    Basically, the subject matter taught in schools, especially SMA PGRI Lahat Regency, in subjects is still minimal in enrichment material, especially in lessons at school. So that the results of renewable lecturers' research can be used as additional material through socialization with teachers and students. The theme of this activity is "socialization of the field trip method as a modern learning medium at SMA PGRI Labupaten Lahat". The resource persons for this activity were Erma Yulaini S.Pd., M.Si, Ana Theriana, M.Pd, Ida Suryani, M.Pd, Barkudin, M.Pd, Diana Widhi Rachmawati M.Pd, Imelda Ratih Ayu, M. Pd, Dana Luspa, M.Pd. the activity has been carried out for 2 days using 4-5 hours a day, continued tomorrow. The presenters will deliver the material for 5-10 minutes and after that a question and answer discussion is held with the PkM participants, with the aim that the participants, both teachers and students, can understand and know the content of the material presented, increase knowledge, and can also make additional material in the subject. The next activity is the provision of information and promotion of study programs at the University of PGRI Palembang, with the hope that PkM participants can know and understand academic and non-academic activities and invite them to join as part of the students of the University of PGRI Palembang.     AbstrakPermasalahan dalam penelitian ini mengenai apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Outbound terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran Outbound terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Design Only Posttest Control. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini model pembelajaran Outbound dan variabel terikat yaitu menulis puisi. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 6 kelas, sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIII.6 kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII.3 kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan menggunakan teknik tes, teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian hipotesis bahwa Ho diterima jika thitung < ttabel dan Ha diterima jika thitung > ttabel oleh karena itu thitung dengan nilai 11,71 lebih besar dibandingkan ttabel dengan nilai 1,66 sehingga ada pengaruh metode Outbound dalam menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII MTS N 1 Empat Lawang.Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Outbound, Menulis Puis

    Teknik Field Trip dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Feature yang Berkearifan Lokal pada Siswa SMA

    Writing features was still difficult for high school students, especially in expressing ideas by telling short, clear, and interesting facts. For that, we need the right technique in teaching features. One technique that is expected to help students be able to write features is the field trip technique. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to describe the application of the field trip technique in improving the ability to write features with local wisdom in high school students. The method used in this research is a classroom action research method. The action research process consists of a four-stage procedure, namely planning, action, development, and reflection. Based on pre-test data and two cycles, the use of field trip techniques can improve students' ability to write features. This increase can be seen in the achievement of the KKM, which reaches a value of 75 from the pre-cycle of 7 students or 41%, in the first cycle there are 13 students who have completed or 76%, then in the second cycle there are 17 students who have completed or 100%. Meanwhile, those who have not reached the KKM have decreased from pre-cycle by 59%, cycle I by 24%, and cycle II to 0%. For this reason, it is recommended that the field trip technique be applied in learning to write at the high school level and equivalent by providing texts that have elements of local wisdom.Menulis feature masih menjadi suatu yang sulit bagi siswa SMA terutama dalam menuangkan gagasan dengan cara mengisahkan fakta yang singkat, jelas, dan menarik. Untuk itu, diperlukan teknik yang tepat dalam mengajarkan feature. Salah satu teknik yang diharapkan membantu mahasiswa mampu menulis feature yaitu teknik field trip. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan teknik field trip dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis feature yang berkeraifan lokal pada siswa SMA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Proses penelitian tindakan terdiri dari prosedur empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengembangan, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan data pra test dan dua kali siklus, penggunaan teknik field trip dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menulis feature. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat pada ketercapaian KKM yaitu mencapai nilai 75 dari pra siklus berjumlah 7 orang peserta didik atau  41%, siklus I terdapat 13  orang peserta didik yang tuntas atau 76%, kemudian siklus II terdapat 17 orang peserta didik tuntas atau 100%. Sedangkan yang belum mencapai KKM mengalami penurunan dari pra siklus sebesar 59%, siklus I sebesar 24%, dan siklus II menjadi 0%. Untuk itu, teknik field trip direkomendasikan bisa diterapkan dalam pembelajaran menulis pada jenjang SMA dan sederajat dengan memberikan teks yang memiliki unsur kearifa lokal
