Cap a una ciutadania intercultural. Un tema emergent a la recerca educativa

En este artículo ofrecemos una aproximación al estudio de la ciudadanía intercultural desde la investigación educativa. Para ello, hemos resumido en primer lugar, los nuevos planteamientos de la ciudadanía que fundamentan la investigación realizada por el GREDI en estos últimos años. Nuestro modelo recoge, como rasgos claves de la ciudadanía que pretendemos se desarrolle desde la educación, el hecho de ser, al tiempo, activa y responsable, crítica e intercultural; desarrollada en el ámbito local pero abierta a niveles más amplios. Posteriormente el artículo sintetiza algunas de las investigaciones llevadas a cabo en este campo. La segunda parte de este artículo ofrece un resumen de una de las investigaciones realizadas por el GREDI y que ha permitido diagnosticar los elementos que configuran el concepto y la práctica de la ciudadanía en los jóvenes de 14 a 16 años en Barcelona. Se concluye señalando los elementos significativos que pueden encontrarse en las investigaciones presentadas y que permiten dibujar las líneas de avance para quienes deseen adentrarse en la investigación de esta área temática. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cette approche de l’étude de la citoyenneté interculturelle à partir de la recherche éducative débute par une synthèse des nouveaux concepts de citoyenneté élaborés par le GREDI au cours des recherches effectuées ces dernières années. L’auteur défend que c’est l’éducation qui débouchera sur cette nouvelle citoyenneté à la fois active et responsable, critique et interculturelle, appelée à s’exercer au niveau local mais ouverte également sur des horizons plus larges. Après une synthèse des principales recherches effectuées dans ce domaine, la deuxième partie de l’article est consacrée au compte-rendu d’un travail du GREDI ayant permis de diagnostiquer les éléments constituants la théorie et la pratique de la citoyenneté chez les jeunes Barcelonais âgés de 14 à 16 ans. Enfin, un relevé des aspects significatifs des travaux publiés récemment donne des orientations qui peuvent être utiles pour ceux qui souhaiteraient poursuivre des recherches dans ce domaine.This article examines the study of intercultural citizenship within educational research. In so doing, the article first summarises the new approaches to citizenship underpinning the research conducted by the GREDI (Intercultural Education Research Group) in recent years. A model is presented which incorporates, as key traits of the citizenship that we seek to develop through education, the fact of being both active and responsible, critical and intercultural; played out in the local sphere but open to wider levels. The article moves on to summarise some of the research undertaken in this field. The second part offers a précis of one of the studies carried out by the GREDI and which has enabled us to diagnose the elements, both conceptually and in practice, that make up the citizenship of adolescents aged between 14 and 16 years old in Barcelona. Structural and magnetic properties of amorphous Co-W alloyed nanoparticles

Results show the formation of amorphous Co-W alloy nanoparticles, the magnetic properties of which are modified by the amount of W or Co present in the samples. The average Co magnetic moment depends on the number of W atoms surrounding it. Co-W particles show superparamagnetic behavior and are described as an array of noninteracting particles with random anisotropy axes and an average moment per particle proportional to the particle volume and to the average Co moment for each alloy composition. Values of the magnetic anisotropy constant of the particles are on the order of 106 erg/cm3, higher than that of bulk Co. Evidence of short-range ordering within each amorphous particle is found that provides insight of the origin of their magnetic anisotropy.The financial support of MICINN-FEDER MAT08/1077 and Aragonese IMANA project is acknowledged. El món rural no és un refugi sociològicament aïllat i estancat; al contrari, es troba immers en un procés de remodelació constant, tant a nivell social com a nivell econòmic. Aquests canvis s'han manifestat intensament a les zones de muntanya, les quals són especialment sensibles, com l'estudiada en aquesta recerca, centrada a la comarca del Pallars Sobirà. Magnetic anisotropy of maghemite nanoparticles probed by RF transverse susceptibility

We present radio frequency magnetic transverse susceptibility measurements on γ-Fe2O3 nanoparticles, which yield an estimation of their effective anisotropy constant, Keff as a function of nanoparticle size. The resulting values range from 4 to 8 × 104 erg/cm3, being on the order of the magnetocrystalline anisotropy in bulk maghemite. Keff values increase as the particle diameter increases. Evidences of anisotropy field distribution given by the size distribution in the samples, and interparticle interactions that increase as the particle size increases, are also observed in the TS measurements. Síndroma Ovo-Ave na Criança:Um Caso Clínico

A síndroma ovo -ave é uma entidade clínica rara, em especial em idade pediátrica. Descreve -se o caso de criança de sexo masculino, 5 anos, que habita zona rural, com clínica sugestiva de alergia ao ovo e à carne de frango desde os 7 meses. Aos 2,5 anos apresenta queixas de asma brônquica, rinite alérgica e eczema atópico. Os testes cutâneos foram positivos para extractos de clara e gema de ovo. Dosearam -se IgE específi cas para clara e gema de ovo (>100 kU/L), carne de frango (1,0 kU/L), α -livetina (0,7 kU/L), penas de frango (15,3 kU/L). O estudo de immunoblotting evidenciou ligação de IgE a bandas com peso molecular entre 30-66 kDa e 32-45 kDa para clara e gema, respectivamente, 38/39/42 kDa para carne de frango e 33-45 kDa para penas de frango. Em doentes com alergia a carne de aves, expostos a factores ambientais de risco e sensibilização elevada a gema de ovo, dever -se -á suspeitar da síndroma ovo-ave

Morphology and magnetic properties of W-capped Co nanoparticles

3 páginas, 3 figuras, 2 tablas.-- et al.Co–W nanoparticles formed by sequential sputtering of Co on amorphous alumina substrate and subsequent W capping are studied by high resolution and by scanning transmission electron microscopies, and by superconducting quantum interference device magnetometry. The analysis is focused on W nominal thickness dependence. Results suggest the formation of amorphous Co–W alloy nanoparticles, whose magnetic moment per Co atom is systematically reduced as the nominal thickness of W capping layer increases. The Co–W nanoparticles show superparamagnetic behavior. The activation energy for moment reversal and the effective anisotropy are obtained.The financial support of MAT08/1077 is acknowledged. A. I.
