The current study investigated the factors that predict organisational citizenship behaviours (OCB) among employees in selected service-oriented organizations. The cross sectional research design was employed in this study. A total of three hundred and fifty-nine (359) employees between the ages of 19 and 59 years old participated in this study. Forty-two percent (42%) of the participants were male; fifty-six percent (56%) were female while the remaining two percent (2%) did not indicate their gender. Teachers accounted for 28% of the total sample, health workers constituted 28%, telecom staff 16% and bankers 28%. Three research questions and five hypotheses were raised and tested using descriptive statistics, stepwise regression analysis, t-test for independent samples and one way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The result revealed that job tenure, perceived leadership style and perceived organisational justice jointly predicted organisational citizenship behaviours [F (3,333) = 16.156, p.05). Also, intrinsic religiosity and affective commitment were found to partially mediate the relationship between perceived leadership style and OCB; and between perceived organisational justice and OCB. The result further revealed that only marital status [t (353) = -2.728, P.05]. Finally, employees in education, health, banking and telecommunication sectors were found to be significantly different in OCB [F (3,355) =2.791, p<.05]. The result of post hoc analysis revealed that telecommunications had the highest OCB (88.22) while the health sector had the lowest (82.61). This study contributed to knowledge through the development of a standardized measure of OCB in the Nigerian Context. It also established the prevalence of OCB in Nigerian service sector organizations. It concluded that perceived leadership style and organisational justice were significant predictors of OCB, and that this relationship was significantly mediated by intrinsic religiosity and affective commitment; that demographic variables (marital status and educational background) discriminated among service-oriented employees in OCB; and that employees in education, health, banking and telecommunications sector differ significantly in OCB, whereas, employees in public and private sector did not differ significantly in OCB. This study recommended that the government and human resource managers encourage OCB among employees through effective leadership, organisational fairness and workplace spirituality

Even though tourism has been recognised as an important field for transnational research today, there are few attempts to place tourism in the context of transnational theories or to think about transnationalism from the perspective of tourists. I argue that in researching tourist practices one can add important aspects to transnational approaches. The prerequisites of mobility and interaction for example are the features chosen by backpackers to describe what their Round-The-World-Trip is about. A form of tourism is adopted, or created, that itself confronts many aspects of globalisation: First of all there is the immense dynamic that is involved. Backpackers try to cover as many places and experiences as possible, travelling at high speed. They adopt all kinds of touristic experiences ranging from beach to adventure to culture tourism. They don't focus on a specific area or country but travel the world. They cross national borders perpetually. Additionally they form a transnational network in which they interact with strangers of similar backgrounds (other backpackers, tourist professionals). This network helps them interacting with people from different backgrounds (the socalled hosts or locals). Considering my research Backpackers forge a certain identity from these transnational practices which I want to name globedentity. Globedentity expresses a type of identity construction that not only refers to the individual (I) but reflects the world (globe) in this identity. This globedentity is not fixed but is perpetually re-created and re-defined. It also embraces the increasing popular awareness of globalisation which backpackers, coming from highly educated middle class backgrounds, in particular have identified with. Due to the constant awareness of the latest global social, cultural and economic developments in these educated milieus they know exactly which tools to use to become successful parts of their societies

Dermal exposure to chemicals is highly relevant in relation to the use of cosmetic products, both in consumers and in individuals exposed occupationally. Regulatory frameworks exist within the EU to limit the dermal exposure of the general population and workers to chemicals in general, as well as to limit the use of certain substances in cosmetic products. The objective of the study was to investigate and compare toxicological evaluations of dermal exposure performed under current regulatory frameworks. The publicly disseminated hazard information under the respective regulatory frameworks was compiled and compared for the five substances resorcinol, p-phenylenediamine, p-aminophenol, N-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine, and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether. A low consistency between evaluations was observed in respect to data coverage and cited dose descriptors. No systematic differences over all five substances were identified from the viewpoint of dermal hazard assessment. The critical effect and corresponding systemic effect dose descriptor was identical for two substances, differed somewhat for two other (a factor of 2-2.5). For N-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine a critical effect was only identified under REACH.QC 20140310</p

The effects of different levels of maltose on feed pellet water stability and nutrient leaching were studied. Five treatments, including control with three replicates with setup (0.0, 20, 25, 30 and 35%). Pellet leaching rates were used to indicate pellet water stability. The results show that the presence of maltose in the diets significantly improved pellet water stability (p<0.05), but the leaching rates of the feed (35% maltose) observed higher than other feeds. Increased maltose resulted in the corresponding decrease in pellet stability. The protein leaching rate of control feed and feed (20% maltose) was significantly (p < 0.05) lower than the rates of other diets The lipid leaching rate of control feed was lower than the rates of other diets, while the feed (35% maltose) was more leaching rate. It improved feeds water stability is one important reason why maltose enhances fish growth

The issues to be highlighted here is to fundamentally evaluate the potential of using waste Garbage Bag from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) as a backbone binder in Metal Injection Molding (MIM.) This is by the fact that the earth has tons of Garbage Bag disposed every day and researcher believes such waste can be converted into more beneficial industrial product. Thus this research investigates the potential uses of garbage bag as a novel binder system in metal injection molding. Stainless steel SS316L was used which is garbage bag (HDPE) and palm kernel acts as binder system. Feedstock with three composition 30%, 40% and 55% powder loading (PL) were injected by injection molding machine with several injection parameter were optimized such as injection temperature (A), barrel temperature (B), injection pressure (C) and Speed (D). The optimum parameter for highest green density, strength were optimized in Taguchi Method orthogonal Array L9 ( 3 ) and analysed by using Signal to Noise Ratio (S/N ratio). Results shows the optimum variables for 30% PL the highest density is A0, B2, C1 and D0 while for green strength are combination of A0, B0, C0, D1. For powder loading 40%, the optimize parameter for highest green part density are A2, B2, C0 and D2 and A0, B0, C1, and D0 for green strength. Besides, the highest green density for 0.55 PL by following the optimum variable are A2 , B2, C0 and D2 while for highest green strength are A2, B2, C2, and D2. Garbage bag are suitable acted as a binder system in metal injection molding. Furthermore, it could reduce the cost of binder system. The suitable volume ratios in mixing process produce a better feedstock in order to produce the green part by injection molding. Taguchi Method is among the best method in optimizing the injection variables as it can reduce the cost, time, improve accuracy and efficienc
