Introduction. Studies are indicative that about a quarter of infants in Ukraine have atopic manifestations. If the breastfeeding is impossible, hypoallergenic mixtures should be used. The arm of the research. To establish clinico-paraclinical efficacy of hypoallergenic mixtures TM “Humana Ha” in infants with clinical manifestations of atopic abnormality of constitution. Methods. 27 children aged from 2 to 12 months with the symptoms of atopic dermatitis and 25 infants who were fed on formula and had the usual signs of wheezing syndrome underwent complex examination. Results. In the Ist clinical group among patients with mild forms of eczema (11,1%) score on EASI scale decreased from 28,8 ± 2,1 to score 12,2 ± 1,8 score (P <0,05). The using mixture “Humana-HA” was led to a decrease in absolute risk register high concentration of IL-4 in serum by 20,9%, relative risk reduction – 23,5% (95% CI 15,5-33,1), and the minimum number of patients which should be treatment to get one positive result was 4,2 (95% CI 1,2-10,4). Conclusions. The using of partially hydrolyzed mixture “Humana-HA” in infants with signs of atopic dermatitis significantly improves the flow of mild and moderate forms. Application of partial protein hydrolyzate ”Humana-HA” in the diet of infants with atopic dermatitis reduces the content of immunoglobulin E and interleukin-4 in serum

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. This paper describes the analysis and modelling of word usage frequency time series. During one of previous studies, an assumption was put forward that all word usage frequencies have uniform dynamics approaching the shape of a Gaussian function. This assumption can be checked using the frequency dictionaries of the Google Books Ngram database. This database includes 5.2 million books published between 1500 and 2008. The corpus contains over 500 billion words in American English, British English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew, and Chinese. We clustered time series of word usage frequencies using a Kohonen neural network. The similarity between input vectors was estimated using several algorithms. As a result of the neural network training procedure, more than ten different forms of time series were found. They describe the dynamics of word usage frequencies from birth to death of individual words. Different groups of word forms were found to have different dynamics of word usage frequency variations

Introduction: The current literature is still a controversial question of the possibility konstellation approach to the integrated use of indicators of clinical and immunological examination criteria as early diagnosis of bronchial asthma in children under three years with the presence of airflow obstruction syndrome, as well as the effectiveness of treatment and prognosis of asthma. Accordingly, the purpose of the work was the creation of a mathematical model of asthma in young children, which is necessary for the purpose of a rational treatment strategy in patients with bronchial asthma. Survey methods: to achieve this goal we carried out a comprehensive clinical and immunological study of 55 children aged 3 years, patients with asthma, which included a thorough investigation of allergic history, clinical signs of expression of broncho-obstructive syndrome, to determine the level of CD4 +, CD8 + lymphocytes, total Ig E, the metabolic activity of the blood eosinophil according to NBT-test, the intracellular content of the main cytotoxic substances eosinophils (cationic protein, peroxidase). The results: The analysis found that none of these criteria have sufficient sensitivity, specificity, to be used independently for the production or exclude the diagnosis of asthma. Multivariate analysis of clinical - laboratory data allowed to identify the major components of the factor structure of clinical - paraclinical “image” of asthma in young children. Based on a study of the factor loading main components of multi-factor matrix was established a factor structure of the image of Asthma: Asthma = 0,6 FI + (-0,3) F2 +0,3 F3, where FI - particularly the immune status of the child in the form of increasing the content of blood CD4 - lymphocytes and decreased CD8, as well as improve the immuno-regulatory index (CD4/ CD8) greater than 2.0. Factor loadings of the indicator 0,72; F2 - negative reserve oxygen-dependent metabolism of eosinophilic granulocytes of peripheral blood according to the spontaneous and stimulated NBT test, reduced the intracellular content of cationic proteins (<1.4 USD) and peroxidase (<1.7 USD). Factor loadings of these indicators were within 0,84 - 0,86; F3 - rates the severity of airflow obstruction syndrome during the first three days of treatment in the hospital. Factor loadings measure severity of broncho-obstructive syndrome in the first day of hospitalization was - 0.91 for the second - 0.94, on the third - 0.88; Conclusion: Thus, our multivariate analysis using the principal component analysis allowed establishing the factor structure of diagnosis “bronchial asthma”

