    High-Mobility Toolkit for Quantum Dot Films

    Semiconductor colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) are being increasingly exploited in electronics, optoelectronics, and solar energy harvesting, using a variety of different architectures, mostly based on ordered 2D or 3D arrays of these nanostructures. A crucial issue for optimizing the performance of such devices is the ability to predict and tune the transport properties of these assemblies. In this work we provide general guidelines to precisely that effect, indicating specific materials, crystal structures, lattice arrangements, surface stoichiometries, and morphologies that favor high electron mobilities in these systems and, conversely, materials that will exhibit low mobilities if nanostructured. At the same time our results evidence a surprising independence of the film’s transport properties from those of the bulk material from which the dots are made, highlighting the crucial role of theoretical modeling to guide device design

    Neoplasias quísticas mucinosas del páncreas: Caso clínico y revisión de la literatura

    Mucinous cystic neoplasms of the pancreas occur relatively frequently and mainly affect women in the transition to menopause. Most of these neoplasms are unique but are located in the body and tail of the pancreas and have no communication with the pancreatic ductal system. Less than 20% are malignant. Evaluation should include clinical presentation, imaging, endoscopic ultrasonography, puncture biopsies, cytology and chemical analysis of the liquid to measure angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) levels. Complete surgical resection is the only treatment that can improve long-term survival in patients with malignant mucinous cystic lesions.     Competencia Sociolaboral en Relación al Nivel Formativo y Laboral del Alumnado de Formación Profesional de Ceuta

    One of the main aspects, during the student training process and its insertion in the labor market, is its level of social development. Through this study, with a descriptive, exploratory and cross-sectional design; the self-perceived socio-labor skills by the professional training students of a Ceuta institute are analyzed. The sample consisted of 100 individuals (86 women and 14 men). The instrument used was the Test of sociopersonal factors for the labor insertion of the young people of Martínez-Rodríguez & Carmona (2010). Regarding the level of studies, students who come from higher cycles of vocational training have a higher level of socio-labor skills than students who access other degrees. Regarding the work situation of students, students who work have higher levels of socio-labor skills than unemployed students.Uno de los aspectos principales, durante el proceso de formación del alumnado y de su inserción en el mercado laboral, es el nivel de desarrollo social del mismo. Mediante este estudio, con un diseño descriptivo, exploratorio y de corte transversal; se analizan las habilidades sociolaborales autopercibidas por el alumnado de formación profesional de un instituto de Ceuta. La muestra estaba formada por 100 individuos (86 mujeres y 14 hombres). El instrumento empleado fue el Test de factores sociopersonales para la inserción laboral de los jóvenes de Martínez-Rodríguez y Carmona (2010). En cuanto al nivel de estudios, el alumnado que procede de ciclos formativos de grado superior cuenta con mayor nivel de habilidades sociolaborales que aquel que accede con otras titulaciones. Respecto a la situación laboral del alumnado, quienes trabajan cuenta con mayores niveles de habilidades sociolaborales que los alumnos desempleados

В процессе работы рассчитаны количественные значения элементов ГИНа: значения коэффициентов использования разрядной схемы и волны; емкость и индуктивность конденсатора; количество ступеней; фронтовое и разрядное сопротивления. Был выполнен расчет ресурсов, ставки налогов, отчислений.     Fractura de acetábulo. A propósito de un caso

    Introduction: The prevalence of acetabulum fracture is a problem of public health importance by its frequency, risk and cost. Acetabular fractures are serious injury and are mainly associated with trauma of high energy. Objective: To describe a clinical case of fracture of acetabulum. Material and methods:retrospective descriptive study, clinical case presentation. Results: Described the case of a male patient of 54 years of age to post traffic, as a driver of a motorcycle accident, suffers trauma by direct hit right hip-level, it concerns pain and functional limitation in the Member lower on that side. Imaging studies can demonstrate a right acetabulum in wall and posterior column fracture. It was detention with traction of soft tissue, followed by hospitalization for subsequent corrective surgery. Conclusions: Managing initial of the patient polytraumathized in emergencies together with the proper valuation for orthopedics and Traumatology, allow effective hospital management and subsequent surgical resolution of fracture of acetabulum which constitutes a challenge for this specialty.Introducción: La prevalencia de la fractura de acetábulo es un problema de salud pública de importancia por su frecuencia, riesgo y coste. Las fracturas acetabulares suelen ser lesiones graves y se asocian principalmente con traumatismos de alta energía. Objetivo: Describir un caso clínico de fractura de acetábulo. Material y métodos: Estudio descriptivo retrospectivo, presentación de caso clínico. Resultados:Se expone el caso de un paciente masculino de 54 años de edad que posterior a accidente de tránsito,en calidad de conductor de motocicleta,sufre traumatismo por golpe directo a nivel de cadera derecha, refiere dolor y limitación funcional en el miembro inferior deese lado. Losestudios imagenológicos permiten evidenciar una fractura de acetábulo derecho en pared y columna posterior. Se procedió a la inmovilización con tracción de partes blandas, seguido de ingreso hospitalario para posterior intervención quirúrgicacorrectiva. Conclusiones: El manejo inicial del paciente politraumatizado en Emergencias unido a la adecuada valoración por Ortopedia y Traumatología, permiten el manejo efectivo intrahospitalario y posterior resolución quirúrgica de la fractura de acetábulo que constituye un reto para esta especi

    Efficient, non-stochastic, Monte-Carlo-like-accurate method for the calculation of the temperature-dependent mobility in nanocrystal films

    We present a new non-stochastic framework for the calculation of the temperature dependence of the mobility in nanocrystal films, that enables speed-ups of several orders of magnitude compared to conventional Monte Carlo approaches, while maintaining a similar accuracy. Our model identifies a new contribution to the reduction of the mobility with increasing temperature in these systems (conventionally attributed to interactions with phonons), that alone is sufficient to explain the observed experimental trend up to room temperature. Comparison of our results with the theoretical predictions of the hopping model and the observed temperature dependence of recent field-effect mobility measurements in nanocrystal films, provides the means to discriminate between band-like and hopping transport and a definitive answer to whether the former has been achieved in quantum dot films
