or several years you now we have been producing a number of didactic videos designed to complete the written material in the subject Social Pedagogy and Sosiology of the Adaptation Course Education  for the Education Scences Career. Our worl was targeted to provide  autonomus teaching to ouor studens who took part  at the  tutorials. To do so we issued a form containing important quiestion to ve considered when analysing and assessing this audio-visual material. These videos carried the following titles: Group dynamics in the classroom: basic principlesGroup dynamics: techniquesLeadership. The teacher's role in present day societySocial-metrix techniques The assessment of each one will allow ann improvement in the preparation of the future videos that are made.Durante varios años hemos venido realizando una serie de videos didácticos con el fin de contemplar el material escritoene la asignatura de "Pedagogía Social y Sociológica de la Educación". NUestro objetivo era el de facilitar el aprendizaje autónomo a nuestro alumnado y, al mismo tiempo, favorecer el trabajo operativo entre aquellos que participaban en las tutorías. La imagen y la credibilidad en el gobierno zedillista se han vuelto condiciones necesarias para gobernar, en tanto la imagen se resuelve en percepciones preconfiguradas con carácter emotivo acerca de lo que la gente desea de un líder símbolo y de un gobierno. Una adecuada construcción de la imagen podrá generar mayor credibilidad y por tanto será campo propicio para la gobernabilidad.Never before image and credibility have acquired such an importance for the political administration as in the case of the present mexican government, It is because the image resolves into preconceived notions the emotional wish of what a symbol-leader or government are. “Infamia y vandalismo” (1944), una colaboración significativa de José Revueltas

Resumen Este trabajo rescata un breve ensayo de José Revueltas, el artículo “Infamia y vandalismo”, publicado en noviembre de 1944 en el primer número de lo que fuera el órgano de expresión del Instituto de Intercambio Cultural Mexicano-Ruso hasta enero de 1955, la revista Cultura Soviética. El texto, de talante político, celebra la victoria de la Unión Soviética sobre la Alemania nazi y expone, ejemplarmente, uno de los razonamientos que había sido repetido por el politburó soviético con insistencia: que el comunismo representaba la paz y la cultura frente al nazismo, el cual no podía ser otra cosa que destrucción y barbarie. Así, el rescate se considera importante por las implicaciones que tiene en relación con el contexto de la época (finales de la Segunda Guerra Mundial), recordándonos a un Revueltas y a una izquierda unida en un bloque antifascista y proestalinista, hasta cierto grado, olvidados a día de hoy, lo que nos convoca a reconstruir tanto su trayectoria política e intelectual como la de la izquierda mexicana de ese periodo. La introducción repasa los principales elementos con los que debe conectarse el texto para entender su relevancia, por un lado, en el panorama cultural del momento y, por otro, en la formación de Revueltas: el Instituto de Intercambio Cultural Mexicano-Ruso y la revista Cultura Soviética, el clima de confrontación ideológico previo a los inicios de la Guerra Fría, el itinerario político de Revueltas en relación con el Partido Comunista Mexicano y otras formaciones de izquierda.ABSTRACT: This project rescues a brief essay titled “Infamia y vandalismo” by José Revueltas. The text was issued in November 1944 in the main medium of publication of the Mexican-Russian Institute of Cultural Exchange: the journal Cultura Soviética. “Infamia y vandalismo” is a text of political nature, which celebrates the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany and illustrates one of the arguments insistently repeated by the Soviet politburo: that communism represented peace and culture, while Nazism promoted destruction and barbarism. The significance of this text relies on the implications that it has in relation to the context of its time (the end of World War II), thus bringing forth a period of Revueltas’s life and of the antifascist and pro-Stalinist left somewhat forgotten nowadays. In other words, this essay can help us to partially reconstruct the intellectual trajectory of the great Mexican writer. The introduction reviews the main elements that should be considered alongside “Infamia y vandalismo” in order to grasp its relevance in the cultural landscape of the moment and in relation to Revueltas’s personal growth: the Institute of Mexican- Russian Cultural Exchange and the journal Cultura Soviética, the atmosphere of ideological confrontation prior to the beginning of the Cold War, as well as the political itinerary of Revueltas in relation to the Mexican Communist Party and other left-wing formations

