[EN] We live in a world full of stories, and stories are woven into our world like threads. This project will be guided by narrative and landscape as a medium, connecting history with the city by designing an epidemic commemorative park, recording a war without gunpowder, and exploring commemorative landscape design.
I hope to use the linear narrative as a clue to divide the entire epidemic into four stages according to the timeline, with the themes of "Lurking Danger", "Revelation", "Polar Night and Dawn", "Reflection and Connection", corresponding to the epidemic incubation period, discovery period, outbreak
period, and post-epidemic period ,Through the design of the waterfront space
and skywalk, the atmosphere and perception of different places is created. In addition, technical means will be used to try to analyze the visibility of the site and solve the problem of sediment accumulation on the site.

A novel inductor for stabilizing the dc link of adjustable speed drive
The DC-link filter which includes a magnetic inductor and a storage capacitor is one of the key parts of adjustable speed drives in the market. It significantly affects the stability, reliability, and power density of the motor-drive system. This paper proposes a novel, variable active inductor to improve the performance of DC links in terms of stability, reliability, size, and cost. In contrast to conventional DC-link magnetic inductors, the variable active inductor is made of power electronic circuits, including active switches, passive filters, and smart controllers, which no longer rely on magnetic material. The demonstration shows that the inductor can emulate the electrical characteristics of the magnetic inductor for filtering harmonics and stabilizing the DC link, meanwhile representing a smaller size, lighter weight, and lower cost compared with a conventional one. Furthermore, this paper proposes a variable inductance control method which is able to adaptively tune the inductance value with the operating conditions of the drive system. The DC link can be stabilized, and high performance can be maintained in both balanced and unbalanced grid voltage conditions. A case study of the proposed variable inductor in a motor drive with a three-phase diode-bridge rectifier as the front end is discussed. Experimental results are given to verify the functionality and effectiveness of the proposed variable inductor
Semantic Rule Based Program Monitoring
Program monitoring aims at making sure the functionalities of the software are always correctly performed during runtime. Semantic Web provides a context enriched framework for data representation and manipulation. This paper proposed the use of ontological rules and reasoning engines to monitor the dynamic behaviours of computer systems in handling of exceptional circumstances, both positive and negative, that occur at runtime within the software processes. A prototype framework was proposed on how to integrate the rule based monitoring technique together with the targeted system. To validate the proposed solution, a light control system case study together with the Unity game engine were used to develop a simulation environment for the evaluation purpose. Compared to existing solutions, the approach outlined can provide an effective software behavioural monitoring outcome
Origin of Difference in Photocatalytic Activity of ZnO (002) Grown on a- and c-Face Sapphire
The oriented (002) ZnO films were grown on a- and c-face sapphire by pulsed laser deposition. The X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the oriented (002) ZnO films were epitaxially grown on the substrate successfully. The sample on a-face sapphire had higher crystal quality. However, the photocatalytic activity for Rhodamine B degradation of ZnO film on c-face sapphire was higher than that on a-face sapphire. The Raman spectrum and XPS analysis suggested that the sample on a-face sapphire had higher concentration of defects. The result of the contact angle measurement revealed that the sample on c-face sapphire had higher surface energy. And the investigation of the surface conductance implied that the higher light conductance was helpful for the photocatalytic activity
Scanning phase imaging without accurate positioning system
Ptychography, a high-resolution phase imaging technique using precise
in-plane translation information, has been widely applied in modern synchrotron
radiation sources across the globe. A key requirement for successful
ptychographic reconstruction is the precise knowledge of the scanning
positions, which are typically obtained by a physical interferometric
positioning system. Whereas high-throughput positioning poses a challenge in
engineering, especially in nano or even smaller scale. In this work, we propose
a novel scanning imaging framework that does not require any prior position
information from the positioning system. Specifically, our scheme utilizes the
wavefront modulation mechanism to reconstruct the object functions at each scan
position and the shared illumination function, simultaneously. The scanning
trajectory information is extracted by our subpixel image registration
algorithm from the overlap region of reconstructed object functions. Then, a
completed object function can be obtained by assembling each part of the
reconstructed sample functions. High-quality imaging of biological sample and
position recovery with sub-pixel accuracy are demonstrated in proof-of-concept
experiment. Based on current results, we find it may have great potential
applications in high-resolution and high throughput phase imaging.Comment: 9 pages,4 figure
Multi-view 3D human pose estimation based on multi-scale feature by orthogonal projection
Aiming at the problems of inaccurate estimation results, complicated matching of feature information in different views and poor robustness of the network model in complex scenes, a multi-view multi-person 3D human pose estimation model with multi-scale feature orthogonal projection is proposed, which includes a multi-scale orthogonal projection fusion network and an orthogonal feature ascending dimension network. Firstly, the multi-scale orthogonal projection fusion network performs orthogonal projection of features at multiple scales, using the residual structure to fuse features in the same plane separately, simplifying the feature learning difficulty and reducing the feature loss due to projection. Then, it is fed into the orthogonal feature ascending dimension network to reconstruct higher level 3D features using trilinear interpolation and deconvolution to improve the expressiveness of the model, and finally fed to the backbone network to supplement the information of the high-dimensional features, and the network regresses according to the different stages of the task to obtain the 3D human pose. The experimental results show that the Percentage of 3D Correct Parts is improved on the Campus and Shelf datasets, and the Mean Per Joint Position Error is reduced on the CMU Panoptic dataset and the average accuracy is improved at a smaller threshold compared to the previous method. The prediction results are also better than the previous method by reducing the perspective input on the trained model. The proposed method not only effectively estimates the 3D human pose, but also improves the prediction accuracy and enhances the robustness of the network model
Robust Sequence Networked Submodular Maximization
In this paper, we study the \underline{R}obust \underline{o}ptimization for
\underline{se}quence \underline{Net}worked \underline{s}ubmodular maximization
(RoseNets) problem. We interweave the robust optimization with the sequence
networked submodular maximization. The elements are connected by a directed
acyclic graph and the objective function is not submodular on the elements but
on the edges in the graph. Under such networked submodular scenario, the impact
of removing an element from a sequence depends both on its position in the
sequence and in the network. This makes the existing robust algorithms
inapplicable. In this paper, we take the first step to study the RoseNets
problem. We design a robust greedy algorithm, which is robust against the
removal of an arbitrary subset of the selected elements. The approximation
ratio of the algorithm depends both on the number of the removed elements and
the network topology. We further conduct experiments on real applications of
recommendation and link prediction. The experimental results demonstrate the
effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.Comment: 12 pages, 14 figures, aaai2023 conference accepte
Intelligent H2S release coating for regulating vascular remodeling
Coronary atherosclerotic lesions exhibit a low-pH chronic inflammatory response. Due to insufficient drug release control, drug-eluting stent intervention can lead to delayed endothelialization, advanced thrombosis, and unprecise treatment. In this study, hyaluronic acid and chitosan were used to prepare pH-responsive self-assembling films. The hydrogen sulfide (H2S) releasing aspirin derivative ACS14 was used as drug in the film. The film regulates the release of the drug adjusted to the microenvironment of the lesion, and the drug balances the vascular function by releasing the regulating gas H2S, which comparably to NO promotes the self-healing capacity of blood vessels. Drug releasing profiles of the films at different pH, and other biological effects on blood vessels were evaluated through blood compatibility, cellular, and implantation experiments. This novel method of self-assembled films which H2S in an amount, which is adjusted to the condition of the lesion provides a new concept for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases
