Majorana-Oppenheimer approach to Maxwell electrodynamics in Riemannian space-time

The Riemann -- Silberstein -- Majorana -- Oppengeimer approach to the Maxwell electrodynamics in presence of electrical sources and arbitrary media is investigated within the matrix formalism. The symmetry of the matrix Maxwell equation under transformations of the complex rotation group SO(3.C) is demonstrated explicitly. In vacuum case, the matrix form includes four real $4 \times 4$ matrices $\alpha^{b}$. In presence of media matrix form requires two sets of $4 \times 4$ matrices, $\alpha^{b}$ and $\beta^{b}$ -- simple and symmetrical realization of which is given. Relation of $\alpha^{b}$ and $\beta^{b}$ to the Dirac matrices in spinor basis is found. Minkowski constitutive relations in case of any linear media are given in a short algebraic form based on the use of complex 3-vector fields and complex orthogonal rotations from SO(3.C) group. The matrix complex formulation in the Esposito's form, based on the use of two electromagnetic 4-vector, is studied and discussed. Extension of the 3-vector complex matrix formalism to arbitrary Riemannian space-time in accordance with tetrad method by Tetrode-Weyl-Fock-Ivanenko is performed.Comment: 32pages. Morphological, colour and behavioural mimicry of cuckoo bees by the hoverfly Eumerus tricolor (Fabricius) (Diptera: Syrphidae)

The hoverfly Eumerus tricolor is morphologically very similar to the females of cuckoo bees of the genus Sphecodes Latreille. This hoverfly was observed in two localities in central (Certoryje NNR, Czech Republic) and southern (Kladhas, Greece) Europe together with females of these cuckoo bees at nest sites of the bee hosts ( Lasioglossum Curtis) of the cuckoo bees. Females of E. tricolor were sitting on the ground, slowly flying low over the ground and walking on the nesting site. This can be interpreted as Batesian mimicry of Sphecodes . This Eumerus species is the only European hoverfly of this genus with a very similar colour pattern to Sphecodes , and it also prefers the warm and sunny slopes and/or rocky steppes where Sphecodes are abundant. Within red-and-black hoverflies, E. tricolor is the only species showing this behaviour. It thus uses not only morphological but also behavioural mimicry

FEATURES AND PROSPECTS OF THE ECONOMIC RENT FROM WORKFORCE AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS IN UKRAINE

Object of research: the article presents the results of studying the economic rent from workforce and social conditions (significant components of the important rent-forming resource of nowadays global economy – social capital) in Ukraine. Solved problem: determining the features of economic rent, outlining the conditions and prospects for increasing the rental income of the Ukrainian economy from the capitalization of workforce’ intellectual and creative qualities, as well as socium rent-generating conjunctures. Main scientific results: the role of the economic rent in the system of rental relations of the modern global economy and its national components is examined; the features of the formation and distribution of economic rent’ various types in the process of using the workforce’ intellectual and creative potential, as well as other components of the nowadays most significant type of rent-forming resources – social capital – are studied. The specificity of human component and social capital in general as a rent-generating resource is manifested in the generation of additional prerequisites (resource, organizational and economic) and incentives to increase volumes and expand potential areas for extracting rent income in the process of its use, since the using of the employee’ knowledge and abilities leads to a consistent accumulation of professional experience, and consequently – to a permanent increase in the aggregate of these rent-generating properties and in activities for improving the environment of their implementation in Ukraine. Scope of practical use of research results: the research results can be used in developing strategies and programs of Ukrainian economy’ innovative diversification in the process of its further competitive integration into the global economic space, that, among other things, requires the creation of conditions for improving the rent-generating properties of workforce and social environment, as well as increasing the level of its capitalization

This article summarizes the discourse around the investigation and prosecution of the international crimes committed by Russian officials and the Russian military in the war of aggression against Ukraine. It digests the efforts of states and international institutions to achieve accountability for the crime of aggression, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide allegedly committed in Ukraine. It highlights the investigation into the situation in Ukraine by the International Criminal Court and analyzes the ongoing debate over the establishment of a special international criminal tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine
