Co-design of designers and artisans, valorisation and communication of the partnership - a reflection for sustainable fashion design

Inserted in this movement of ethical responsibility, valorization of culture, as well as the positive impact generated for society as we craved, this paper proposes to reflect on the partnership between designers and artisans in the development of the fashion product, considering that in most cases the role of the artisan in the works of co-design is perceived as secondary in relation to the designer. Therefore, the objective of this work is to promote the valorization of the artisan's work, in a meritocratic way, exposing the problem of co-authorship of design products and how these can be communicated in a transparent and fairway. For this, the methodology of the case study was used to present examples of co-design partnerships in the creation of design products, in which the artisan has the same protagonism of the designer in the co-authorship of the product. Región y nación: el Río Grande insurgente, entre el Imperio de Brasil y las repúblicas del Río de la Plata (1838-1842)

El siglo diecinueve fue marcado por el proceso de descolonización y el consecuente proceso de formación de los Estados nacionales en Latinoamérica. Durante muchos años las guerras civiles entre diferentes grupos políticos fueron la característica más visible de aquellos tiempos. El artículo presente busca una explicación para la secesión de la provincia brasileña del Rio Grande do Sul ubicada en el extremo surdel país, en la frontera con el Estado Oriental del Uruguay y la Confederación Argentina. Los insurgentes proclamaron su independencia del Imperio de Brasil bajo el nombre de República Rio-Grandense, tratando desde luego de firmar compromisos políticos y económicoscon las repúblicas vecinas como una manera de asegurarse contra los esfuerzos del gobierno brasileño en reintegrar su provincia desgarrada. La República Rio-Grandense se mantuvo desde 1836 hasta 1845, pero el texto muestra los actos diplomáticos más importantes de los rebelados, que ocurrieron entre 1838 y 1842

Limited vegetative compatibility as a cause of somatic recombination in: Trichoderma pseudokoningii.

With the aim of a better characterization of the somatic recombination process in Trichoderma pseudokoningii, a progeny from crossings between T. pseudokoningii strains contrasting for auxotroph markers was characterized by RAPD markers and PFGE (electrophoretic karyotype). Cytological studies of the conidia, conidiogenesis and heterokaryotic colonies were also performed. The genotypes of the majority of the recombinant strains analyzed were similar to only one of the parental strains and the low frequency of polymorphic RAPD bands suggested that the nuclear fusions may not occur into the heterokaryon. In some heterokaryotic regions the existence of intensely staining hyphae might be related to cell death. We proposed that a mechanism of somatic recombination other than parasexuality might occur, being related to limited vegetative compatibility after postfusion events, as described for other Trichoderma species

Cell-type-specific resolution epigenetics without the need for cell sorting or single-cell biology.

High costs and technical limitations of cell sorting and single-cell techniques currently restrict the collection of large-scale, cell-type-specific DNA methylation data. This, in turn, impedes our ability to tackle key biological questions that pertain to variation within a population, such as identification of disease-associated genes at a cell-type-specific resolution. Here, we show mathematically and empirically that cell-type-specific methylation levels of an individual can be learned from its tissue-level bulk data, conceptually emulating the case where the individual has been profiled with a single-cell resolution and then signals were aggregated in each cell population separately. Provided with this unprecedented way to perform powerful large-scale epigenetic studies with cell-type-specific resolution, we revisit previous studies with tissue-level bulk methylation and reveal novel associations with leukocyte composition in blood and with rheumatoid arthritis. For the latter, we further show consistency with validation data collected from sorted leukocyte sub-types
