: This paper is intended to reveal actors and the relationships among actors in the decision mak-ing of the appointment of civil servants in a structural position in Makassar. The study was con-ducted in Makassar using qualitative descriptive method. This study focused on describing the decision making of the appointment of civil servants in a structural position that has been done by the Mayor of Makassar ranging from echelon II, III, and IV. The data collection technique us-ing the technique of triangulation methods of observation, study documents and interviews. The results of the research suggests if there are several actors involved in the appointment of civil servants in a structural position that is including the Mayor, Tim Baperjakat, Head of SKPD and Head of mutations associated with that of the Regional Employment Board. However, the mayor is the main actor who has the greatest authority in determining the appointment, pro-motion and demotion of civil servants in structural positions in particular is regarded as strate-gic positions

Eksistensi Agama Lokal Parmalim Studi Kasus di Nomonatif Pengahayat Nomor Punguan 35 Desa Air Kulim Mandau Bengkalis

Indonesian state based on God guarantees the freedom of each citizen to profess their own religion. There are six recognized religions in Indonesia, which is being debated is a flow of trust/ religion locally outside the religion is marginalized as experienced by the original religion Batak Parmalim. Fellow group Batak themselves say that the teaching is parbegu ganjang, misguided, incorrect, sipele begu, an abominable act carrier and the allegations that can not be accounted for so that the issue Parmalim get a hard life in the community. To the researchers sought to discover the existence of Parmalim by knowing how Parmalim local religious belief systems and the factors driving exist Parmalim in the Village Air Kulim Mandau Bengkalis with descriptive qualitative method. The results showed a belief system Malim grouped into two parts: (1) the doctrine that governs the relationship with God Debata Mulajadi Nabolon through the rites Mararisabtu, Mardebata, Martutuaek, Pasahat Tondi, Mangan Napaet Sipaha Sada, Sipaha Lima meaningful as thanksgiving and ask for blessings of life that being said through Pelean (offerings). (2) the doctrine that governs human relations as embodied the values, norms and guidelines of life and meaning. The factors that make Parmalim exist is the loyalty of followers Parmalim to keep running its religious activities, use of technology, coordination with the government and the Minister of Religious Affairs. Parmalim local religion is not the religion of wild stands without the knowledge of government and troubling the people, and never disturb public order. This religion is protected by the government of Indonesia, Directorate Faith Against the almighty God and Tradition. Parmalim also registered in the Department of Education No. I.136 / F.3 / N.1.1 / 1980 then duly people began to accept and coexist peacefully

Physiological Response of Bali Cattle to Feeding Substitution of Balinese Fermentation Straw

This study aims to see the physiological response of Bali cattle to the feeding of fermented straw substitution. A total of 12 head of Bali cattle average age five years. This research was conducted from August to September 2017 in Cenrana Village, Kahu Sub-district, Bone District, which is a location in the business of Berdikari Berdikari Mallomo Utama. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications so that there were 12 experimental units, the procedure was P0: 100% elephant grass + 100% fermentation control, P1: elephant grass 75% + generation fermentation 25%, P2: 50%, elephant grass + 50% fermenting straw, and P3: Elephant grass 25% + 75% fermentation straw. The parameters observed were body temperature, respiration rate, and liver rate. The data obtained were analyzed variance and continued with LRD test. The results showed that the substitution of hay fermentation had a significant effect (P .01) on the physiological response of Balinese cow heart, but no significant effect (P .05) to the body temperature and the rate of respiration of Bali cattle. The conclusion that by giving fermented straw substitution feed provide an effect on heart rate (58.33 / min) with treatment 25% elephant grass + 75% fermented straw in the normal range for Bali cattle

Polarisasi Melingkar Antena Mikrostrip Persegi Panjang dengan Pencatuan Ganda Secara Langsung Menggunakan Transformator λ/4

