Electromagnetic form factors in the J/\psi mass region: The case in favor of additional resonances
Using the results of our recent analysis of e^+e^- annihilation, we plot the
curves for the diagonal and transition form factors of light hadrons in the
time-like region up to the production threshold of an open charm quantum
number. The comparison with existing data on the decays of J/\psi into such
hadrons shows that some new resonance structures may be present in the mass
range between 2 GeVand the J/\psi mass. Searching them may help in a better
understanding of the mass spectrum in both the simple and a more sophisticated
quark models, and in revealing the details of the three-gluon mechanism of the
OZI rule breaking in K\bar K channel.Comment: Formulas are added, typo is corrected, the text is rearranged.

Isoscalar resonances with J^{PC}=1^{--} in e^+e^-annihilation
The analysis of the vector isoscalar excitations in the energy range between
1 and 2 GeV of the annihilation is presented for the final states
, , , and
. The effects of both the resonance mixing and the
successive opening of multiparticle channels, with the energy dependent partial
widths, are taken into account. The work extends our previous analysis
hep-ph/9609216 of the vector isovector excitations and is aimed to compare the
existing data with the predictions of the model. It is shown that

Pion and Kaon Vector Form Factors
We develop a unitarity approach to consider the final state interaction
corrections to the tree level graphs calculated from Chiral Perturbation Theory
() allowing the inclusion of explicit resonance fields. The method is
discussed considering the coupled channel pion and kaon vector form factors.
These form factors are then matched with the one loop results. A very
good description of experimental data is accomplished for the vector form
factors and for the P-wave phase shifts up to
GeV, beyond which multiparticle states play a non negligible role. In
particular the low and resonance energy regions are discussed in detail and for
the former a comparison with one and two loop is made showing a
remarkable coincidence with the two loop results.Comment: 20 pages, 7 figs, to appear in Phys. Rev.
Testing QCD with Hypothetical Tau Leptons
We construct new tests of perturbative QCD by considering a hypothetical tau
lepton of arbitrary mass, which decays hadronically through the electromagnetic
current. We can explicitly compute its hadronic width ratio directly as an
integral over the e^+ e^- annihilation cross section ratio, R_{e^+e^-}.
Furthermore, we can design a set of commensurate scale relations and
perturbative QCD tests by varying the weight function away from the form
associated with the V-A decay of the physical tau. This method allows the wide
range of the R_{e^+e^-} data to be used as a probe of perturbative QCD.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure
The Lowest Order Hadronic Contribution to the Muon Value with Systematic Error Correlations
We have performed a new evaluation of the hadronic contribution to
of the muon with explicit correlations of systematic errors
among the experimental data on . Our result for
the lowest order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution is where the the first error is statistical and
the second is systematic. The total systematic error contributions from below
and above GeV are and respectively, and are hence dominated by the low energy region.
Therefore, new measurements on below 1.4 GeV can
significantly reduce the total error on . In particular, the
effect on the total errors of new hypothetical data with 3 \% statistical and

Evidence for Factorization in Three-body B --> D(*) K- K0 Decays
Motivated by recent experimental results, we use a factorization approach to
study the three-body B --> D(*) K- K0 decay modes. Two mechanisms are proposed
for kaon pair production: current-produced (from vacuum) and transition (from B
meson). The Bbar0 --> D(*)+ K- K0 decay is governed solely by the
current-produced mechanism. As the kaon pair can be produced only by the vector
current, the matrix element can be extracted from e+ e- --> K Kbar processes
via isospin relations. The decay rates obtained this way are in good agreement
with experiment. Both current-produced and transition processes contribute to
B- --> D(*)0 K- K0 decays. By using QCD counting rules and the measured B- -->
D(*)0 K- K0 decay rates, the measured decay spectra can be understood.Comment: 17 pages, 6 figure

The parathyroid hormone receptors (nomenclature as agreed by the NC-IUPHAR Subcommittee on Parathyroid Hormone Receptors [47]) are family B G protein-coupled receptors. The parathyroid hormone (PTH)/parathyroid hormone-related peptide (PTHrP) receptor (PTH1 receptor) is activated by precursor-derived peptides: PTH (84 amino acids), and PTHrP (141 amino-acids) and related peptides (PTH-(1-34), PTHrP-(1-36)). The parathyroid hormone 2 receptor (PTH2 receptor) is activated by the precursor-derived peptide TIP39 (39 amino acids). [125I]PTH may be used to label both PTH1 and PTH2 receptors

enhancement that peaks around 2.24 GeV/.
