Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá možnosťami merania zaťažovacieho momentu u elektrických strojov. Popisuje princíp činnosti jednotlivých snímačov a zahrňuje výpis najznámejších výrobcov daných zariadení. U výrobcov tenzometrických hriadeľov a momentových prírub je uvedený jednoduchý prehľad zameraný na presnosť, preťaženie a rozsah merania krútiaceho momentu. V závere práce je uskutočnené meranie pre analýzu možnosti merania momentu na základe merania pomocou vybraného kalibrovaného prístroja.This thesis deals with the possibility of measuring the torque in elecrical machines. Describes the principle of operation of individual sensors and includes a listing of the most famous manufacturers of the devices. The producer strain and torque shaft flange, a simple overview focuses on accuracy, congestion and measurement range torque. In conclusion, this work is carried out to examine the possibility of measuring the torque measurement by measuring selected using a calibrated instrument.

Semantische Nähe als Ähnlichkeit von Kookkurrenzprofilen

Der Beitrag betrachtet lexikalisch-semantische Relationen aus einer emergentistischen Perspektive vor dem Hintergrund eines korpusgeleiteten empirisch-linguistischen Ansatzes. Er skizziert, wie eine systematische Erfassung und Auswertung des Kookkurrenzverhaltens von Lexemen – die Analyse der Ahnlichkeit von Kookkurrenzprofilen mit Hilfe von selbstorganisierenden lexikalischen Merkmalskarten und ihre im Diskurs verankerte Interpretation – wichtige Einblicke in die Struktur verschiedenartiger Verwendungsaspekte dieser Lexeme einschlieslich ihrer semantischen Nahe ermoglichen. Die vorgestellte Methodik wird dabei –uber die explorativ-analytischen Zielsetzungen hinaus – als eine abduktive, auf Theoriebildung zielende Generalisierungsstrategie im postulierten Lexikon-Syntax-Kontinuum verstanden. Zum Schluss werden die Anwendungsmoglichkeiten einiger Komponenten dieser Methodik in der Lexikografie, Lexikologie und Didaktik diskutiert

237 - Seasonal and Historical Trends of Cyanobacteria Dominance in Conesus Lake

The purpose of this research was three-fold. First, an analysis of long-term data was conducted to determine how the abundance of the cyanobacteria of the genus Dolichospermum changed historically since 1985 in Conesus Lake. Secondly, to look at the seasonality of the Dolichospermum blooms in the Summer of 2022. Third, to determine Dolichospermum\u27s Nitrogen-fixing activity based on analysis of the frequency of Nitrogen-fixing cells in the population (heterocysts). Long-term data shows Dolichospermum has increased in representation in recent years and in 2022 reached a peak biomass that represented 75% of all the cyanobacteria biomass and 56% of all the phytoplankton in Conesus Lake. We predict that we will see an increase in Nitrogen-fixing cells during this peak. This study is important because it shows an increase in the representation of a species of cyanobacteria that has the potential to form harmful algal blooms. A better knowledge of Dolichospermum’s population changes is important for public health and the safety of the public’s drinking water supply

Methods of Document Summarization on the Web

Práce se zabývá sumarizací dokumentů ve formátu HTML. Jako jazyk webových dokumentů byla zvolena čeština. Práce je zaměřená na algoritmy sumarizace textů. Součástí práce je však i předzpracování sumarizovaného dokumentu a převod textu na reprezentaci vhodnou pro sumarizační algoritmy. Práce krátce pojednává o všeobecném dolování textů a později se zaměřuje na sumarizaci. Představené jsou dva jednoduché sumarizační algoritmy, přičemž práce se zaměřuje na pokročilý algoritmus využívající latentní sémantické analýzy. Výsledkem práce je návrh a implementace sumarizačního modulu pro jazyk Python. Souhrny generované implementovanými sumarizačními metodami jsou v závěrečné kapitole porovnány pomocí evaluačních metod i z pohledu subjektivního hodnocení autora práce.The work deals with automatic summarization of documents in HTML format. As a language of web documents, Czech language has been chosen. The project is focused on algorithms of text summarization. The work also includes document preprocessing for summarization and conversion of text into representation suitable for summarization algorithms. General text mining is also briefly discussed but the project is mainly focused on the automatic document summarization. Two simple summarization algorithms are introduced. Then, the main attention is paid to an advanced algorithm that uses latent semantic analysis. Result of the work is a design and implementation of summarization module for Python language. Final part of the work contains evaluation of summaries generated by implemented summarization methods and their subjective comparison of the author.

Maximizing the potential of very large corpora: 50 years of big language data at IDS Mannheim

Very large corpora have been built and used at the IDS since its foundation in 1964. They have been made available on the Internet since the beginning of the 90’s to currently over 30,000 researchers worldwide. The Institute provides the largest archive of written German (Deutsches Referenzkorpus, DeReKe) which has recently been extended to 24 billion words. DeReKe has been managed and analysed by engines known as COSMAS and afterwards COSMAS II, which is currently being replaced by a new, scalable analysis platform called KorAP. KorAP makes it possible to manage and analyse texts that are accompanied by multiple, potentially conflicting, grammatical and structural annotation layers, and is able to handle resources that are distributed across different, and possibly geographically distant, storage systems. The majority of texts in DeReKe are not licensed for free redistribution, hence, the COSMAS and KorAP systems offer technical solutions to facilitate research on very large corpora that are not available (and not suitable) for download. For the new KorAP system, it is also planned to provide sandboxed environments to support non-remote-API access “near the data” through which users can run their own analysis programs

