Making students sensitive to entrepreneurship
The aim of this paper is to present a {proposal to make students sensitive to entrepreneurship} aiming at familiarizing students to the setting up of new firms and stimulating such a course of action. This {{awareness campaign}} would take place during the student's curriculum and rest on a simulation exercise. This campaign is based on the results of a survey conducted at the Technical University of Cartagena (Spain). This study has identified some students’ aspirations to salaried employment and entrepreneurship. This survey also recognized some specific features that the campaign must integrate, in particular the need to make entrepreneurship compatible with the preparation for salaried employment. The results of this study are completed comparing them with the opinion from entrepreneurs of the same region. This comparison highlights some barriers to entrepreneurship among the students population, making it possible to complete the content of the proposed simulation exercise. What Can be Learned Studying the Distribution of the Biggest Fragment ?
In the canonical formalism of statistical physics, a signature of a first
order phase transition for finite systems is the bimodal distribution of an
order parameter. Previous thermodynamical studies of nuclear sources produced
in heavy-ion collisions provide information which support the existence of a
phase transition in those finite nuclear systems. Some results suggest that the
observable Z1 (charge of the biggest fragment) can be considered as a reliable
order parameter of the transition. This talk will show how from peripheral
collisions studied with the INDRA detector at GSI we can obtain this bimodal
behaviour of Z1. Getting rid of the entrance channel effects and under the
constraint of an equiprobable distribution of excitation energy (E*), we use
the canonical description of a phase transition to link this bimodal behaviour
with the residual convexity of the entropy. Theoretical (with and without phase
transition) and experimental Z1-E* correlations are compared. This comparison
allows us to rule out the case without transition. Moreover that quantitative
comparison provides us with information about the coexistence region in the
Z1-E* plane which is in good agreement with that obtained with the signal of
abnormal uctuations of configurational energy (microcanonical negative heat

Scaling behavior of the overlap quark propagator in Landau gauge
The properties of the momentum space quark propagator in Landau gauge are
examined for the overlap quark action in quenched lattice QCD. Numerical
calculations are done on three lattices with different lattice spacings and
similar physical volumes to explore the approach of the quark propagator toward
the continuum limit. We have calculated the nonperturbative momentum-dependent
wave function renormalization function Z(p) and the nonperturbative mass
function M(p) for a variety of bare quark masses and perform an extrapolation
to the chiral limit. We find the behavior of Z(p) and M(p) are in reasonable
agreement between the two finer lattices in the chiral limit, however the data
suggest that an even finer lattice is desirable. The large momentum behavior is

Advancement in the understanding of multifragmentation and phase transition for hot nuclei
Recent advancement on the knowledge of multifragmentation and phase
transition for hot nuclei is reported. It concerns i) the influence of radial
collective energy on fragment partitions and the derivation of general
properties of partitions in presence of such a collective energy, ii) a better
knowledge of freeze-out properties obtained by means of a simulation based on
all the available experimental information and iii) the quantitative study of
the bimodal behaviour of the heaviest fragment charge distribution for
fragmenting hot heavy quasi-projectiles which allows, for the first time, to

Post-ovulatory ageing and egg quality: A proteomic analysis of rainbow trout coelomic fluid
BACKGROUND: In fish, oocyte post-ovulatory ageing is associated with egg quality decrease. During this period, eggs are held in the body cavity where they bath in a semi-viscous liquid known as coelomic fluid (CF). CF components are suspected to play a role in maintaining oocyte fertility and developmental competence (egg quality). However, CF proteic composition remains poorly studied. Thus rainbow trout CF proteome was studied during the egg quality decrease associated with oocyte post-ovulatory ageing. METHODS: High resolution two-dimensional gel electrophoresis was used to analyze the proteome of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) CF in relationship with the egg quality decrease associated with oocyte post-ovulatory ageing. A first experiment was performed using CF pools originating from 17 females sampled at ovulation as well as 7, 14 and 21 days later. These observations were verified using a second set of CF pools originating from 22 females sampled 5 and 16 days following ovulation. RESULTS: Approximately 200 protein spots of 10–105 kDa molecular mass and 3–10 pI were detected in CF samples. Several protein spots, while undetected at the time of ovulation, exhibited a progressive and strong accumulation in CF during post-ovulatory ageing. After silver-staining and Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Time Of Flight (MALDI-TOF) mass spectrometer analysis, some of these protein spots were identified as lipovitellin II fragments. CONCLUSIONS: These observations suggest that egg protein fragments accumulate in the CF during the post-ovulatory period and could therefore be used to detect egg quality defects associated with oocyte post-ovulatory ageing
