Proučavanje promjena frekvencije elektronskih sudara i apsorpcijskog koeficijenta u neizotropnoj atmosferi
The analytical form of absorption index appropriate to a certain range of height of the upper atmosphere plasma medium during ordinary wave propagation under quasi-transverse approximations has been utilized to develop an integral equation through Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin method of solution. The integral equation is useful for the determination of effective electron collision frequency. Numerical results are presented graphically along with the results of some earlier work.Primjenjujemo analitički izraz za apsorpcijski koeficijent prikladan za širenje običnih elektromagnetskih valova u razmatranom rasponu visina gornje atmosferske plazme. Primijenili smo kvazi-poprečno približenje za izvod integralne jednadžbe pomoću Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouinove metode. Integralna jednadžba je pogodna za određivanje efektivne frekvencije elektronskih sudara. Načinili smo numeričke analize i ishodi se uspoređuju grafički s nekim ranijim rezultatima

Testing radiative neutrino mass generation via R-parity violation at the Tevatron
An R-parity violating SUSY model with lepton-number violating couplings
, i=2,3 can generate a neutrino mass spectrum that explains the
recent results from neutrino oscillation experiments. These R-parity violating
couplings lead to a clean signal with at least one isolated lepton and at least
three tagged jets that is accessible in chargino and neutralino production
at the Tevatron collider. This signature can be probed at up to
GeV (320 GeV) with an integrated luminosity of ().Comment: Version to appear in PL
Validity of quasi-degenerate neutrino mass models and their predictions on baryogenesis
Quasi-degenerate neutrino mass models (QDN) which can explain the current
data on neutrino masses and mixings,are studied. In the first part, we study
the effect of CP-phases on QDN mass matrix obeying symmetry in
normal hierarchical (QD-NH) and inverted hierarchical (QD-IH) patterns.The
numerical predictions are consistent with observed data on solar mixing angle,
absolute neutrino mass parameter consistent with neutrinoless double beta decay
mass parameter and sum of three absolute neutrino masses from cosmological
bound.The neutrino mass matrix is parameterized using only two unknown
parameters. The second part deals with the estimation of observed baryon
asymmetry of the universe. The prediction is nearly consistent with observation
with flavoured thermal leptogenesis scenario. QD-NH model appears to be more
favourable than those of QD-IH models.The present analysis shows that the three
absolute neutrino masses may exhibit quasi-degenerate pattern in nature. They

Religiousness as tourist performances: a case study of Greek Orthodox pilgrimage
The aim of this paper is to decipher ways of experiencing religiousness through tourist performances, intersecting textual approaches with the essential embodiment and materiality of the tourist world. Exploring the diversity of religious tourists’ practices within the Greek Orthodox context, two dimensions underpinning religious tourist experience are highlighted: institutional performances and unconventional performances. Focussing on the embodied experience and drawing upon theories of performance, the paper critiques the interplays of body and place to re-conceptualise current understanding of the pilgrimage/tourism relationship. In doing so, the paper proposes that tourism and religion are not separate entities but linked through embodied notions of godliness sensed through touristic performances