OpenXML Document Processing Library

Práce popisuje typ dokumentů Office Open XML, pro které se rovněž používá označení OpenXML. Jsou vysvětleny základní vlastnosti těchto dokumentů a jejich struktura. Dále jsou přiblíženy i další technologie DOM a XHTML nezbytné pro realizaci. Je navržena knihovna, konzument, která čte tyto dokumenty, vytvoří pro ně DOM strukturu a následně ji vyexportuje do souboru XHTML.This thesis describes the type of documents named Office Open XML, which are commonly known as OpenXML. Basic properties of these documents as well as their structure are explained. There is also an introduction to other technologies such as DOM and XHTML beacause of their inevitability in realization. Program library is designed to read these documents, build a DOM structure for them and export it as a XHTML file.

Special low-power induction motors.

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá návrhom a konštrukciou najpoužívanejších motorov v súčasnosti. Celkovo je rozdelená do piatich kapitol, pričom prvá kapitola sa zaoberá konštrukčným prevedením rôznych trojfázových asynchrónnych motorov, v druhej kapitole je v krátkosti venovaná pozornosť aj jednofázovým motorom. Nasledujúca kapitola sa zameriava na zvláštne typy motorov, ktoré sa líšia od bežných asynchrónnych motorov svojou konštrukčnou realizáciou. Jedná sa o motory s plným rotorom, hysterézne, lineárne a s tieneným pólom. Aj keď sú asynchrónne motory považované za najspoľahlivejšie stroje, práca v neideálnych podmienkach vedie k častým poruchám. Tomu sa venuje štvrtá kapitola. Na základe poznatkov z predošlých kapitol je v piatej kapitole predbežný návrh asynchrónneho motora s plným rotorom. Posledná kapitola sa venuje meraniu na funkčnom vzorku.Master thesis deals with design and construction of the most widely used engines currently. Overall, it is divided into five chapters, the first chapter deals with constructional features of various three-phase asynchronous motors, the second chapter briefly paid attention to single-phase motors. The next chapter focuses on the specific engine types, which differ from standard induction motors in its design implementation. This is an engine with full rotor, hysteresis, linear and with shaded field. Although asynchronous motors are considered the most reliable machines work in imperfect conditions, it leads to frequent breakdowns. This is covered in chapter four. Based on the findings from previous chapters the fifth chapter includes a preliminary draft of the asynchronous motor with a full rotor. The last chapter is devoted to the measurement on functional models.

Zwischen Empirie und Ästhetik – Ansätze zur korpuslinguistischen Untersuchung und Bewertung von Sprachwandel

Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Frage, wie und inwieweit korpusbasierte Ansätze zur Untersuchung und Bewertung von Sprachwandel beitragen können. Die Bewertung von Sprachwandel erscheint in dieser Hinsicht interessant, da sie erstens von größerem öffentlichen Interesse ist, zweitens nicht zu den Kernthemen der Sprachwissenschaft zählt und drittens sowohl die geisteswissenschaftlichen Aspekte der Sprachwissenschaft berührt als auch die empirischen, die eher für die so genannten harten Wissenschaften typisch sind. Letzteres trifft bei der Frage nach Sprachverfall (gutem vs. schlechtem Deutsch diachron) vermutlich unbestrittener zu als bei der Frage nach richtigem vs. falschem Deutsch, da zu ihrer Beantwortung offensichtlich einerseits empirische, messbare Kriterien herangezogen werden müssen, andererseits aber auch weitere Kriterien notwendig sind und es außerdem einer Entscheidung zur Einordnung und Gewichtung der verschiedenartigen Kriterien sowie einer Begründung dieser Entscheidung bedarf. Zur Annäherung an die Fragestellung werden zunächst gängige, leicht operationalisierbare Hypothesen zu Symptomen eines potenziellen Verfalls des Deutschen auf verschiedenen DeReKo-basierten Korpora überprüft und im Hinblick auf ihre Verallgemeinerbarkeit und Tragweite diskutiert. Im zweiten Teil werden weitere empirische Ansätze zur Untersuchung von Wandel, Variation und Dynamik skizziert, die zur Diskussion spezieller Aspekte von Sprachverfall beitragen könnten. Im Schlussteil werden die vorgestellten Ansätze in den Gesamtkontext einer sprachwissenschaftlichen Untersuchung von Sprachverfall gestellt und vor dem Hintergrund seines gesellschaftlichen Diskurses reflektiert

\u27Bici-Bomba\u27 Pedal Powered Well Purification System

This senior design project consists of designing and building a bike powered well pump that purifies water. The Guatemalan NGO Maya Pedal is the critical customer that requested this project, and will help facilitate implementing it in the San Andres community. The project addresses these main needs: providing an easier, faster way to retrieve water and to clean water to safe drinking levels. In addition to these primary needs, a major goal is having the project be scalable within the San Andres community. This means that all of the components are available in Guatemala at reasonable prices, it is durable and no parts need to be replaced regularly, and it is replicable for the local Guatemalans with the equipment currently available. The entire system is designed in Solidworks, with a focus on the flywheel, water tank stand, and bike base which are fully new components that will undergo loading. To help enable a successful project, the team took an initial visit to Guatemala in the Winter to take measurements and gather critical information about the community in order to be better prepared for our Spring Break visit which was unfortunately cancelled because of COVID-19 concerns. The rescoped project goal is to still help Maya Pedal build this machine remotely