Certains indicateurs de la qualité en Éducation préscolaire

The finding of the true quality indicators in Pre-Primary Education is an objective that has not been fully reached so far, though there is an increasing amount of papers dealing with the topic. To bridge this gap we considered that we could turn to the opinion of the teaching staff about the quality of the Pre-Primary Education and the possibilities of improvement. The work we are presenting here is the result of discussions with doctoral candidates in Pedagogy in an Inter-University Programme that started in 2004 and in which there has been a comprehensive analysis of the documentary sources. In order to obtain the data we have given the participants a self-administered questionnaire based on a quantitative and qualitative methodology. The different options offered by the Lickert scales allowed us to get the opinion of the teaching staff in the different areas under study, whereas the Analysis of the Main Components allowed us to develop an interpretation of certain aspects.Encontrar los auténticos indicadores de la calidad en la Educación infantil es un objetivo aún no totalmente alcanzado, a pesar de la creciente cantidad de escritos en torno a ellos. Para cubrir el trecho que falta hemos considerado necesario contextualizar la opinión del profesorado sobre la calidad de la Educación infantil y las posibilidades de mejora. El trabajo que aquí presentamos es fruto de un debate con doctorandos de Pedagogía en un Programa Interuniversitario que se inició en 2004, en el que no ha faltado un exhaustivo análisis de las fuentes documentales. El instrumento que hemos aplicado para obtener los datos es un cuestionario autoadministrado que utiliza una metodología cuantitativa-cualitativa. Las diferentes opciones de las escalas Lickert nos han permitido recabar la opinión de profesorado en las distintas áreas solicitadas, mientras que el Análisis de Componentes Principales nos ha facilitado la interpretación de determinados aspectos.La recherche de vrais indicateurs de la qualité en Éducation préscolaire est un objectif qui n’est pas encore totalement atteint, malgré la croissante quantité de textes sur le sujet. Pour couvrir cette lacune, nous avons pensé que le mieux était de demander au corps professoral de nous donner leur opinion sur la qualité de l’Éducation préscolaire et sur les possibilités d’amélioration. Le travail que nous présentons ici est le fruit d’un débat avec des élèves au doctorat en Pédagogie dans un programme inter-université qui a commencé en 2004, dans lequel il y a une analyse exhaustive des sources documentaires. L’outil utilisé pour obtenir les données est un questionnaire auto-administré se basant sur une méthodologie quantitative-qualitative. Les options des échelles Lickert nous ont permis d’obtenir l’opinion du corps professoral dans les domaines voulus, alors que l’Analyse des Principales Composantes nous a permis d’interpréter certains aspects.</span

“Society-Education”. Bibliographical research

With the work that here we present, we try to extend and update the field related to the society - education, in the field of the social-education. Specifically, we have realized a bibliographical investigation in which it is explored the written or published in diverse supports on the topic that concerns us. We will begin by defining some general questions as the topic, the problem, the theoretical framework to be used, etc. Next we proceed to exhibit, briefly, the bibliographical investigation previously developed.The followed procedure has been the following one: the search terms have been detailed – society and education - source consulted and combination of result of search; the temporary limit has been established between January, 2010 and June, 2012; they have been consulted 16 Databases-BD - generals and national BD to avoid the present anglo-saxon bias present in many of the international BD. Next a BD was made in RefWorks with the target to analyze more comfortably every individual record. Finally, we proceeded to the elimination of duplicates and of not-relevant publications, choosing the most informative reference in each case.The BD have been classified taking into account the following criteria: subject-matters (ERA, ERIC, IBSS, PsycINFO, ProQuest Sociology, Social Services Abstracts, Sociological Abstracts, Social Work Abstracts and REDINED), multidisciplinary (Academic Search Premier, Dialnet, E-Journals ProQuest Dissertations &amp; Theses Database, ProQuest Research Library and Web of Science) and collective catalogs (REBIUN). In the results a whole of 9.388 references, that we had to simplify this by reason of brevity.</p

EL ESTUDIANTE INMIGRANTE Y SU INCLUSIÓN EN LA UNIVERSIDAD ESPAÑOLA

Este artículo es producto de un proyecto de investigación financiado por el MICINN que intenta visualizar las dificultades que los inmigrantes universitarios manifiestan tener para obtener éxito en sus estudios. Se trata de una investigaciónno experimental de carácter descriptivo y correlacional que utiliza como unidad de análisis el inmigrante universitario matriculado en una carrera en distintas universidades públicas españolas. Emplea metodologías cuantitativas y cualitativas, recogiéndose la información a través de un cuestionariocon respuestas de escala tipo Lickert, convenientemente validado, y una serie de grupos de discusión para obtener datos de carácter cualitativo. Además de hacer un breve recorrido por la literatura al respecto y de exponer los datos numéricos y cualitativos del Estudio, se van a ofrecer algunasmedidas inclusivas para intentar solventar cada uno de los problemas académicos que ha manifestado tener esta población. Estos apoyos inclusivos indicados podrían, igualmente, ser útiles para cubrir las necesidades que puedanpresentar, en los próximos años, los estudiantes europeos que se movilicen por las universidades españolas.ABSTRACTThis article is the product of a research project financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation in an attempt to visualise the difficulties immigrant university students claim to experience in succeeding at university in Spain. This non-experimental, descriptive, correlational research uses as itsunit of analysis the immigrant university student pursuing a degree, in different Spanish public universities. The study employs quantitative and qualitative methodologies, gathering information through a questionnaire with answers on a properly validated Lickert-type scale and a series of discussion groups to get qualitative data. In addition to brief review by the literature in the matter, the numerical and qualitative data of the Study, are exposed and present some inclusive measures offered to endeavour to solve each of the academic problems the target population claimed to have met. These supportive measures could likewise be useful in covering the needs that European students may display in upcoming years as they move more freely through Spanish universities
