optimalizálásban betöltött szerepét, és kvadratikus törtfüggvények speciális tulajdonságaival is foglalkoztunk. Fontos módszertani és implementációs eredményeket értünk el a kvadratikus optimalizálás belső pontos módszereinek területén is. Új blokkolási sémát fejlesztettünk ki a belső pontos algoritmusoknál előforduló szimmetrikus mátrixok faktorizációjához. A kvadratikus feltételek melletti konvex optimalizálás fontos feladatosztály a folytonos optimalizálásban. Megmutattuk, hogy belső pontos módszerekkel ez a feladatosztály nagy méretekben is hatékonyan kezelhető. Sikeresen alkalmaztuk a nemlineáris programozást döntési feladatok megoldásánál, elsősorban páros összhasonlítási mátrixok konzisztens márixokkal való közelítésével kapcsolatban. Új módszereket mutattunk be a legkisebb négyzetek célfüggvényű közelítés globális optimális megoldásainak meghatározására, valamint kiterjesztettük a sajátvektor módszert a nem teljesen kitöltött páros összehasonlítási mátrixok esetére | New results have been achieved in the field of nonlinear equilibrium problems by characterizing the solvability of some problem classes based on scalar derivatives. A new approach has been presented for the nonlinear equilibrium systems by the help of isotone projection cones and their extensions. Also, new results were presented on the convergence of recursions with isotone projection cones. We pointed out the role of sectional curvatures in nonlinear optimization. Some special properties of quadratic fractional functions have been also dealt with. We achieved important methodological and implementational results in the field of interior point methods of quadratic optimization. A new blocking scheme was developed for the symmetric matrix factorizations arising in interior point methods. An important class of the continuous optimization is that of the quadratically constrained convex problems. New techniques have been presented that improve the efficiency of interior point methods when solving quadratically constrained large-scale problems. Nonlinear programming was applied successfully at solving some decision problems, mainly at approximating pairwise comparison matrices by consistent ones. We presented new methods for finding the global optimal solutions in the case of approximating in the least squares sense. We also extended the eigenvector method for the case of incomplete pairwise comparison matrices
Katonai légijármű-alkatrész örvényáramos anyagvizsgálatának lehetőségei és tapasztalatai
Napjainkig a Magyar Honvédség légierejének kötelékében számos új, a kor technikai színvonalán álló haditechnikai eszköz állt hadrendbe ( JAS-39 EBS HU Gripen harcászati repülőgép, Airbus A319 szállító repülőgépek, Airbus H145M helikopterváltozatok). Ezek megjelenésével együtt jár a korszerű üzemeltetési és diagnosztikai rendszerek alkalmazása is, amelyek egyik speciális eleme a roncsolásmentes anyagvizsgálat. Az üzemeltetésben részt vevő szakemberek felkészültségének szintje a roncsolásmentes vizsgálatok hatékony alkalmazásának egyik legfőbb tényezője. E publikáció egy, a katonai légi járművek üzemeltetése során felhasználható, nagy térbeli felbontóképességgel rendelkező, örvényáramos roncsolásmentes anyagvizsgálati módszer alkalmazási lehetőségét, sajátosságait és az alkalmazó ezen a téren szerzett tapasztalatait mutatja b
Efficient weight vectors from pairwise comparison matrices
Pairwise comparison matrices are frequently applied in multi-criteria
decision making. A weight vector is called efficient if no other weight vector
is at least as good in approximating the elements of the pairwise comparison
matrix, and strictly better in at least one position. A weight vector is weakly
efficient if the pairwise ratios cannot be improved in all non-diagonal
positions. We show that the principal eigenvector is always weakly efficient,
but numerical examples show that it can be inefficient. The linear programs
proposed test whether a given weight vector is (weakly) efficient, and in case
of (strong) inefficiency, an efficient (strongly) dominating weight vector is
calculated. The proposed algorithms are implemented in Pairwise Comparison
Matrix Calculator, available at pcmc.online.Comment: 19 page

Modeling Schumann resonances with schupy
Schupy is an open-source python package aimed at modeling and analyzing Schumann resonances (SRs), the global electromagnetic resonances of the Earth-ionosphere cavity resonator in the lowest part of the extremely low frequency band (<100 Hz). Its very-first function forward_tdte applies the solution of the 2-D telegraph equation introduced recently by Prácser et al. (2019) for a uniform cavity and is able to determine theoretical SR spectra for arbitrary source-observer configurations. It can be applied for both modeling extraordinarily large SR-transients or “background” SRs excited by incoherently superimposed lightning strokes within an extended source region. Three short studies are presented which might be important for SR related research. With the forward_tdte function our aim is to provide a medium complexity numerical background for the interpretation of SR observations. We would like to encourage the community to join our project in developing open-source analyzing capacities for SR research as part of the schupy package
On reducing inconsistency of pairwise comparison matrices below an acceptance threshold
A recent work of the authors on the analysis of pairwise comparison matrices
that can be made consistent by the modification of a few elements is continued
and extended. Inconsistency indices are defined for indicating the overall
quality of a pairwise comparison matrix. It is expected that serious
contradictions in the matrix imply high inconsistency and vice versa. However,
in the 35-year history of the applications of pairwise comparison matrices,
only one of the indices, namely CR proposed by Saaty, has been associated to a
general level of acceptance, by the well known ten percent rule. In the paper,
we consider a wide class of inconsistency indices, including CR, CM proposed by
Koczkodaj and Duszak and CI by Pel\'aez and Lamata. Assume that a threshold of
acceptable inconsistency is given (for CR it can be 0.1). The aim is to find
the minimal number of matrix elements, the appropriate modification of which
makes the matrix acceptable. On the other hand, given the maximal number of
modifiable matrix elements, the aim is to find the minimal level of
inconsistency that can be achieved. In both cases the solution is derived from
a nonlinear mixed-integer optimization problem. Results are applicable in
decision support systems that allow real time interaction with the decision
maker in order to review pairwise comparison matrices.Comment: 20 page
