This paper aims to define and measure the environmental impacts associated with three distinct industry techniques used in the production of fresh tomatoes, from planting to harvesting. A comparative Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is conducted to evaluate the environmental performance of producing one kilogram of fresh processing tomatoes. The study includes three Italian companies representing different Business Models: standard production, integrated production, and precision farming. The impact evaluation method used is ReCiPe, at both midpoint and endpoint levels. The results reveal that the adoption of advanced technology, such as precision farming, in managing the agricultural production of fresh tomatoes leads to a significant reduction in environmental impacts across all categories analyzed. Interestingly, the largest contribution to climate-changing gases comes from the use of fertilizers. Precision farming demonstrates a remarkable reduction of CO2 emissions by 52% compared to integrated production and 67% compared to standard production. This analysis provides valuable insights for managers and policymakers in developing strategies for large-scale, sustainable production using innovative techniques. The main contribution of this study lies in comparing the performance of three different Business Models employed in Italian fresh tomato production

Nager syndrome, or acrofacial dysostosis type 1 (AFD1), is a rare multiple malformation syndrome characterized by hypoplasia of first and second branchial arches derivatives and appendicular anomalies with variable involvement of the radial/axial ray. In 2012, AFD1 has been associated with dominant mutations in SF3B4. We report a 22-week-old fetus with AFD1 associated with diaphragmatic hernia due to a previously unreported SF3B4 mutation (c.35-2A>G). Defective diaphragmatic development is a rare manifestation in AFD1 as it is described in only 2 previous cases, with molecular confirmation in 1 of them. Our molecular finding adds a novel pathogenic splicing variant to the SF3B4 mutational spectrum and contributes to defining its prenatal/fetal phenotype

This article looks for analyzing the behavior of technological acceptance of advertising in mobile devices in Colombia, using TAM model (Technology Acceptance Model) and adding the confidence as a variable which influences in the relation between advertisers and sectors or mobile advertising. The model was contrasted through an empirical sample of 530 individuals; reliability and validity of the model was verified and hypothesis were validated by means of structural equations. In the case of Colombian consumers, results show the adjustment of the model and confirm that the confidence directly influences in the use intention; however, the usefulness perceived, constitutes as the main determinant of use of mobile advertising.O presente artigo procura analisar o comportamento tecnológico da aceitação da publicidade móvel na Colômbia, usando o modelo TAM (Tecnologia aceitação Modelo) e adicionar o conceito de confiança como uma variável que afeta as relações entre os anunciantes e os destinatários da publicidade móvel. Schools are a privileged place where students develop intellectually and socially. Given the importance of its role, it is essential that the school is a safe place. However, this is not always the case, and there are numerous references to cases of bullying in the school context. The Public Security Police (PSP) is responsible, in consultation with other entities, to guarantee school security within its area of territorial competence, so has a relevant role in acting in the face of this phenomenon. In this way, as it is essential that the police officers assigned to the Safe School Program (SSP) know how to intervene effectively in situations of this nature, the present dissertation aims to understand the phenomenon of school bullying, define the behaviors adopted by bullies and to create a police actuation model. The research is divided into two basic parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, a thematic and conceptual framework on bullying in the school context is carried out and the role of PSP is discussed, in particular the teams of the SSP, in the face of the phenomenon. In the practical part, as it was decided to use the quantitative method and the qualitative method, an analysis is performed on data collected under the SSP and were applied interviews to police officers and psychologists. It was possible to conclude that school bullying is a phenomenon that cannot be reduced to a single typology and that there is a plurality of ways to practice it. Given the complexity of school bullying, intervention in the phenomenon requires a multiplicity of entities, out of which the PSP stands out. PSP has an essential role, and it must adopt broad measures that allow to solve the problem, acting at its origins

A blaVIM-2 Plasmid Disseminating in Extensively Drug-Resistant Clinical Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Serratia marcescens Isolates

Infections caused by carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae isolates are an issue of major global concern (1). Genes coding for metallo-β-lactamases (MβLs) identified in clinical isolates are associated with mobile elements and subject to horizontal genetic transfer (HGT) events (2–6). VIM-2 is present on numerous plasmids, but only pNOR-2000 from Pseudomonas aeruginosa COL-1 from France (7, 8) and pLD209 from Pseudomonas putida LD209 from Argentina (9) have been completely sequenced. Here, we report the complete sequence and characterization of plasmid pDCPR1 harboring a blaVIM-2 gene cassette in a Tn402-type class 1 integron, which was isolated from two extensively drug-resistant strains: P. aeruginosa 802 (from a burn patient at the Hospital Municipal de Quemados, Argentina, 2005) and S. marcescens 68313 (Sanatorio Sagrado Corazón, Argentina, 2012).Fil: Vilacoba, Elisabet. Assertion-based slicing and slice graphs

This paper revisits the idea of slicing programs based on their axiomatic semantics, rather than using criteria based on control/data dependencies. We show how the forward propagation of preconditions and the backward propagation of postconditions can be combined in a new slicing algorithm that is more precise than the existing specification-based algorithms. The algorithm is based on (i) a precise test for removable statements, and (ii) the construction of a \emph{slice graph}, a program control flow graph extended with semantic labels and additional edges that ``short-circuit'' removable commands. It improves on previous approaches in two aspects: it does not fail to identify removable commands; and it produces the smallest possible slice that can be obtained (in a sense that will be made precise). Iteration is handled through the use of loop invariants and variants to ensure termination. The paper also discusses in detail applications of these forms of slicing, including the elimination of (conditionally) unreachable and dead code, and compares them to other related notions.Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT
