    Reaction of LiOR (R=t-Bu, Ph) with the acids 2,2/-Ph₂C(X)(CO₂H), X=OH (benzH), NH₂ (dpgH) was investigated. For benzH, one equivalent LiOt-Bu in THF afforded [Li(benz)]2⋅2THF (1⋅2THF), which adopts a 1D chain structure. If acetonitrile is used (mild conditions), another polymorph of 1 is isolated; LiOPh also led to 1. Robust work-up afforded [Li₇(benz)₇(MeCN)] 2MeCN THF (2⋅2MeCN⋅THF). Use of LiOt-Bu (2 equivalents) led to {Li₈(Ot-Bu)₂[(benz)](OCPh₂CO₂CPh₂CO2t-Bu)₂(THF)₄} (3), the core of which comprises two open cubes linked by benz ligands. For dpgH, two equivalents of LiOt-Bu in THF afforded [Li6(Ot-Bu)₂(dpg)₂(THF)₂] (4), which contains an Li₂Ov 6-step ladder. Similar reaction of LiOPh afforded [Li₈(PhO)₄(dpg)₄(MeCN)₄] (5). Complexes 1–5 were screened for their potential as catalysts for ring opening polymerization (ROP) of ϵ-caprolactone (ϵ-CL), rac-lactide (rac-LA) and δ-valerolactone (δ-VL). For ROP of ϵ-CL, conversions > 70 % were achievable at 110 °C with good control. For rac-LA and δ-VL, temperatures of at least 110 °C over 12 h were necessary for activity (conversions > 60 %).     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh persepsi konsumen mobil bensin Mercedes-Benz terhadap minat beli mobil listrik Mercedes-Benz EQS. Metode kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner pada 162 responden konsumen mobil bensin Mercedes-Benz di wilayah Jabodetabek dengan cara penyebaran secara langsung dan online dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS 26 untuk menganalisis data. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi konsumen mobil bensin Mercedes-Benz tidak berpengaruh signifkan terhadap minat beli mobil listrik Mercedes-Benz EQS. Sehingga diduga masih banyak faktor-faktor lain yang mempengaruhi minat beli konsumen mobil bensin Mercedes-Benz terhadap mobil listrik Mercedes-Benz EQS

    This study is obliged to the "Marburg School of the Science of Religions" (R. Otto, H. Frick, K. Goldammer, E. Benz). The methodological concept follows the comparison of religions, as it is classically demonstrated by R. Otto in his work about "West-östliche Mystik"[1] concern-ing the contrasting of Shankara and Meister Eckhart. That the comparison of the figures of the masters which is practised in this school may yield good results is also proved by G. Mensching, Otto's disciple in Bonn, in his book on "Buddha und Christus - ein Vergleich"[2] and H. Frick, Otto's successor on the Marburg chair in Systematic Theology, in his early trea-tise upon "Ghazalis Selbstbiographie. Ein Vergleich mit Augustins Konfessionen"[3][4]. Spe-cial emphasis should be given to the attempt of F. Heiler who as early as in 1918 contrasts Buddha as a "master of contemplation" to Jesus as a "master of prayer" in his work "Die bud-dhistische Versenkung"[5]. All the mentioned attempts are based on the eminent enquiries in the field of the common history of religions and the psychology of religion as R. Otto's "Das Heilige" [6] and F. Heiler's "Das Gebet"[7]. Worth mentioning is also the comprehensive study of the Marburg church historian and distinguished authority of the Asian religious world, E. Benz, about "Die Vision"[8]. Benz, also a disciple of R. Otto, was a famous re-searcher of mysticism and spiritualism as well (Joachim of Floris, J. Böhme, E. Swedenborg). ..

    Synthesis of chemotherapeutic agents derived from 2:3-benz-γ-carboline and 2:3:4':3'-quinoquinoline

    1. From diethylethoxymethylene malonate and the appropriate aniline, 4-chloroquinoline, 6-methoxy-4-chloroquinoline and L.:6-dichloroquinoline have been prepared. 2. These chloro compounds have been used in the synthesis of 2:3-benz-γ-carboline, 15-methoxy-2:3-benz-γ-carboline and 15- chloro -2:3- benz -ycarboline. The unambiguous synthesis of the former base has cleared up certain discrepancies which existed in the literature. 3. The 2:3-benz-γ-carbolines have been treated with diethylaminoethyl chloride to obtain basic side chain derivatives. In this way, the following have been prepared: 1-diethylaminoethyl- 2:3-benz-γ- carboline . 4-diethylaminoethyl-2:3-benz-γ-isocarboline. 5-methoxy-4-diethylaminoethyl-2:3-benz-γ-isocarboline. 15-chloro-l-diethylaminoethyl-2:3-benz-γ-carboline. 15-chloro-4-diethylaminoethyl-2:3-benz-γ-isocarboline. In addition, 4-methyl-2:3-benz-γ-isocarboline and 15-chloro-4-methyl-2:3-benz-γ-isocarboline were also prepared. 4. The constitution of 1-diethylaminoethyl-2:3:4'-3'0benz-γ-carboline (and by analogy, of the corresponding 15-methoxy- and 15-chloro-compounds) has been established from a study of its methiodides. 5. The synthesis of 2:3:4':3'-quinoquinolo-4-one, 6'-methoxy-2:3:4':3'-quinoquinolo-4-one, 6'-chloro-2:3:4':3'-quinoquinolo-4-one, and of 4-chloro-2:3:4':3'-quinoquinoline, 6'-methoxy-4-chloro-2:3:4':3'-quinoquinoline and 4:6'-dichloro-2:3:4':3'-quinoquinoline from the corresponding 4-anilinoquinoline-3-carboxylic acids, has been described. These compounds are isomeric with the 5-chloropyridoacridines, which they resemble markedly in properties. 6. From the above chloroquinoquinolines, bases have been obtained by condensing them with amines such as ammonia, diethylaminoethylamine and 2-amino-5-diethylaminopentane. The constitution of the products obtained is still uncertain

A combination of O-HO and O-HN hydrogen bonds links the mol­ecules of com­pound (III) into sheets containing equal numbers of R44(14) and R44(26) rings, and a combination of C-H(arene) hydrogen bonds and three-centre O-H(N,O) hydrogen bonds links the mol­ecules of compound (II) into a three-dimensional frame­work structure.     This study of the Mercedes-Benz The New A Class website is a case study carried out with the aim of finding out that the Mercedes-Benz The New A-Class website has elements of hyper-signs as part of hyperreality, as well as proving that the Mercedes-Benz The New website A-Class is a simulation, with post-structural sign/semiotic analysis and with Jean Baudrillard's simulation theory and hyperreality approach. Some conclusions obtained from this study are; firstly, the two VRs on the Mercedes-Benz A Class website here are a simulation process, and secondly the virtual reality in it is a duplication of itself, because the reality reference does not exist. Second, on the Mercedes-Benz A Class website, pseudo/original, fake/imitation, past/present, natural/artificial are mixed up and overlapping, so that they can no longer be differentiated. This shows that the Mercedes-Benz A Class website is a form of hyperreality

    Novel Near-Infrared Cyanine Dyes for Fluorescence Imaging in Biological Systems

    Heptamethine cyanine dyes are attractive compounds for imaging purposes in biomedical applications because of their chemical and photophysical properties exhibited in the near-infrared region. A series of meso amino-substituted heptamethine cyanine dyes with indolenine, benz[e]indolenine and benz[c,d]indolenine heterocyclic moieties were synthesized and their spectral properties including fluorescence quntum yield were investigated in ethanol and ethanol/water mixture. Upon substitution with amines, the absorption maxima of the dyes shifted to the lower wavelength region (~600 nm), showed larger Stokes shifts and stronger fluorescence which can be attributed to an excited state intramolecular charge transfer (ICT). High quantum yields were observed for primary amine derivatives and lower quantum yields were observed for secondary amine derivatives. Fluorescence quantum yields are greater for dyes with 3H-indolenine terminal moieties than for dyes with benz[e]indolenine end groups. Benz[c,d]indolenine based heptamethine cyanine dyes exhibited the lowest quantum yield due to aggregation in solution. In general, the benz[e]indolenine hepatemethine cyanines showed high Stokes shifts compared to indolenine dyes. For the meso-chloro dyes, the absorption maxima for the dyes shifted bathochromically in the order of indolenine, benz[e]indolenine and benz[c,d]indolenine