The effect of Nucleinat included in the basic therapy of bronchial asthma (BA) has been analyzed by means of double-blind, placebo-controlled method in 98 school age children. Two clinical groups were formed with the help of the table accidental numbers. The application of the Nucleinat in complex anti-inflammatory therapy of the BA was accompanied by decrease of bronchial hyperresponsiveness due to the possible reduction of the inflammatory process activity in the airways. The use of Nucleinat in the basic therapy of the school-age children significantly reduced the risk of moderate bronchial responsiveness: DAR – 28,5%, DRR – 54,8%, MNT – 1,8 (95% CІ 0,1-7,1)

© 2015 COSPAR. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved. The dynamics of the 2D solitary nonlinear internal gravity waves (IGW), as well as traveling ionospheric disturbances (TID) of the electron density excited by them at heights of the ionosphere F-region, for conditions close to those of the F-layer assuming that the source of initial perturbation has the pulse character is studied analytically and numerically. On a level with general case the rather interesting applications when the sharp gradients of the ionospheric parameters are the functions of space coordinates and time, namely the IGW and TID dynamics in the frontal regions of the solar terminator and solar eclipse are considered. The results obtained describe the dynamical structure, evolution and transformation of the IGW and TID at heights of the ionosphere F-layer including its strongly heterogeneous regions

© 2016, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.On the basis of the model of the three-dimensional (3D) generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation for magnetic field h = B~/B the formation, stability, and dynamics of 3D soliton-like structures, such as the beams of fast magnetosonic (FMS) waves generated in ionospheric and magnetospheric plasma at a low-frequency branch of oscillations when β = 4πnT/B2 ≪ 1 and β > 1, are studied. The study takes into account the highest dispersion correction determined by values of the plasma parameters and the angle θ = (B, k), which plays a key role in the FMS beam propagation at those angles to the magnetic field that are close to π/2. The stability of multidimensional solutions is studied by an investigation of the Hamiltonian boundness under its deformations on the basis of solving of the corresponding variational problem. The evolution and dynamics of the 3D FMS wave beam are studied by the numerical integration of equations with the use of specially developed methods. The results can be interpreted in terms of the self-focusing phenomenon, as the formation of a stationary beam and the scattering and self-focusing of the solitary beam of FMS waves. These cases were studied with a detailed investigation of all evolutionary stages of the 3D FMS wave beams in the ionospheric and magnetospheric plasma

Modelling of nonlinear filtering Poisson time series

© Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.In this article, algorithms of non-linear filtering of Poisson time series are tested using statistical modelling. The objective is to find a representation of a time series as a wavelet series with a small number of non-linear coefficients, which allows distinguishing statistically significant details. There are well-known efficient algorithms of non-linear wavelet filtering for the case when the values of a time series have a normal distribution. However, if the distribution is not normal, good results can be expected using the maximum likelihood estimations. The filtration is studied according to the criterion of maximum likelihood by the example of Poisson time series. For direct optimisation of the likelihood function, different stochastic (genetic algorithms, annealing method) and deterministic optimization algorithms are used. Testing of the algorithm using both simulated series and empirical data (series of rare words frequencies according to the Google Books Ngram data were used) showed that filtering based on the criterion of maximum likelihood has a great advantage over well-known algorithms for the case of Poisson series. Also, the most perspective methods of optimisation were selected for this problem

© 2015 Elsevier Ltd. The nonlinear dynamics of the 3D solitary Alfvén waves propagating nearly parallel to the external magnetic field in plasma of ionosphere and magnetosphere, which are described by the model of the 3-DNLS equation, is studied analytically and numerically. Under the assumption of negligible dissipative effects the analytical estimates and the sufficient conditions for the stability of 3D solutions of the 3-DNLS equation are obtained, based on the transformational properties of the system's Hamiltonian for the whole range of the equation coefficients. On the basis of asymptotic analysis the solutions asymptotics are presented. To study the evolution of the 3D Alfvén solitary waves including propagation of the Alfvén waves' beams in a magnetized plasma the equation are integrated numerically using the simulation codes specially developed. The results show that the 3-DNLS equation in non-dissipative case can have the stable 3D solutions in form of the 3D Alfvén solitons, and also on a level with them the 3D solutions collapsing or dispersing with time. In terms of the self-focusing phenomenon the results obtained can be interpreted as the formation of the stationary Alfvén wave beam propagating nearly parallel to magnetic field, or Alfvén wave beam spreading, or the self-focusing of the Alfvén wave beam. The influence of the dissipation in the medium on structure and character of evolution of 3D Alfvén waves is studied