WiMAX adalah teknologi tanpa kabel yang memiliki kecepatan akses yang tinggi dengan jangkauan yang luas. Peraturan dan ketentuan WiMAX diatur dalam standar IEEE 802.16 dan WiMAX Forum menetapkan 2 band frekuensi utama pada certification profile untuk Fixed WiMAX, yaitu band 3.5 GHz dan 5.8 GHz, sementara untuk Mobile WiMAX ditetapkan 4 band frekuensi, yaitu band 2.3 GHz, 2.5 GHz, 3.3 GHz dan 3.5 GHz. Sedangkan alokasi frekuensi untuk WiMAX di Indonesia adalah pada frekuensi 2.3 GHz dan frekuensi 3.3 GHz berdasarkan ketetapan keputusan Direktorat Jenderal Pos dan Telekomunikasi Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini dirancang antena mikrostrip berbentuk persegi panjang dengan polarisasi melingkar yang dicatu menggunakan pencatuan ganda menggunakan transformator λ/4 untuk diaplikasikan pada teknologi WiMAX yang bekerja pada frekuensi 2.3 GHz. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa antena dapat bekerja pada frekuensi 2.3 GHz dengan return loss sebesar -37,48 dB dan VSWR 1,027. Bandwidth yang dihasilkan adalah 576 MHz atau sekitar 25,04% dan hasil pengukuran pola radiasi didapatkan nilai Half Power BeamWidth (HPBW) sebesar 50o.

Biodiesel is a methyl ester transesterification reaction products of triglycerides derived from vegetable oils or animal fats. One among of vegetable oils that can produce biodiesel is kapok seed oil. Kapok seed oil had higher levels of unsaturated fatty acids are high that they could be made to produce biodiesel. This research is aim to make biodiesel from kapok seed oil, studying the effect of concentration of activated clay catalyst to the amount of biodiesel produced, determine the characteristics of biodiesel from kapok seed oil and determine the best catalyst activation of the activation of acid or base. The transesterification process occured at a temperature of 60oC, the weight of oil 50 grams, the reaction time 1,5 hours, mole ratio of oil to methanol 1 : 9, variation of the catalyst concentration 0,1%, 0,5%, and 1%-weight of oil, and variations of acid solution (0,47%, 0,62%, dan 0,78%) and alkaline solution (0,33%, 0,44%, 0,66%) for activation of catalyst. From the result is obtained the highest biodiesel of 1% catalyst concentration of acid activation 0,78%, methanol mole ratio of 1: 9 for 1,5 hours as much as to 92,62 %. Characterization of physical properties of biodiesel is density of 871 kg/m3, 3,11 mm2/s kinematic viscosity, acid number 0.36 mg KOH / g sample, and the flash point 200oC respectivity

Comparison of Expression of God in Poems Written by Amir Hamzah, Chairil Anwar and Sutardji Calzoum Bachri

God becomes the search for religious people. This search is expressed in the form of books, songs, movies, or even in the form of literary works. The individual poets express God in poetry. There is a difference between one poet and the other. In this study, therefore, we examine several issues: the expression of God in Amir Hamzah\u27s poem entitled Drop Back, the expression of God in Chairil Anwar\u27s poem entitled Prayer, the expression of God in the Sutardji Calzoum Bachri poem entitled Amuk, and the comparison of expression on God in the poems of the poets. This research is qualitative with descriptive nature. In this case, data collection is done by library method and documentation technique. Further data analysis is done with the application of Roland Barthes semiotics theory, namely the principle of signifier (sign), signified (signified), and meaning (signification). This analysis begins by splitting the data in the form of fragments that are arbitrarily defined. Thereafter, the first or denotative meanings are determined by looking at the lexical meaning, and the meaning of the second or connotative level is determined by the search for a relation between marker and second level marker. By looking at the significance of the second level, the expression of God in the poetry of the poets in can be determined. Thus, the results of data analysis show things as follows. (1) Amir Hamzah expresses God with the fragment of your servant tongue, different, develops, spreads me up the ladder of captivity, and descends again. (2) Chairil Anwar expresses God with the fragments of prayer and at your door I knock. (3) Sutarjdi Calzoum Bachri expresses God with the fragments of my cat and se There is mmmmMu!
