Zobrazování otroctví v britské černošské literatuře

Tato práce se zabývá černošskou britskou literaturou která se zaobírá problematikou otroctví. Vybraní autoři jsou buďto karibského nebo afro-indického (ačkoli byla použita jedna americká prozaička pro potřebu srovnání) původu a patří do černošské diaspory v Británii. Otázka otroctví v Karibiku je ústřední pro formování a vytváření identity a definování pojmu domova v diskutovaných pracích. Cílem této práce je zjistit dopad minulosti otroctví na identitu lidí v černošské britské diaspoře, jakož i určit postoj a estetický výběr nejvhodnější pro reprezentaci této traumatické minulosti. První část této práce se zaměřuje na teoretické pozadí tématu otroctví v Karibiku s cílem definovat pojmy jako diaspora, kulturní identita, paměť a potíže nejen umělecké reprezentace otroctví, ale i jeho zapamatování. Tato část obsahuje také historické pozadí otroctví a obchodu s otroky v Británii a Karibiku v osmnáctém a devatenáctém století, aby se dala posoudit přesnost děl a byla chápána krutá realita otroctví. V následujících kapitolách jsou autoři jednotlivě představeni a základní informace o nich slouží k určeních jejich stanoviska a často dopomohou vysvětlit výběr témat a použité výpravné techniky. The chosen authors are of a Caribbean or an Afro-Indian (though, an American novelist was used for needs of comparison) origin and belong to the black diaspora in Britain. The issue of slavery in the Caribbean is central to the forming of and creating an identity and defining the concept of home in the works debated. The aim of this thesis is to determine the impact of the past of slavery on the identity of people in the black British diaspora as well as to determine the approach and aesthetic choice most appropriate for representation of such traumatic past. The first part of this thesis concentrates on theoretical background of the topic of slavery in the Caribbean in order to define terms such as diaspora, cultural identity, memory and the difficulty of not only artistic representation of slavery but also its remembering. It also includes the historical background of slavery and slave trade in Britain and the Caribbean in the eighteenth and the nineteenth century in order to be able to judge the accuracy of the works and to comprehend the cruel reality of slavery. "Cožpak nejsem člověk a bratr?": Reprezentace otroctví v Západní Indii a abolicionistická rétorika na cestě k emancipaci

Tato práce se zabývá literaturou spojenou se zrušením otroctví v britských koloniích. Práce se zabývá tématem abolicionistického hnutí ze společenské, kulturní a literárně historické perspektivy od počátku až do zrušení otroctví v britských koloniích v Karibiku v roce 1833 Zákonem o ukončení otroctví. Práce je zaměřená na diskurz rasy a otroctví. Vybraní autoři reprezentují rozdílné názory a perspektivy, jelikož práce obsahuje jak představitele sentimentální poezie, tak cestopisy i autobiografie otroků. Hlavním cílem je určit a vymezit strategie abolicionistického diskurzu a rétorické postupy, které byly používány, a to zejména při utváření obrazu Afričanů a jak hegemonický diskurz sentimentalismu ovlivnil jejich psaní. První část práce se zabývá utvořením teoretického základu a definováním literárních tradic a zvyků z osmnáctého století, definice sentimentálního diskurzu a filosofie osvícenství. To bude dáno do kontextu s definicí "orientalismu" Edwarda Saida a také teorie "černého Atlantiku" od Paula Gilroye, která umožní definovat prostor mezi Británií, Afrikou a Karibikem, kde se historie otroctví v Británii odehrála. The thesis will treat the topic of the abolitionist movement from the perspective of social, cultural and literary history from the beginnings until the abolition of slavery in British colonies in the Caribbean in 1833 with the Slavery Abolition Act. The thesis will focus on the discourse of race and slavery. The chosen authors represent different opinions and perspectives as the discussion will focus on sentimental poetry, travel writings as well as slave narratives. The chief aim is to identify and define the strategies of abolitionist discourse and the rhetorical practices which it employed especially in shaping the image of Africans and how the hegemonic discourse of sentimentalism influenced their writing. The first part of the thesis is concerned with establishing a theoretical background and the establishing of the literary traditions and customs of the eighteenth century, definition of the sentimental discourse and philosophies of the Enlightenment. Italian sacred monody north of the Alps : from Chiara Margarita Cozzolani's Scherzi di sacra melodia (1648) to Daniel Speer's Philomela angelica (1688)

