The relegated modality or the prototypical function emphasised? Pretérito perfecto, pretérito indefinido, pretérito imperfecto de indicativo in the ELE teaching
The subject of the present article is the place which is attributed to the modality in pedagogical approaches of the system of past tenses in Spanish. This analysis indicates that in ELE handbooks, very often, the comparison between Pretérito Perfecto and Pretérito Indefinido is based on time criteria without taking into consideration the pragmatics, such as: the relation established by the speaker between himself and the statement he makes. Besides, the idea of temporality, suggested there, has little to do with linguistic temporality. Which in turn leads to the falseness on the level of discourse and language categories
In the present study we intend to examine the so-called turn-taking model to verify to what extent the different phenomena, which are assigned to it, are changing. We will try to confi rm how they change not only with structural qualifi cations but also with relational values that, according to conversational analysis and postulates of speech ethnography, correspond to interpersonal functions. What is more, we shall demonstrate that overlaps and interruptions are products of the different pragmatic intentions and they cannot be seen only in terms of deviations or transgressions to the system of distribution of parole
La subjetivización y las dinámicas interaccionales
oai:ojs.pressto.amu.edu.pl:article/33The following paper describes the microgenetic analysis of the translation process of 'Le Petit Chaperon Rouge' carried out by six students during the Translation Seminar of Scientific and Literary Texts and its Didactics, instructed at the Institute of Research in Education of the University of Veracruz. This article’s purpose is to demonstrate the process which was carried out during the microgenetic analysis, as well as to give an initial report of its results and the advantages that this kind of analysis could represent for the translation teaching-learning process. Furthermore, we describe the computer program called El Espía, which enabled us to explore thoroughly and automatically the students’ translation process, in order to identify learning scenarios and carried out a microgenetic analysis. In the present article the subjectification process is being discussed in relation to the concept of interactional dynamics. It is suggested that to encode various semantic-pragmatic profiles can lead to changes at the level of communicative behavior patterns, which, for their part, are dominated by a particular order of socio-cultural conventionalization. The scope of conversational markers or nominal forms of address (NFA), which are submitted to analysis in the present study, indicates that the routinizing language use, together with an explicit grammatical manifestation, covers areas that appear to be semantically and pragmatically important in a given speaking community
Strategic priorities for implementation of father-inclusive practice in mental health services for children and families:A Delphi expert consensus study
Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate expert consensus on barriers and facilitators to the organizational implementation of Father-Inclusive Practice (FIP) in child and family services to establish strategic priorities for implementation.
Methods: An international panel of 56 experts in child and family service provision and father inclusion were surveyed using the Delphi technique. Three online questionnaires were used to gather opinions and measure experts’ levels of agreement in regard to factors that enable or hinder the organizational implementation of FIP. Survey design, analysis and interpretation was guided by the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR).
Results: Consensus was achieved for 46.4% (n=13) statements. Eight barriers and five facilitators were identified as strategic priorities to organizational implementation of FIP. The key factors were related to the following CFIR themes: leadership engagement, access to information and knowledge, implementation climate, structural characteristics, networks and communication, client needs and resources, external policies and incentives, and reflecting and evaluating.
Conclusions: The study findings suggest that issues related to central prioritization, top-down organizational processes and external policy context should represent priority areas for implementation. Our results prioritise methods for improving FIP by highlighting the key areas of organizational practice to be addressed by tailored implementation strategies
Morphometric changes in the corpus luteum of pregnant hypokinetic rats
The aim of this work was to study the influence of hypokinetic conditions on
the ovary and corpus luteum of pregnant rats. The rats were kept in hypokinetic
conditions for 5 days in the period between the 13th and 18th days of
pregnancy. A three-dimensional reconstruction of the ovary and corpora lutea
and also a stereological evaluation of the luteal cells and their nuclei were
performed using serially cut material. Hypokinesia caused a decrease in the
mean volume of the ovary and individual corpus luteum and in the total volume
of corpora lutea per ovary in immobilised animals as compared to the
control. Moreover, a decrease was observed in the mean number of luteal
cells and an increase in the size of these cells, as well as in the mean volume
fraction of their nuclei. These results indicate that immobilisation of pregnant
rats for 5 days considerably influences the morphology of the corpus luteum
and luteal cells
What is the role for child and family services in improving father engagement? Translating research into practice
BACKGROUND: Fathers are underrepresented in services focused on improving child and family well-being. Despite growing awareness of benefits to father engagement in the last two decades, no significant improvements in this area have been documented. Evidence shows that father engagement is greatly influenced by organizational service provision. However, the understanding of specific service-level factors that impact father engagement is limited, and further information on strategies to overcome barriers to father engagement in services is required.
AIMS: This research project had two objectives. The first was to synthesise existing research on service-level barriers and facilitators to father engagement in child and family services. The second objective was to identify the key factors that help or hinder the organizational implementation of Father-Inclusive Practice.
METHODS: A systematic review of 23 qualitative studies reporting on barriers and facilitators to father engagement was conducted to distil the key elements of service provision that impact father engagement. An empirical study used Delphi methodology to gather expert opinion on strategic priorities for implementation of Father-Inclusive Practice.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Father engagement in child and family services was found to be influenced by seven key themes that encompassed a mixture of individual practitioner competence and organizational characteristics. Furthermore, the experts agreed that implementation of father-inclusive practice was more likely to be successful if it is centrally prioritized, encouraged by the service leadership, embedded in policies and staff guidance, and encouraged by government and commissioning agencies. Results highlight the areas of service functioning that should be prioritized in order to create more father-inclusive service environments and emphasize the need for tailored implementation strategies
