    The discussion of Genealogy of the science of Tarbiyah and Islamic Education dealing with its growth and development can be traced from Prophet Mohammed’s period. Genealogy of the science of Tarbiyah as a scientific foundation of Islamic Education was rooted in the first Revelation recieved by Prophet Muhammad showing the importance of education. The word Iqra’اقرا) ) shows the activity of reading; the word al-Qalam (القلم) suggests the importance of educational means and technologies for writing activities, and the word maalam ya'lam (مالم يعلم ) indicates the object in education (students) and the need for an educator. Then, the history of Islamic education showed that Prophet Muhammad pays high attention to education. He always held a study (ta'lim) to his friends in order to make them understand the Islamic teachings universally. He designed a complex study, Dar al-Arqam (educational institutions). The Badr war prisoners who can read and write can be released if they can teach to read and write to at least 10 Muslim children (the eradication of illiteracy). Furthermore, At its development, Islamic education is seen during Khulafah Al-Rasyidin with maintaining the characteristic as Prophet Muhammad periode even though every change of leadership was marked by several significant developments. To uncover the history of Islamic education development during the Khulafah Al-Rashidun, it should be approached gradually in accordance with the leadership of the caliphate period (Abubakar-As-Siddiq, Umar Bin Khattab, Uthman Bin Affan, and Ali Bin Abi Talib)

    This study aims to: (1) find out the theory of the arrival of Islam in the archipelago, (2) to find out the development of Islam in the archipelago, and (3) early centers of Islamic education in Southeast Asia. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through literature review methods. The results of the study show that for the first time the arrival of Islam in the archipelago was based on several theories, including the Gujarati theory, Mecca theory, Persian theory, Chinese theory, and Egyptian theory. The development of Islam in the archipelago was influenced by trading activities, marriage processes, da'wah activities, and through education. Islamic education centers in the archipelago are carried out in Muslim places of worship (mosques). As for the Islamic kingdoms in the archipelago, namely the kingdom of Perlak, the kingdom of Samudra Pasai, and the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam

    THE APPLICATION OF BEHAVIORISTIC THEORY IN THE 2013 CURRICULUM LEARNING TO SHAPE THE PRINCIPLES OF STUDENTS' CHARACTERS

    The purpose of this study is to describe the application of behavioristic theory in the learning of morality in the 2013 curriculum at the elementary school level. In addition, to reveal the implications of behavioristic theory in learning morality in the 2013 curriculum to shape the morals of elementary school students. This type of research is classified as library research with an interpretative text approach. Data were collected by quoting, adapting, and analyzing using data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model of representative literature and having relevance to the problem discussed, then interpreting the data so that it becomes a conclusion that is considered to answer the problem formulation. The results of the study indicate that there are two main implications, namely: educators utilize preliminary and closing activities of learning as a means to shape the morals of students, and educators cooperate with various components of education staff in schools to form attitudes that lead to moral formation, including: a. ) condition students in an environment that allows the formation of morals, b) create programs that allow students to learn to implement concept learning into practice, c) provide examples to students in the school environment; and d) make a moral commitment to students.The purpose of this study is to describe the application of behavioristic theory in the learning of morality in the 2013 curriculum at the elementary school level.     The purpose of this research is to explore the role of humans as counselors and counseling recipients in the context of Islamic education through the library research method. This research utilizes the library research method involving the analysis of literature, scientific articles, books, and other reliable sources related to counseling in Islamic education. Data is collected through searching and selecting relevant sources on the research topic. Humans as counselors and counseling recipients in Islamic education have complementary roles. Counselors use their knowledge, skills, and experiences in counseling to help individuals achieve well-being and recovery, while individuals as counseling recipients actively engage in the counseling process by being open to receiving support and taking steps towards change. Through the library research approach, this study provides a better understanding of the role of humans as counselors and counseling recipients in Islamic education, providing a strong foundation for the development of counseling based on Islamic principles

    Urgensi Pendidikan Islam dalam Interaksi Sosial Masyarakat Soppeng: Upaya Mewujudkan Masyarakat Madani

    This research discusses the importance of Islamic education in social interactions in order to realize the civil society in Soppeng Regency. The type of research used is a qualitative descriptive method. The research approach uses theological normative, social, and pedagogical approaches. The informants from this research were the community of the Soppeng Regency, by prioritizing community figures, religious figures, and educational figures. The results of the research found that the relation of social interaction of the people in Soppeng Regency was divided into two, namely: 1) contractual relations in urban communities whose lifestyles began to be influenced by modern lifestyle patterns, and 2) emotional relations based on cultural in rural communities who maintained cultural and traditional lifestyle patterns. The roles of Islamic community figures in the social interaction of the people in Soppeng Regency are founder and manager of Islamic education institutions; as a government partner; providing information on Islamic teaching; give decisions and solutions to community problems. The position of Islamic education in social interaction is very important in order to realize the civil society in Soppeng Regency. This can be seen in the growth of community tolerance, democratic governance that makes events and ceremonies of traditional and religious a work program, even raising the awareness of citizens to resolve their conflicts peacefully on the principle of deliberation based on Islamic teachings fairly without looking at one's social background or stratification

    Penelitian ini membahas tentang perlakuan orang tua dan keadaan anakputus sekolah yang ada di Desa Parappe Kecamatan CampalagianKabupaten Polewali Mandar. Tujuan peneliti ini adalah untukmengetahui:1) untuk mengetahui perlakuan orang tua terhadap anak putussekolah di dalam lingkungan keluarga, 2) untuk mengetahui kedaan anakputus sekolah, 3) mengetahui faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah di DesaParappe.Jenis Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif, sifatnyadeskriptif analitis. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Proses Analisis data yaitu reduksi data,penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Sumber data yangdigunakan adalah orang tua dan anak putus sekolah, aparatur desa, dantokoh agama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keadaan anak putussekolah, Adapun Perlakuan-pelakuan orang tua terhadap anak putussekolah, orang tua telah memberikan perlakuan permisif yaitu perlakuansedikit terlibat dengan anak dan tidak menyadari apa yang dilakukan anaksehingga cenderung kehilangan control diri dalam pergaulan danmengalami putus sekolah,. Faktor penyebab anak putus sekolah yaitu faktorinternal, karena kurangnya motivasi dari dalam diri sendiri, faktoreksternal yaitu faktor ekonomi orang tua yang tidak mampu membiayaianaknya sekolah, dan faktor sosial budaya masyarakat yaitu faktor pergaulanak.Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah diharapkan keluarga harusmenjalankan fungsinya baik sebagai orang tua maupun sebagai anak-anakkhususnya keluarga yang memiliki anak putus sekolah. Keluarga,masyarakat, serta pengusaha yang ada di Desa Parappe harus bekerja samadalam meningkatkan sumber daya manusia, khususnya dalam bidangpendidikan.