The arrangements of the six solo motets originally composed in the 1640s by Milanese singer and composer Chiara Margarita Cozzolani (1602–1676/1678), which were elaborated by the Silesian composer Daniel Speer (1636–1707), and published in his Philomela angelica collection, are specific examples of the intricate ways and various forms of dissemination of Italian music beyond the Alps and its assimilation and adaptation in different periods and places. The article presents the current research on the facts and circumstances which caused Speer's interest in the 40 year old music of the Milanese nun. Some hypotheses for further research are introduced and the procedures applied in the creation of these arrangements are discussed. Speer intentionally wanted to propose a modernised version of the originals reflecting the development of the concertante style of the high-Baroque period

Philomela angelica Daniela Speera – k neznámemu dielu známeho hudobníka

Philomela Angelica Cantionum Sacrarum by Daniel Speer is one of the lesser known works of this famous Silesian musician, music theoretician, writer and composer. The collection, which contains 24 small-scale sacred concertos (or concertant motets) with Latin biblical and original period religious texts, was printed in an unknown printing house in 1688. This study comprises the results of research of the music published in this collection which show direct inspiration sources based on the repertoire of the Milan motet of the 1640s. Criticism regarding the source has also raised other questions related to the true origin of this collection, its period reception and extreme popularity in the musical centers of the 17th century on the territory of present day Slovakia, as well as the issues related to solo motet style transformations and regional customs in instrumentation practice

Specifics of the Slovak electoral system

Volební systém do Národní rady Slovenské republiky je označován jako systém poměrného zastoupení, kterého charakteristickým znakem jsou volby, konající se v rámci jediného volebního obvodu. O zavedení jednoho volebního obvodu se zasloužila kontroverzní novela volebního zákona, nazývaná "Mečiarov zákon". První část práce je zaměřena na obecnou klasifikaci volebních systémů, další je věnována popisu vývoje volebního systému na Slovensku a jeho změn a současně představuje názory současných parlamentních stran na danou problematiku. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení dopadu zavedení celostátního obvodu pro parlamentní volby na Slovensku. Pro dosažení daného cíle budu využívat metodu komparace, která na základě zvolených kritérií porovná situaci před a po zavedení novely, která jeden volební obvod ustanovila.The electoral system for the National Council of the Slovak Republic is referred to as a system of proportional representation, whose hallmark is that the elections take place within a single district. The provision of a single district for parliamentary elections had merit in the controversial reform of the electoral law, so called Meciarov zákon (Meciars'law). The first part of the thesis focuses on the general classification of electoral system, the other describes the development of the electoral system in Slovakia and its changes and also represents the ideas of the current political parties to this question. The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the impact on the establishment of a single nation-wide district for the parliamentary elections in Slovakia. To achieve the objective the method of comparison is used, which, based on selected criteria, compares the situation before and after the provision of the reform that, established a single district.Volebný systém do Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky sa označuje ako systém pomerného zastúpenia a jeho charakteristickým znakom je, že sa voľby odohrávajú v rámci jedného volebného obvodu. Prvá časť práce sa sústredí na všeobecnú klasifikáciu volebných systémov, ďalšia sa venuje popisu vývoja volebného systému na Slovensku a jeho zmien a zároveň predstavuje názory súčasných parlamentných strán a na túto problematiku. The aim of the work is to analyze the integration of pupils with mental disability in major type of education system, valorize its strengths and to point out possible failings. The theoretical part defines the basic terms associated with mental disabilities, school integration, common elementary school education of mentally disabled pupils and characterizes the role of integration counseling system. The practical part of this work approaches a particular process of integration at two elementary schools in practice. It describes the environment of schools with an inclusive themed activities that are carried out at an Primary School Na Líše and Primary School Dukelska. Analysis of the survey includes case studies of individually integrated pupils, the results of the questionnaire survey and investigation by sociometric method with integrated pupils classmates, the results of parents' questionnaire survey and teacher interviews.
